1482  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: To buy or not to buy. That is the question on: February 22, 2013, 01:10:41 AM
WAIT !
Its the most sensible thing to do. I really hope BFL delivers or a lot of people are going to be really disappointed and out of a LOT of money.
It screams suspicious to me that shipping dates keep getting pushed back and back. And also Josh Zerlan, the CEO of BFL is a white-collar criminal. He was involved in a mail-lottery scam and served time for it. Interesting to put someone like him in charge of your company...
1483  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Offer for you Nubzors on: February 22, 2013, 12:33:52 AM
I'm not here to record keys. If you guys are worried about that its understandable. What I'm selling are bills on high quality paper with a custom design. If you want I can print your design, leave two boxes empty (for key and address), give you the location on the bill to place them (in a word doc or something), you put em in your printer, generate your own keys and addresses, turn them into QR codes, place and print. And I'll send along with them 5 security scratch offs.
1484  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Offer for you Nubzors on: February 22, 2013, 12:22:03 AM
The scratch-off covers your private key so no one can see it, ..
But, you have seen it, haven't you?
So I have to fully trust your word, that you didn't store the keys somewhere to grab my coins later.

Not really recommended to trust anyone if it's about money.

Hell, even if he didn't save the document used to print this so called "bill", he could easily reconstruct the entire thing from the printer spool queue and just grab the coins as soon as someone loads the bill.
Have I ever wronged you? You seem to post something critical in every thread I start. Don't you have anything better to do?
1485  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Offer for you Nubzors on: February 22, 2013, 12:20:33 AM
Is there not an element of trust involved with every transaction on here? What about Casascius coins? Yes, e has more tools at his disposal to show that he's not recording keys, but still you're trusting him. If you guys don't want to buy them or trust me, that's fine. I've sold and will continue to sell these in the regular marketplace, BitMit, and eBay.
1486  Economy / Services / Let me Write Your Paper-(Senior College Student w/3.5@US News top 30) on: February 21, 2013, 08:59:01 PM
Fee will be negotiable. It depends on length, difficulty, deadline, etc. But the average paper will cost about .7BTC/page.
That's write (pun intended). I will write your paper for Bitcoins (not including works cited, thats free). I attend a top 4 University of California school in US News' Top 30 List of Best Colleges. I am a Senior Poli Sci and East Asian History student. Although, I am confident in my ability to write for any Literature, etc class. I guarantee you a grade above the class average. If interested, please PM me. I can provide you with my credentials. Also, I will need the prompt from you and all of the materials that you are supposed to refer to. Odds are I can find the same documents in my University's database (JSTORE and more). I reserve the right to say no to some topics-I wouldn't be doing you any favor writing your essay in those cases.

Paper=Fiat Money
I couldn't think of a better way to succinctly put it. Any suggestions?

Hi guys,
I'm going to be making stickers out of this thing to increase BTC awareness. They are designed to be on a stop sign (so clever!). I plan to distribute a good amount for free.I have to figure out pricing, etc. But I will make no profit, and I'm even willing to do it out of my own pocket. I just wondered what you think?

Do any of you guys get asked for donations out of the blue or by someone you're conducting business/otherwise engaged in conversation with? Also "Do you want to buy my xxx account?". I don't mind homeless people begging, they need to. But I hate people asking for handouts, hate it.
1492  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: faking a bitcoin note on: February 21, 2013, 07:57:58 AM
Nope. That's why I have trouble selling my bills sometimes. You definitely shouldn't trust everybody.
1493  Other / Beginners & Help / Offer for you Nubzors on: February 21, 2013, 07:46:43 AM
Hey guys,
Welcome. I'm sure plenty of you are not new to Bitcoins, but then again I'm sure some of you are. You probably have a wallet w/Instawallet (not saying thats a bad thing). Have you heard of a Paper Wallet? Its the safest [and coolest] way to store your Bitcoins. They are completely offline, and exist in a long numerical code no one else could ever possibly discover. When you want to turn Bitcoins from your paper wallet into ones in your hot wallet that you can spend, its quite easy.
Anyways, my offer is this: for 0.15 Bitcoins I'll help you start multiple paper wallets, if you'd like. What I'm offering (shipping included) are 5 x Bitcoin Bills. They are printed on 100% Cotton and have a Security scratch-off. The scratch-off covers your private key so no one can see it, and also makes you think twice about spending your bills! All orders will come with a very thorough set of directions that anyone will be able to understand.
Thanks!
1494  Economy / Goods / [WTS] NGC Graded AU53 and AU55 1970 Error Quarters on Dime Planchet (THIN!) on: February 21, 2013, 01:49:07 AM
I doubt I'll get any bites for these on here, but its worth a try. Check eBay for the value and you'll see these are fairly priced. Also, these are graded AU (Almost Uncirculated)-I haven't seen any of these with the same grade.

4 BTC shipped for AU 55
3.75 BTC shipped for AU 53

1495  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] JM Johnson Matthey Silver Bullion 1 oz bars in airtites on: February 21, 2013, 01:09:28 AM
actually, 1 troy ounce (how precious metals are measured) is 31.1 grams... and yes, its about a $1 a gram at spot. But these go for $40 all day plus shipping on eBay.
You're right, JM Bars are preferred. I have all JM bars except for a Sunshine and a NWTM. Although, the only silver bars that really go for a premium are the Credit Suisse or the PAMP bars. I can go into my coin shop, ask for 2 bars, and they sell me whatever they have in stock that day, at the same price regardless of brand.
1496  Economy / Goods / Re: wts tooth (auction) on: February 21, 2013, 12:28:17 AM
I'm guessing this is to raise cash to repay the guy you scammed?

I hope so...

I was like :O WTF? Then I realised it was OnCrack ....errrrr I mean On9isrock.
This is the same guy who told me he wouldn't repay me because 'he's Muslim' and 'the evil spirit told me to take your money'.
Are you serious?

Unfortunately, yes.

All the logs are at:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=129811.0
First of all, I'm sorry man-that sucks. I hope its not a lot of BTC you're out. I know Hasimir, too. I guess all contracts are null and void if the evil spirits are involved. If I'm ever in Malaysia I'll get your BTC back for you, and the rest of his teeth.
1497  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: An example of why you probably don't want to waste your time on "johnniewalker" on: February 20, 2013, 04:45:38 AM
Wait who is the child, You or Johnnie who ever?
It's him. I wouldn't send him my coins before I received payment for them, and he wouldn't do escrow. I offered to do things on his terms in a smaller-scale transaction and he took my messages out of context and made this thread. As you can see, he is not held in very high regard on here. That's why I stopped even bothering to read this thread. I just noticed it and looked now cause its a rather old one, I wanted to see who revived it.
