Good point, but can't we turn that around? In all fairness, why should someone who is fortunate enough to afford $20k worth of coins be able to have full control over the direction of the coin. Not everyone was born rich... but everyone should have a right to vote fairly. If that's the case, why even bother voting for anything. Let them just take control of the coin and let everyone else have no voice.

I wasn't born rich and I own more than $20k worth of Blackcoin 4. Everyone does have a right to vote fairly. The more Blackcoin you own, the more your vote counts. That sounds fair to me 5. Why bother voting for anything? Google the paradox of voting. 6. Everyone has a voice. Btw I don't care either way about the voting myself, I'm too busy right now. But I've yet to see a solid argument against votes being proportional to the amount of your Blackcoins. Really you have no choice anyway if we have decentralised voting via Blackcoins: A determined person with lots of Blackcoin can just split up their coins to different addresses and looks like different voters to anyone else. |

I vote for people that hold the most cash to have the biggest say in what the foundation should do. Oligarchy for the win
So for example if 500 members with a total of 500,000 coins vote that BlackCoin shouldn't be renamed.. but 2 members with millions of coins decide they want to rename the coin. We have to rename the coin. Just because 2 members with more coins made the decision? Makes sense to me. The more coins you hold, the more you are affected by any decision. Why should 20 people who own 10 coins each outweigh the opinion of someone who has $20k worth of blackcoin. |

ironically this whole circus started today - probably the first day in weeks where no one was constantly dumping.
still no proof from either side, maybe i'll find something when i am back, g'nite folks.
We need to deal with that on free market always will be whales who want pump and dump all crypto plays that game. IE - you need to know that we can not sustain never constant price growth without some efforts there we don't need dump group and i think no one from bag holders will dump BC in easy way mayby slow sell of like it was now so far. Just look how much whales BTC burned was by WC,AC,Cinni all of them cutter BC market cap cake... But you need to know this is shit because if thre weren't copycats there would be other coins. Why we don't have constant rise ? SIMPLE LOOK AT - 1st PURE java POS NXT 0% inflation is its price grow constantly ? Yea their holders like BC are cashing out on high and price is dumped but that way NXT is consuming value and provides better distribution and stable value. they made MP too... they MADE a lot of projects around and their price keep ~0.5~0.7 BTC per 1000NXT. At 90k sat we was on NXT coinmarket cap lvl with NXT how we can goo higher than their with constant BS here form some people. Copy cats there are not threads coins like NXT Etherum- innovative exct new fields of adoptaion counts for investors. We can bicth about price but this is pointless to over to top we need more people like rat4 who will help him THIS IS CHALENGE not bicthing that someone manipulate price +-10%. If someone have anouth BC to manipulate price he can do it because this is free market i don't see trend down in BC like in BTC right now so what the problem really is ? Precisely, even if there is some entity controlling the price, the free market will eventually out gun whoever it is and they will no longer be in power. Albeit it may take more time for the free market to amass enough leverage against this supposed dumper; however, in time it doesn't matter. What matters is that Blackcoin continues to reign supreme in its rise to the top. Sure, the invisible hand of the market will fix all of these problems. Because that worked so well in other areas. People wrote long rants about Bitcoin being heavily manipulated when the price was in the $2 to $6 range. Read the old posts on this forum. They referred to the entity as "the manipulator"  |

Iconic you have no proof that a wealthy group of insiders have been suppressing the price. All you have is: - Proof that some people wanted you to lie to MINT holders about being approached by MINT whales. Big deal, this would not suppress Blackcoin price. - Someone called Veritas apparently told you coordinated people are manipulating the price. So what? If I pm you that the tooth fairy is manipulating Blackcoin, will you believe that too? This community is full of scammers, liars, conmen, people who will say any manner of things. You're either incredibly naive or you're trying to cause the price to crash  I really hope you have some actual proof otherwise all your credibility has just gone out of the window. |

To my dismay, my Reddit post was up voted 12x and down voted 5x. Why even a down vote?
Don't worry pal that's the Reddit voting algorithm. After a few votes it randomly adds up and downvotes equally. So it's very possible your submission received 7 up votes and 0 downvotes. Or 8 upvotes and 1 downvote etc. Sounds like I'm making it up but google it if you want... they do it to prevent spammers from learning which of their voting bots are working correctly. Btw check out my subreddit re-design attempt. I submitted it earlier. |

He claims to be a BC holder, but ask him to send a signed message from an address with a significant amount of BC and be surprised what happens.
whatever he does, he always insinuates that everybody has base motives, be it IE, the foundation guys, one of us "mid size holders" when we do not agree.
You will not find a single post without subtile negativity or FUD.

Basically they needed funds to set up their safecoin network so they made this IPO. Now the mastercoins they received are pretty useless as they can't make much selling them due to no market depth and they can't use them to buy equipment directly. But the BTC on the other hand is what they're using right now to set up safecoin. The issue is that they're using the BTC investor funds and not the msc to set up safecoin, but they've given those investors the least bang for their buck.
Why do you think maidsafe stopped accepting msc during their IPO? They told everyone that it was to give BTC investors an opportunity to buy, but the most obvious reason is that they needed BTC much more than mastercoin. MSC can't pay for the servers they say they need.
I'm starting to doubt the legitimacy of a big portion of the MSC investors too. If they were able to purchase a huge amount of msafe to 'save' some for the btc investors, who's to say that they didn't purchase a huge portion in small chunks as well? After all, the investments are going back into their pockets.
I wonder if there would be grounds for a lawsuit by BTC investors if safecoin does actually take off in the future?

I wish to complain that some other people got it for a better price than me therefore getting more for a lower price" 1. There is zero grounds for any kind of lawsuit. I'm not wasting my time arguing with someone who doesn't understand law. If an IPO occurred in the regulated markets as it played out with maidsafe it would be criminal. End of story. Anyone who invested via BTC made an instant loss due to Maidsafe botching up the allocation of the coins. If a company has terms and conditions on a contract stating "I am allowed to screw you over" and I sign it, if the company screws me over they are still breaking the law. Your only possible counter argument is taking the stance this isn't a regulated market. |

barabbas I do not have 800k. That whole ledger looks wrong. I have not made a single transaction since 4/28. I don't know what that is showing.
edit: I asked for explanation and apparently staking is somehow shown as transactions... and when you see 800k it is at the end of the block in which 400k staked?
I do not understand it myself but I hope you will investigate and come to your own conclusions. Perhaps there is a better blockchain viewer?

Scammy? Just plain confusing? Not inviting, that's for sure. Is there any link to the REAL, one and only blockchain that shows, without any possible room for doubt, what have been the transactions? Talk about cleaning house... And, by the way, Arigard and the resty of those 15-20 people self-appointed to the future "Foundation", no one else wanting to come forward ans say who they are, what do they bring to the table and what are their stakes and where so we can see what is the level of their interests?
