121  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin have a price increase before the halving like we saw in 2016? on: January 08, 2020, 10:27:46 AM
It's slowly increasing now... Although with different reason. We are all hoping for that, and we can expect that it will also increase just like what happened before but we also shouldn't rely too much on the history. "History repeats itself" yeah but not on every cases. An increase might happen but possibly not the same as before in 2016.
122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They want your Bticoin. Don't fall for this new scam, it's too real on: January 07, 2020, 03:56:30 PM
Crypto is very vulnerable from scammers and if someone randomly just messaged you in telegram, doubt already and don't give your trust. That's very suspicious already so don't entertain them. Ignore them if it's only about money, because they're trying to scam you. Why would someone you don't know would come and will they you that they're here to "help you"Huh When he could just help his friends.
123  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bull Run sa taong 2020 Magsisimula nga ba ? on: January 07, 2020, 03:18:18 PM
124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason behind creating Bitcoin. on: January 07, 2020, 02:15:08 PM
After Bitcoin was created, it didn't become popular that instant. So if that's the main reason, then it took Bitcoin years before it helped the economic catastrophe back in 2008. Satoshi can only answer the reason behind creating bitcoin. The situation back then might have pushed Satoshi to pursue creating bitcoin. Maybe he also have another reason, but I know Bitcoin was created with a good intention and to help people.
125  Economy / Economics / Re: Your Views: Which Innovative Ways Government Might Use To Expand Crypto Use on: January 07, 2020, 12:43:53 PM
IF is possible, things I can think of are;
It could start with local governments like every local government official in every city can make ways to expand crypto awareness. (1)This promotion can be done by providing free seminars for students and those who wants to learn. If they really want to expand it, (2) shops that the government own or have partnerships with, can accept crypto payment just like any digital payment.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the price of Altcoin be good in 2020? on: January 07, 2020, 10:52:59 AM
In 2019, the price of Altcoin has dropped significantly. It is now hoped that the price of Altcoin will improve in 2020. Is that possible?
Of course. You know that some altcoins price can be affected by bitcoins volatility also. If Bitcoin will do good this year, we can also expect some results for altcoins. And this year we are also expecting halving so it can also bring good news to altcoin.

Altcoins improvement is always possible. We just need to choose altcoins we know who have future. Let's be optimistic.
127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Affection of War to Bitcoin? on: January 06, 2020, 07:30:37 PM
Two world wars before nuclear weapons Not yet popular, but now, the world has tens of thousands of nuclear weapons. Pray that World War 3 will not happen because it could be destruction. And bitcoin and humans may also disappear.
The present days can be ready dangerous to have war because countries like them are prepared and already invested a lot with different weapons like nuclear weapons. It's really dangerous especially with technological advancement! That's what makes it more scary to think than the effect of it with Bitcoin. You'll have to make sure you're safe first before worrying about the price. There could be mix effect with it. It can rise but in the end might be falling. We'll never know
128  Local / Pamilihan / Re: How I Got Tricked and Lost all my Cryptos stored in Coins.ph on: January 06, 2020, 05:37:13 PM
129  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price rising since 4 days ago on: January 06, 2020, 05:05:33 PM
Looks awesome. I think this is a great way to start the new year since it came from $7.3k and now at $7.5k in Binance. With the problems around the conflict between US and Iran, hope BTC's price won't be affected greatly.
Yes it is a good news for us that the price is slowly increasing but if this rise is due to the happenings between US and Iran, is it really a good way to start the year? The continuous rise will only benefit us. But out there, a lot of people are worried about this news. I don't know whether to be happy with this thought. of course half of me is happy but it's just the beginning so let's wait how this will affect Bitcoin.
130  Economy / Economics / Re: World Economy and war situation and crypto on: January 06, 2020, 03:46:49 PM
It won't show much impact with the current situation but once it grows bigger that war already started and that a lot of people are starting to be affected by the war, then that's the time that it will show big impact to crypto.
News article already said that Iran put a red flag on one of their highest place something. I don't know. I'm not familiar but they said that red flag depicts war. So U.S. should be careful that Iran might start attacking them. War might start soon but I hope it won't. Because it will affect people economically and even their financial status
131  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Maharlika Money on: January 06, 2020, 11:08:16 AM
132  Economy / Economics / Re: Grandma tell you to keep old coin in piggy bank on: January 05, 2020, 10:43:00 AM
Crypto and physical coin are different. Old coin becomes valuable because the government is changing its coin's design. So basically, old designed coin will be valuable. There are people who collect those kind of things and the older it is, the higher value you will get if you sell it to them. Keeping old coin will surely be valuable in the future because it's an official currency and is part of a country's history. While keeping crypto for a long time just like old coins, we will never be sure if it will still be valuable during that time.
133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Faketoshi has failed again! on: January 04, 2020, 04:15:25 PM
Craig's main purpose is only to gain public attention but he will never succeed when it comes to spreading fud. The truth will always speak for itself and Bitcoin will never fail to prove its capability. The best thing that we can do is just to ignore fud and fake information especially if it came fro  the mouth of a dishonest person.

How many times will he still pursue his passion to spread fuds to people? I don't see its positive effects thus he's just making these kind of news to increase influence for his self interest and his own business could possibly gain more followers. But it turns out to be that people are seeing his actions negatively and the opposite is being imparted. Anyway, instead of us dealing with his dream, we could focus on more productive ways of contributing to the cryptocurrency community.
He's getting the attention but I don't think the attention he is getting will do good for a business. Because the image he is getting is being a fake, liar, and more negative image. Who would follow a person like that?

Even though we say that we should just ignore him, we can't deny that since he already grew hates by crypto users, everything he says will matter or be a topic here in the forum.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gifting satoshis to future generations on: January 04, 2020, 03:07:02 PM
That's a nice idea. But while others are arguing whether it will fit or how to plug it in the future since we all have no idea how fast will things going to innovate, I'm thinking that if that baby would care about Bitcoin in the future? Will he be that interested with crypto?? Well it depends if crypto becomes a mainstream about 18 years.

But that's really a great idea though we don't know what will be bitcoin's status after 18-20 years
135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin fail if Satoshi is found? on: January 04, 2020, 01:46:33 PM
I think satoshi being found will not affect bitcoin at all. In fact, what can he do to destroy bitcoin? and why would he destroy bitcoin if he has something that can destroy it? Bitcoin survived 10 years without even us knowing who is the real creator why would it fail if the creator will be unveiled?
It's not about him destroying Bitcoin. It's about how it will affect the price by the sudden appearance of Satoshi. Satoshi created Bitcoin decentralized so basically he can't just control it if he wants to. But Satoshi is a big person in cryptocurrency and it will totally affect bitcoin. Just like how certain news affect bitcoin, Satoshi can also bring either bad or good effect on Bitcoin.
136  Local / Pamilihan / Re: REMINDER from Coins.ph on: January 04, 2020, 12:40:25 PM
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Using Crypto at Gas Stations on: January 04, 2020, 11:25:10 AM
Gas stations usually have signs about should not use phone when at the gas station cause it might cause a big problem. But in reality there's no record of any experience where a fire ignite because of using of phone in gasoline stations but it's like a precaution because it can still happen. So I don't think it will still be advisable to use electronic devices in gasoline stations and this kind of idea of crypto payments in gas stations would be difficult to happen.
138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: South Korea untaxing Investor's Profits on: January 03, 2020, 05:14:58 PM
It's a good news for them. But for sure the Korean government will immediately take actions for that because they can't just let them earn profits without the government getting taxes from it. Maybe the government just let it pass today but this celebration wouldn't last that long. Because they're still obliged to pay taxes. They won't let them escape taxation. Investors should prepare themselves I guess
139  Economy / Economics / Re: Say Goodbye to Banking as We Know It on: January 03, 2020, 03:58:22 PM
Grin How exactly? I don’t think banks are ever going to end. Even if we all switch to cryptocurrency there is still going to be banks and they will be offering some other services like loans. And when I said banks are never going to end, I’m referring to fiat as well. You’ve heard that China is creating their own cryptocurrency but you didn’t ask how it is going to function.

After creating cryptocurrency they are not going destroy fiat, cryptocurrency will serve as another means of payment different from their fiat, and citizens will be able to convert their fiat to cryptocurrency and also be able to sell it for fiat if they want. That’s how I see it.
That's why it's too early to say goodbye to banks. It's not like they're going to end just because China is planning to launch their own cryptocurrency. Crypto will just be included in the circulation but fiat would still remain. China never said they will replace their fiat will crypto and that banks will be gone. People would still prefer banks. Why overhyping much China's digital currency?
140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CHANGE MY MIND: YouTube Did the Right Thing by Booting Crypto "Influencers" on: January 03, 2020, 03:22:04 PM
But they said that some videos about crypto and blockchain that just shows discussion and also give lessons got deleted. So that's unfair for those who just make educational content. Cause if they were really scammers, people who followed them should have already reported it. That's part of youtube's terms and conditions.
Not all crypto account in YouTube are trying to scam people though
