381  Local / Pamilihan / Re: News/Events/Happenings on crypto in one website on: October 26, 2019, 02:45:55 PM
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Asia can be the biggest crypto market on: October 26, 2019, 01:47:31 PM
Yes. It might not be that obvious but a lot of Asian countries were actually into cryptocurrency. Developed Asian countries are also leading when it comes to cryptocurrency. Here in my country, digital currency isn't just for investment. It can also be used for utilities payment such as electrical bills, water bills, telecom bills, even loads, and such. What we need to achieve more is for the government (not only Asian, but also the other countries) to sees it as something helpful and useful.
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Protect Yourself And You Protect Your Assets on: October 26, 2019, 11:58:14 AM
It's okay to tell your friends if your friends are still into cryptocurrency. I mean, you can trust your friends because both of you are into the same thing. In that way you can help each other but not to the point you have to give each others personal account. You still have to secure your accounts and password and all important and confidential details to protect your funds.
384  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price today ! on: October 26, 2019, 05:15:37 AM
It's probably that, and China's president announcing support on blockchain technologies could have gained attention especially from the miners and crypto-people in China. However, I don't think their government support bitcoin in particular, they're gonna make their own cryptocurrency, which I'm not sure how would it affect the prices in few years time. Hopefully, China won't ban bitcoin despite their opposition, because if they would, it would shake the bitcoin network and most probably the market.
Yes they're only supporting blockchain but not bitcoin. The president of China is aiming to create their own cryptocurrency wanting it to be the leading cryptocurrency.
Today it might have caused a positive impact with the price but I don't think it'll last when the Chinese government already established their own digital currency.
385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you waste your time for 5 cents worth of bitcoin? on: October 26, 2019, 03:43:40 AM
Every big value starts from smallest value. Every bit of bitcoin is worthy. You wouldn't be able to collect and earn 1btc if it wasn't for each cents. Actually the work is easy so I wouldn't expect to receive much amount. But of course I wouldn't just stick with that work. It doesn't really take much of your time since all you have to do is to click the button. Why not grab the opportunity
386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Satoshi... on: October 25, 2019, 05:52:01 PM
That's a very wild imagination with that statement op hahaha. What if he's pertaining to it as having no time because he's a busy person. You know, a genius are always busy. Or it could also mean that he has no time to teach each and everyone who doesn't want to belive it. Maybe he doesn't want to force everyone to use it if they don't really want. I think that's what he meant.
You're over thinking about his statement. This ain't a detective thingy that we have to decipher every statement he made.
387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your favorite way to receive money as a gift? Cash or digital.. on: October 25, 2019, 01:18:54 PM
It's a good sign for crypto. But we can't really tell if it's real since there's only around 7,000 voters. It can't be a basis for the popularity of digital currency. And what if among those who voted, most of them are crypto users.
But honestly speaking, if I were to receive a money as a gift, I'd chose cash. Why? Because it's just a small amount of cash. No one would give me big amount of money as a gift. I will chose digital if it's a big amount of course. It's more vulnerable to bring big amount of money everywhere.
388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin May Extinct on: October 25, 2019, 08:02:27 AM

You don't have to worry much about that because it is very unlikely to happened that all government will ban bitcoin. We're aware that some government are positive towards bitcoin. I think op you overthink too much. Even though all government can go against bitcoin, I bet it won't happen.
Who should protect bitcoin? Not the exchanges and not the top holder, but us. Everyone who's into bitcoin is obliged to protect bitcoin. Because you don't want bitcoin, you wouldn't.
389  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin hit a new low since 2018 on: October 25, 2019, 07:15:15 AM
Now some people on the Internet predict that bitcoin will hit a new low since 2018. Is this someone harvesting leeks and alarmist? Historically, there seems to be a similar voice every time prices fall. Our retail investors are reduced to leeks every time.
We can't actually say what will really happen but of course it is still possible. Everything is just a prediction and speculation but let's just prepare ourselves if this actually happens. I don't really think it'll happen sooner but if it does, just look at the brighter side of it. I know it would be frustrating but during its lowest point, you could buy more bitcoin to hold. Because after that, more possible of it surging
390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Satoshi Nakamoto a single person? on: October 25, 2019, 05:08:07 AM
Why do I feel like that it's a group of people. I mean, how can someone created such genius thing all by himself? Or maybe someone helped him and since he's the main proponent, the credit was only for him because they're hiding their identity. Or maybe they're really a group but hiding their identity with the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto for others to think it's a single person? I know this is not a strong argument but in the whitepaper, he says 'we'.
Don't argue with me. It's my gut and own perspective,
391  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Serious Bitcoin Security Warning!!! on: October 25, 2019, 04:13:55 AM
No matter how much others try to improve technology to make our life easier, others will always find a way to use it for their own profit. The purpose is to help people but cons always occur because of others greediness. QR code provides easier access by just scanning it. Less-hassle, but because in today's world, evilness is growing, it cause more fear to everyone. Instead of making things easier, they will just doubt it.
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people easily get scammed on the internet? on: October 25, 2019, 02:10:50 AM
Because there are a lot of people on the Internet who seems to be very vulnerable when it comes to scamming. They know what people wants and they will use it to scam others. Very small example is online selling. A lot of people likes to buy online but some seller are not really legit. They'll attract you and when you already send money to buy their products, no product will come to you. Because not everyone on the internet are all smart users. Not everyone needs to be intelligent about the internet, they just want it for entertainment but others are using their weakness to take advantage of it.
393  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Bounces Back Above $8200, Are Bulls Finally Here? on: October 24, 2019, 12:04:45 PM
Bitcoin is volatile. It does not mean that when it increases, we can say that it's already bull. It doesn't even loook like a bull run. We can't always say it's bull just because the price suddenly increase. It's doesn't even pump that much.
394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Statement against people who say Bitcoin is a Scam on: October 24, 2019, 09:16:48 AM
It's already the stereotype and we can't change every mindset. What we have to do to is to teach them the right thing about bitcoin. Actually, it becomes normal for me to hear their first impression about bitcoin. A lot think that way. It's okay to teach them. But what I hate is that, people thinking something wrong about bitcoin but doesn't want to accept the correct one. I mean, people who don't want to listen and believe you even you're teaching them what bitcoin really is.
395  Economy / Economics / Re: K-POP Company owners are joining the train hype of Cryptocurrency on: October 23, 2019, 04:55:18 PM
This is really new to me. Like cryptocurrency is way to different from KPOP thingy but they're making way just to connect it. I mean, it's a good thing that they're trying to adopt cryptocurrency. It means they're seeing the potential of cryptocurrency. But would it really help for mass adoption? I mean, their fans would give care about this? Or it's just another hype at first but won't really give much impact after. I don't see most fans will be interested about this. A lot of fans were actually still young to be interested.
I want to know the updates about SM Entertainment and their plan with regards to crypto.
396  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: How to get merit? on: October 23, 2019, 04:20:39 PM
Quality and quantity.
397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another *Potential* Identifying Piece of Evidence on Satoshi on: October 23, 2019, 03:33:53 PM
I don't know why I'm seeing this today but I admire the effort trying every number just to look for possible evidences.
Ahh wait. What did he really looked for? Evidence looking for Satoshi or finding how did Theymos become the admin?
Its been years... Have you already found answer to the question? I'm curious tho…
398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this why Bitcoin is crashing? on: October 23, 2019, 02:48:07 PM
The word crashing is just too much to describe the price. It ain't even crashing. Yes it's dropping but it's moving slowly.
Well regardless of the reason why bitcoin's price is decreasing, it's just normal because we all know that bitcoin is volatile. If it's about September (well what's with September why it's a typical bad month?). Or if it's because of Bakkt or not. It's not like we're surprised about the movement of bitcoin.
399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finding Satoshi on: October 23, 2019, 01:46:11 PM
A much more detailed information who Satoshi is compare to other post in this forum, only saying who they think the real Satoshi. Almost everything about Satoshi will just remain as a conspiracy unless he showed himself. Bet this will shock everyone if it happens. But actually, we don't even know if he's a single person, an organization, or a group of people. Don't waste time looking for Satoshi. Let's just wait if he'll reveal himself or not.
