If you want to secure your bitcoin there are two ways to keep safe it.
1. Online wallets.
2. Hardware wallets.

If you chose  number one you have to take some steps for keep safe your bitcoin.
1. Take a very heard password.
2. Keep your password in a very secure place.
3. Don't save your password in online.
4. Activate two step authentication.
5. Don't share your password to any one.

For your help give some trusted wallet links...

I thinj online wallets are not really a good wallet or invulnerable to hackers. There many things that might happen that is why I conclude this statement. You can be fooled by phishing website. You can also lose time when an online wallet has doing maintenance. There are many things that might happen other than these things. I think the better wallet to use are hardware wallets and paper wallets.
582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China plans closing Bitcoin mining. on: July 08, 2018, 12:27:00 PM
Where does this news come from? I mean it is hard to trust some of the statements here in the forum specially those who don't have their sources. Well,  it it is true,  it will make I think a notieceable effect to all the cryptocurrency users but I think it will not be a major problem. There are two things why I have said that.  First is that even though they close bitcoin mining, there are many ways here in bitcoin for us to use it. Another thing is that even they banned, they wouldn't have tracked more if you are in a far place from the city.
583  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Money laundering via BTC on: July 08, 2018, 11:38:54 AM
Yes,  money laundering in bitcoin is absolutely possible.  Some bitcoin user use bitcoin just for their money not to be traced as a money came from illegal activities because they can easily launder it in bitcoin. Well,  if you ask this and if someone say yes you will say bitcoin is a vehicle of criminals,  well that is where I will disagree with you. Please,  do not blame the vehicle,  blame the one who use that vehicle and in this case,  the criminal who do money launder here in bitcoin.
584  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Most Crypto investors are Cowards on: July 08, 2018, 11:05:54 AM
You are wrong on all the things that you have mentioned.  First of all,  they are not cowards,  they are careful. They are just carefully analyzing the situation that is why some do not really invest that high especially on the bad situations. Also,  not all cryptocurrencies investors are cowards,  if that is your term used. Do you know those investors in large mining companies? Those who invest too much money especially the intuitive businessmen? What is even your definition to high investment? My point is,  do not generalize.  It isn't because some do this then all do that.
585  Economy / Speculation / Re: Chinese Investor bought 10,000 bitcoin during the dip! on: July 08, 2018, 01:02:12 AM
https://www.ccn.com/chinese-angel-investor-gathers-10000-bitcoins-during-bear-q1-2018/
There was one Chinese investor who is now trending after he bought 10k bitcoin during the Q1 bear or during the bearish movement at the first quarter of the year. According to the article he was Cai Wensheng the founder of a selfie-app called Meitu which is very popular in China. This man is a good sign that bitcoin really is becoming more attractive to big enterpreneurs across the globe.
Well this is a good news specially for us bitcoin users.  This only means that bitcoin is now recognized worldwide that even big entrepreneurs or businessmen are captured to invest. Well,  investors specifically these Chinese entrepreneurs are very intelligent,  they are update and they know the potential of bitcoin that is why this businessman buy 10k bitcoin. This must be a lesson for us not to be afraid to the volatility bitcoin and be optimistic.
586  Other / Archival / Re: How can Bitcoin helps the world's economic? ✅ on: July 07, 2018, 11:59:52 PM
Some people are asking, "How can Bitcoin helps the world's economic?"

I think this is the right answer. Bitcoin has become a currency for a nation that is currently supporting all kinds of people. Bitcoin has become as an international currency at this point. Once again, technologies help the world to solve its problems. This can raise Bitcoin reputation among economic discussions. And also will give positive mood to Bitcoin markets.

Well I think bitcoin on a larger scale aren't really affect the economy that much that they will see it as a significant factor but rather I think it is much felt by the individuals that are using it. Economical speaking,  many people have changed their lives from maybe poor or middle class to somehow nearing rich socioeconomic status because they have been triumphant. I think, if the economy of a country really accept bitcoin by mentioning and claiming it like what happen to other country,  that is when the effects are noticeable in their economy.
587  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can a goverment trace you have BTC? on: July 07, 2018, 09:11:59 PM
From what I have known, there is only one way for a government to trace your bitcoin.  It is when you have a transaction which have the use of bitcoin and then you cash it out on a payment processing. It requires KYC documents before they let you cash it out, but they would never hack you wallet or something because it is forbidden. Other than this,  there are no ways left because of the decentralization of bitcoin.
588  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto going strong now, where were you during market price fall down? on: July 07, 2018, 01:16:48 PM
Crypto going strong now and i will going to ask you question. Where were you during market price falldown? Investing more crypto? or selling more crypto just because of fear that bitcoin might end? Well if you had sell your crypto better not invest huge amount of money if you will going to be afraid to lose some of it or even all of  your money.
Well I think there many types of investors here that their differences are so much evident in the price fall. The one is the expert,  he utilize the situation and took it as an opportunity to buy some coins, confident that they will gain profit. Others are panic sellers where they sell their coins when the market fall. The last one is those who still hold their bitcoin,  they didn't buy nor sell their bitcoin.
589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some people in crypto still wish the downfall of Bitcoin? on: July 07, 2018, 11:01:26 AM
One thing that really surprises me is how some new projects come into blockchain and start spreading false news and making baseless analysis that bitcoin will fail all in the name of making their own project a success. In crypto, we should accept that bitcoin is the KING and anytime bitcoin falls, all other altcoins also fall. I have read news where people were predicting that bitcoin will go back to 1k and now that bitcoin and other cryptos are down, they are changing their predictions to favour bitcoin. This all proves that their plans backfired and they are beginning to realize that when bitcoin is down, most other alts will be down. All these news we spread rather drive away investors and at the end of the day, we all lose. Why can't we unite and spread good news rather than hate one of our own?
Well,  we cannot control them, that is what they want,  their selfish plans to happen. Maybe they do that because bitcoin hugely dominates the market that is why they think they need to do those thing so that they will also gained money or profit. Well, the problem is that they didn't think about what you have mentioned,  if bitcoin drastically falls,  then they will also fall. But yes,  crypto people must unite so that cryptocurrencies will flourish.
590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why do governments don't make BTC illegal worldwide ? on: July 07, 2018, 10:24:28 AM
I'm wondering this because is such a real threat to bank system and we all know how banks and governments are tightly linked !

BTC could make people more autonomous, self-resilient, being their own bank. You can use it like cash, making your transaction almost untraceable (or untraceable using e.g. monero or dash or laundry systems) : this is governments worst nightmare, isn't it ?

Well, for me it is because countries have different thinking and states. For example,  those countries that banned bitcoin maybe have whispered by the banks to banned it. The countries that legalized and acknowledged bitcoin might know that bitcoin is useful to them that is why they acknowledge it.  Some countries are wise that is why instead of banning it,  they regulate so that they will earn revenue from it. The last one,  there are countries that do not felt bitcoin maybe because of poverty or those who are in the fourth world countries that is why they didn't felt it.
591  Economy / Speculation / Re: Did you buy bitcoin in December 2017? on: July 07, 2018, 09:53:07 AM
It is an undisputed fact that those are affected much by this sudden drop in bitcoin price are those who bought it in December last year when bitcoin was skyrocketing. I understand the emotional trauma you are going through. Nobody will be happy watching his investment losing value like that. I want to encourage you that the downfall of a man is not the end. In June 2017, nobody ever thought of bitcoin hitting $20k by December 2017 and that is the beauty of bitcoin. It takes only minutes for bitcoin price to either rise or fall. Never dump your coin out of fear. Let's keep our fingers  crossed and hope for the best. If you understand that Bitcoin is a long term investment, you wouldn't panic when the price falls within some short period of time. We will all laugh soon
Hmm, yes, what you have mentioned is think is absolutely correct. The most affected people I think are those who do not sell their bitcoin that much in 2017, thinking that it will rise for more. Well,  if you are an expert here in bitcoin,  I think you will never panicking at this point because you even encounter a value lower than the current value. Also,  you will take this situation an opportunity to buy bitcoin so that you can sell it when the price increase.
592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin isn't a legit currency. on: July 01, 2018, 03:18:39 PM
Well even though it is not fully considered as a currency or specifically a digital currency or a cryptocurrency because of the value of it, it isn't really matter. Bitcoin has been successful and what it achieve now is very unexpected. Even though most of the people here didn't use bitcoin as a currency,  we still use it, but as an asset, and for me that doesn't really matter.  What's matter the most is we are using it,  and we are benefiting from it.  Case closed.
593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can actually Bitcoin be good for the environment? on: July 01, 2018, 02:50:50 PM
A lot has been said about mining and about the electricity consumption of the activities related to bitcoin mining. However, I have thought of the alternatives and how other systems produce not just energy waste, but also plenty of useless work and "human waste".

To have a network that can ensure the completeness of transactions, the global accessibility and all the features that bitcoins, and many alts, have at the moment, would probable produce a huge carbon footprint. Just think of the VISA system or the banking system... the amount of people working on it, the waste of commuting to works, the infrastructure.

Thinking of all that, would you still say Bitcoin is bad for the environment?
Hmm I think these things you have mentioned are not really related to being good for environment. Having big electricity consumption of bitcoin does not make it harmful to the environment. Equally, the commuting of the workers for the carbon footprint creation, you cannot really blame them that they are bad contributor for the environment. What if some do cycling?  My point is that your logic seems illogical. Try to see for yourself.
594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a new phenomenal innovation on: July 01, 2018, 02:34:22 PM
Yes, I totally agree that bitcoin is now the new phenomenal innovation. People do. OT even expect that these kind of invention will come,  but yes it is only an innovation.  It only comes from the idea of currencies like fiat but nevertheless, it is a good invention of humans.  These allows us to fully utilize the digital world without boundaries and unlimited possibilities. It even allow us to earn money while we are just with our gadgets considering we are living in the 21st century where technology dominates the world.
596  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think we don't get quality Bitcoin users anymore? on: July 01, 2018, 01:49:26 PM
Maybe I'm wrong but I have the feeling that with Bitcoin price growth we have got a lot of new users who are not honesty and passionate interested in Bitcoin but only in fast, instant profit and if they don't get it they got disappointed and give up. Some of them don't even bother to get some basic knowledge about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general. That is also the reason why we see so much panic selling when the price dumps. Is that only my feeling or do you think that also?
Yeah, I also felt what you have feel with the new comers in the cryptocurrency world. Most of the new users here are just motivated by the certain news in the social media where they hear that bitcoin is very profitable that is why they come here but they only expect instant profit. Yes they are the ones who add to the many panic sellers when the price goes down. Being a newcomer and eyeing for the profit,  some of them are really not knowledgeable with what things are happening here that is why most of them are ending unsuccessfully.
597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Its time to move on, and ignore the BTC !!! on: July 01, 2018, 01:32:21 PM

For me it's clear, from the moment BTC went to the Dow it slide down and be played by the big boys.
More and more we see up's and down's controlled by some big players between 6000 and 7500.
Alt coins are following that vibe, and some step out the line but be pushed in the direction the big players want.
I ask myself who is behind it, are governments behind it that not like the BTC and want it pushed down to get people frustrated.
So frustrated that many of us, get sick and tired of the up line pushed down already few time around 7400.
Ofcourse we are human, and after some push down's, we want to be strong and not give up.
But we also not want to be that person that miss the boot, where the rest break and sell the BTC.
It's almost 12 o clock when this price will go up around 7400 again, and drops down again i see a huge drop coming.
And the faith in going up higher, will be lost more and more. And that is what they want.

So what are you going to do ?   Am I wrong ?      It's massive indoctrination dunn by huge selling dumps.

We have 2 options Guys, let them play with us and let them win.

Or show them that BTC is much stronger then some Jealous scary Government, they need to be stopped.

We can only win this battle if you leave your finger off the Sell button.

Succes gr Bas  sorry for shitty English
I do not really believe in conspiracy theories because some of these theories are just product of imaginary mind of people. I will not ignore or let go bitcoin just because of the downtrend that are happening,  I will even take it as an opportunity to buy some coins so that I will earn money or profit when it goes out. Don't lose hope and try to remember that bitcoin is subject to fluctuating. Be optimistic.
598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin go under regulation on: July 01, 2018, 12:48:32 PM
Many government are seeing Bitcoin or cryptocurrency as a threat to their financial system and they think it should be regulated to solve the problem. Do you think they can regulate Bitcoin ?
Obviously, no,  any government cannot regulate bitcoin used. Even though they will make a law that will control the people in their usage of bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies, they will still find ways to have it. It is a digital entity that is why it is hard for it to be regulated. Also,  government have no reason MN enough and valid reason for them to ban bitcoin because it does not do any harm but it did the entirely opposite. It helps people just like us to earn money while we are in our cellphones.
599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Real life usage of bitcoin on: July 01, 2018, 12:22:44 PM
Don't you think price blast not correlate with its real life usage since its inception?

Its hoarded for speculative purpose but how many major cities in the world have even its ATM?

I mean we all the time correlate its value with fiat currency then buy/take then what's its purpose in my day to day life?

Who will accept it in store when confirmation time is so long.
Well, we cannot make a move to address this problem because the countries' government and the businesses around it to make the ATM that allows bitcoin to happen. Also,  we cannot also really control or do something of the real life use of bitcoin but I think that doesn't really matter.  What matters the most is what we are getting or what bitcoin can do for us. Well in my country, some of the businesses here allows bitcoin as a payment but again,  for me that doesn't matter because bitcoin helps me earn money.
600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC payments in PHILIPPINES on: July 01, 2018, 12:04:38 PM
I've just visit Philippines to have an vacation. I glad to know that Philippines accepting Bitcoin as payments, like Mr. D’s Artisanal Sundries i buy prepared smoked and cured meats, such as bacon or corned beef and i pay BTC Smiley it's so very nice that Philippines is belong to the Cryptoworld  Smiley
Hmm I think that is the good thing about the Philippines.  Even though it is a developing country,  the mere fact that Filipinos are very active in the digital world makes them easily adapt to the crypto world. Philippines, before,  are the most active nationality in messaging. They are very active that is why most of them are aware on what is happening in the digital world. Maybe some are fooled,  but majority of Filipinos are literate not just in the digital world but also with regard to cryptocurrencies. I am a Filipino but I considered myself as literate in this field. I think time is the only thing that is needed for Luther businesses here to adapt cryptocurrencies as a payment or in transactions.
