841  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: December 23, 2017, 03:22:06 AM
Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?
I think it can be replaced someday but I don't think it would be easy knowing that bitcoin has already gained much respect from the people because of the things it has done. Maybe bitcoin will loose its popularity and power someday but the mark it has left to the history will surely remain no matter what. No on can predict what may happen in the future and maybe bitcoin will never ever be replaced and will be part of our living.
842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can I protect my self from being hack of bitcoin on: December 23, 2017, 02:44:29 AM
Just yesterday I come across one youtuber where he says
he just wake up and saw his 50 btc was vanish from his exodus wallet  and also before that another 20 btc was vanish
he says he dont even know how this happen.

pls how can I escape this.
You can protect yourself from being hacked by being careful on choosing which wallet you are going to use in storing your bitcoin. Lack of carefulness will surely end up on being hacked which will make you loss your money. If you don't want to be hacked then you should atleast be smart and careful on whom you are going to trust. Avoid getting into some untrusted transaction also because that can also lead to scam and being hacked.
843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Worried about btc future on: December 23, 2017, 02:04:28 AM
I see a lot of optimism about bitcoin, which is understandable seeing the price recently.
But I have to admit I'm a little worried about the long term future of btc.
The major problems if the currency still haven't been dealt with. I see 2 major ones:

-Block size. Which makes the delay and fees of transaction rise very fast. Smaller transactions are more and more difficult to make.
-The centralization of the market. China got low cost electricity, which make them by far the most bitcoin mining capable.
-And maybe others that I'm not aware of.

Another thing: The Hard forks that are oddly getting much more frequent than before. (BCH, BTG, Segwitx2 etc...) It almost looks like "attacks" in order to divide us. Now called "airdrops" by the community. Even though they're supposed to solve some of the problems.

All in all, this makes me really worried about btc future. I've been a strong holder since 2014, and I made quite a lot of money with bitcoins, but I begin to doubt now, even though the price is crushing ATM. Please help me keeping faith. Or should I switch to another currency ? Really thinking about ETH recently.
Behind all the optimism lies all the worries we have for bitcoin. We can not disregard the fact that we can not avoid the bad things happening in bitcoin. No matter what good deeds it is showing to us right now, time will still come wherein it will be down and things would go wrong. We should prepare already for those crisis so that we wouldn't broken when the time comes.
844  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is not gambling on: December 17, 2017, 01:03:26 AM
I don't know why people say bitcoin is gambling. Its not gambling. You are investing your money and time. You use your internet. So its not gambling dealing with it.
Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency which is being used in gambling and that doesn't make it clear to say that bitcoin is a gambling instead it is the one that is being used in gambling. We are all aware that bitcoin ever since has been used in many ways due to its volatility. Earning in bitcoin is both risky as gambling. You don't know if you will always be successful that's why it is important that you're ready for any possibility.
845  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: December 16, 2017, 11:38:01 PM
Hi guys Smiley May I know what are your plans on your Bitcoin in the future? Do you plan to keep on investing on Bitcoin related businesses or do plan to convert it into fiat and ventures on new business?

I'm planning to invest more on Bitcoin related companies and convert some of my Bitcoin into fiat and invest it on our local stock market. How about you?
I have many plans for my bitcoin. First, I would try making it grow as large as possible and then start up a business. Then, some of it will be allocated for some investments to make sure that I will still have enough money to keep my business going. Some if it will be saved in the bank for some future purposes in case there is a trouble occuring in it. It is not easy to earn bitcoin that's why it is a must that you plan well what you are going to do.
846  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin now the strongest currency in the world? on: December 11, 2017, 07:31:42 AM
After the events of last week.

I was making this suggestion to some folks yesterday, but they claimed that bitcoin is too small.  Does it matter?
I don't think we can already conclude that bitcoin is the strongest currency in the world right now since it is not yet even legalized yet at all the countries in the world. The value of it may be strong but the appeal of it is not that built much yet because some goverment in a certain countries does not acknowledge bitcoin that much yet. We can hope for the best and keep on supporting and by that we can help bitcoin become the strongest currency living.
847  Economy / Economics / Re: Legalizing Bitcoin on: December 10, 2017, 03:51:59 PM
So in the most countries, bitcoin is neither declared legal or illegal. In some it is declared illegal and some are actually allowing it and also promoting their own alts.
So what would a government needs to do to regulate bitcoin in the country? And how can a government actually benefit from legalizing bitcoin in the country? How can it actually support the economic system of the country.
Many of us are waiting for bitcoin to get legalized all over the world but before that we should consider first the negative effects it may bring to all of us. Bitcoin is not yet legalize throughout the world today because it is still innovating so that trouble will be avoided in the future. The government should regulate the use of blockchain technology within every banks so that we won't have a hard time adjusting as the way we hold money make its transition.
848  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: December 10, 2017, 03:17:13 PM
For some reasons it can but if we are going to include everyone in the world in the solution of poverty. We should consider the fact that bitcoin is not yet legal all over the world and there are even some countries that banned bitcoin within their are making it more difficult to use bitcoin as an instrument to end poverty. We can not fully rely on bitcoin about the solution of world poverty instead we should just change our mindset on how we see things.
849  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for the bitcoin to lose it's value ? on: December 10, 2017, 02:28:13 PM
Hi , I'm new so basically I still have a lot to learn about the cryptocurrency , but I would like to know if it would be possible for the bitcoin to start the downfall ? I mean like what scenario can happen that the bitcoin would be pushed back like 5-6 years ?
Sorry if my post is in the wrong place or it's not relevant.
I don't think so. The value of bitcoin is too expensive already and it would take up a very long time before the value of bitcoin will totally loose its value. It may be hard to imagine that it will lose its value but that may happen if a big crisis occured between bitcoin and the government. Although governments are the one that runs the world system, bitcoin's potential and power can still defeat it considering the fact that most of the people will support bitcoin than the government.
850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: December 10, 2017, 11:37:01 AM
What would you do when you're talking to someone but then he suddenly talks about his hatred on Bitcoin, what would you react to it?

I've never actually experienced anything like this before, I just want to be prepared when it happened to me.
Nothing. You don't need to do anything or to convince them to turn their beliefs on bitcoin. They don't know what they are missing out on what they are doing and it wouldn't even be a loss for us who does bitcoin. Bitcoin has many good features that's why I don't get it on why someone would hate bitcoin. Maybe they have their reasons but I hope that it is acceptable.
851  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I Wait or Invest On Bitcoin? on: December 05, 2017, 02:44:24 AM
I am newbie on bitcoin, recently introduced with the community. I have seen a lot of positive feedback about bitcoin investment. I am not interested do business or trade on market. I want to used it for long term investment only. Some people suggested me anytime is good for invest on bitcoin but I want to do it wisely. If you have some idea of the market and analysis kindly do it for me.
You should not wait anymore because time is very important here in bitcoin. The chances that you will miss will surely make you feel the regret of not investing in bitcoin as soon as you can. Many people are already investing on bitcoin and I think it is a better idea to start investing on bitcoin while you are still young so that you may gain the benefits as you grow older. Investments in bitcoin brings you great money so you should not miss it.
852  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Should I Choose Bitcoin ?? on: November 27, 2017, 02:50:07 PM
Why Should I Choose Bitcoin ??
It's the first question one should face while starting to deal in bitcoins and answer this will satisfies you to choose bitcoin over others. Some of the benefits that Bitcoin have over other includes :

3-International installments – Bitcoin is used all over the globe; e-commerce sellers and service suppliers can easily agree to take international payments. Which uncovered new potential commercial centers for them.
4-Information is secure – As we have seen with late hacks on general retailers’ disbursement processing systems, the Internet is not generally a secure place for private information. With Bitcoin, clients don’t surrender private data.

There are already some few countries who legalized bitcoin while some banned it within their nation. They all have their reasons behind their actions so we cannot simply judge them by what we're seeing. The legalization of bitcoin may bring good benefits for the many but we should also consider the consequences of it. There's no such thing as wholesome goodness, everything has its bad side and the same goes with bitcoin.
854  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin survive? on: November 27, 2017, 12:52:16 PM
After there is a BCC can the bitcoin survive or bitcoin will be much more up the price after this
What do you think about this?
Based on what I'm seeing now, I can conclude that bitcoin has the capability to survive because as we've all witnessed, bitcoin has gotten into some serious problems this year but look at bitcoin right now, the value has risen so much than what is expected. What more in the coming years, bitcoin will surely continue to surprise us as it continues to dominate and surpass all the obstacles that's getting on its way.

Well in my opinion, you should not wait anymore because the more the time passes by, the more the money you will loose. You should start investing right away most specially right now that the value of bitcoin is improving a lot which can benefit you as soon as you started investing here. It may be risky but it's all part of the game. You have to risk so that you may gain more profit and that's a rule here in bitcoin.
856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is It advisable to quit my present job for bitcoin? on: November 27, 2017, 12:09:34 PM
Bitcoin trading these days has become so rucreative that I am tempted to quit my present job which is not giving me enough time to explore more out of bitcoin world...

What's your take on this, should I go ahead and quit?

Thanks
I don't think that's a good idea. Even bitcoin is in a pretty good shape today, there are still some few possibilities that a crisis would occur which can surely affect you a lot if you are just fully depending on bitcoin. Having a real job would be so much necessary since it is also a way to secure your future from any further trouble. You can never fully depend on bitcoin unless it is already proclaimed as a legal currency of the world.
857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The advantages of bitcoin on: November 27, 2017, 11:34:11 AM
For me, Bitcoin has many advantages, one advantage is it gives to the individual money to sustain the basic needs, It also reduce the increasing number of unemployed in some countries, The people who work in bitcoin develops the ability to reason out, enhanced the English proficiency, that's the some advantage of bitcoin.
I agree. Having bitcoin is one of the best thing you can have nowadays. It can bring you a lot of convenince which will surely affect some of your monetary aspects. But still, the important thing here is that you should know how to use bitcoin properly so that you can fully benefit from it. The value of it is something that you should be watching over with since the changes in the market affects your profit the most.
858  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: November 19, 2017, 05:48:54 AM
Unity is much needed if we are aiming to end world poverty. If people in the world will keep on making war and being corrupt or greedy, then there's no chances that world poverty will come to an end even with the help of bitcoin. There's no assurance also that people will really use it as a tool to end world poverty. Some countries are even banning bitcoin and they think bitcoin would not help in this matter.
859  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin Volatility Be Controlled? on: November 19, 2017, 04:49:20 AM
I have read some posts and some concerns that it is the volatility of Bitcoin that is preventing many people and many businesses to fully adopt Bitcoin. This can be the main factor why big online shopping stores are not yet adding Bitcoin into their payment facilities (though there is now a circulated petition for this but I doubt if it can make a dent).

Some are really saying that if volatility can be managed then we can see Bitcoin going mainstream. I am wondering then: Is volatility something that we should find a way to control and how do you think it can be done?
I don't think so. Bitcoin's volatility has been there from the very beginning. Another thing is bitcoin is decentralized so the change will surely occur and it will never be constant. Bitcoin's volatility is also one of the main reason why many investors are here. We may be a factor that may affect the volatility of bitcoin but controlling it is not a thing we can do. We should just keep on supporting bitcoin so the value will continue to rise.
860  Economy / Economics / Re: what is the future of Bitcoin ? on: November 18, 2017, 02:20:41 PM
According to different Statistics the Future of this virtual currency is so much brighter than others currency and people will find very easy to deal with every thing through bitcoin. some Reasons are really very fruitful for economical development such as
1.In future buying bitcoin is more easier than past condition  ad people can complete so many task very easily.
2.most of company use bitcoin as a local currency that helps to regulate bitcoin like regular currency and more company will interest for using this currency(bitcoin)
3.international client are more visible if this currency will use globally.
4.in future if government use the protocol then cyrpto-currency will protected and people feel safe for using this currency.

We are all still clueless on the things that may happen with bitcoin in the future. One thing is for sure with bitcoin, things will get more better than it was since the innovations in bitcoin are still ongoing and it never stops. We can all see now that bitcoin has a bright future ahead since it is gaining much popularity and credits nowadays. As days and years passes by, the influence and use of bitcoin is improving so maybe somewhere in the future, it will be proclaimed as the world currency.
