401  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC, why do some people just get it, others really don't? on: October 22, 2019, 05:08:08 PM
Some are just not capable of understanding the nature of bitcoin. Like people who are not techy, older people, and some people in the places who lack innovation and development. Some are not just as interested to learn bitcoin. The point here is just, not everyone are interested about bitcoin. Just because we're interested, others should too.
402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's acceptance in the World on: October 22, 2019, 04:22:59 PM
It's based on the entities on how are they going to handle their profit. They could just convert it as soon they receive the payment to avoid losing profit.
Bitcoin can be accepted globally but it still depends on the entity, especially those bigger company if they're going to adopt bitcoin as payment method when crypto is not even in the nature of their business. It may be a big risk for every entity but bitcoin can be their other investment for them to gain more profit.
403  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat currencies on: October 22, 2019, 01:48:22 PM
Maybe because US dollars are leading in the foreign exchange market. And is the most traded currency, not only locally but also internationally. Although euro is popular along with dollars, it is still the most popular. According to what I have researcher, euro being the second closest reserve currency was damaged due to eurozone crisis. Dollars is leading so far compare to euro.
404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: He's thankful he found "Bitcoin" on: October 21, 2019, 02:39:52 PM
Sorry that I find it funny as well. Believing it was btc. Also the replies "sorry for your loss" had me laughing. we'll end up in a conclusion that we should really study first what we're going into before making action to avoid these kind of happenings. I bet he already learned his lesson.
Though it would be better if stan twitter should've taught him, yet they just laugh at him. I know it's funny but they should have educate him after laughing.
405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of digital money depends on smart phone technology and people's knowledge on: October 21, 2019, 02:02:46 PM
No doubt about it. We still need more recognition from people and let them have a knowledge about bitcoin and cryptocurrency. A government also plays a big role in order to achieve mass adoption. If the government agrees to blockchain technology, it would've been taught in the tertiary level since it'[s part of the development of technology. If the demand with crypto increases, smartphones will adjust to it.
406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Friendly City on: October 21, 2019, 09:56:12 AM
Well i never expected my country or even my city be part of the list although my country being crypto-friendly. But it's surprising that some places who I don't see much giving noise about bitcoin were actually part of the ranking and one of the places who are crypto friendly. Actually those countries were already developed unlike my country who's in the third world... Good list though
407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Still Better than US Dollar? on: October 21, 2019, 07:03:06 AM
Better in terms of what? Both of them can be better at different factors. Actually, they're still different from each other. Although we're seeing the bad side of fiat, people still rely more on paper money. Bitcoin still need more recognition. We can't deny that we still need to go further than what bitcoin have reached. Although how much the government would manipulate fiat, paper money will still remain circulating. Both of them can function together.
408  Economy / Economics / Re: Limited Supplies Lead To Death (SIMULATION) Satoshi Help. on: October 21, 2019, 05:46:11 AM
I don't know but I can't watch the video. It says that the video is private. I just hope you added information about the video and what you wanted to point out in the whole video. But based on your title, everything is limited. Paper money, gold, and bitcoin. It just the matter of value. Since it's limited, their value depends on the demand to supply every needs. It may seems to be a lot of supplies but it's still limited.
409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: From financial debt to financial stability- thanks to bitcoin on: October 21, 2019, 03:05:59 AM
It's great that I've read a lot stories here how bitcoin helped them change their lives. Bitcoin truly is very helpful. I still don't have a life changing experience that I can share just like op. But I can say that with bitcoin, I learned a lot. I can buy my necessities and wants (of course I have to work for it) because of bitcoin. This is really a great experience, earning and at the same time, learning.
410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Forum and Satoshi on: October 20, 2019, 04:26:14 PM
We've tackled this a lot in the forum and almost everyone agrees that Satoshi is not Craig Wright. So we don't have to argue about cause almost everyone think the same. Well unless you really want to fight that he's the real Satoshi.
Why would someone who decided to hide his identity in the very beginning, suddenly reveals himself? He obviously just want some attention! Well, Satoshi doesn't want attention that's why he hide his identity.
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect your crypto before death? on: October 20, 2019, 03:38:12 PM
Just make sure to tell you family or someone you fully trusted about your accounts and password. It's okay to be prepared cause we never know when will our time comes. Also make sure they know what is crypto and how it works. Save everything in your pc so they could just open it. They have the access incase something bad happens.
412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The use of Bitcoin on: October 20, 2019, 01:14:14 PM
As of today, others may not see bitcoin that useful but in the future, they'll be able to recognize what it can do to help them. Bitcoin doesn't have to replace fiat when it's been legalized. You know how gold works today? It has a value, it can be an asset but it does not mean gold are being used by children and adult to buy at a store. Bitcoin can work like that, but the difference is that bitcoin is digital.
413  Local / Pilipinas / Re: ( WAGI )Blockchain-based anti-counterfiet drugs gawa ng Pinoy on: October 20, 2019, 11:30:47 AM
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If You Died Tomorrow, What Would Happen To Your Crypto? on: October 20, 2019, 10:18:42 AM
Circumstances may happen suddenly so we should always be prepared of it. We're all going to die so if ever I will die tomorrow (I hope not), I have my family who can handle and manage what I have left in this earth. Everything is in my pc, accounts, password and etc. and they can just access it. It's better to let people whom you trust the most, know about these stuffs but not to disclose everything to others. Only to your family and you know you can trust.
415  Economy / Economics / Re: Paper Money - The Greatest Scam on: October 20, 2019, 08:44:37 AM
Well actually money is a great creation. In the earliest days, bartering were already there in order to trade with others what they have to what they don't have.  Then it evolves to different means of trading. Paper Money was created to lessen the hassle bringing heavy golds which later were being regulated by central banks. I believe that inflation is normal that's why banks need to monitor the printing of money in order to avoid higher inflation.
Crypto is an other form created to fill what is lacking with paper money. But I don't see paper money as a scam because it's the people who scam others not the money. They're just scamming others for money but it's not money's fault.
416  Economy / Economics / Re: INFLATION IN THE UNDERDEVELOPED COUNTRIES on: October 19, 2019, 03:32:38 PM
A lot of third world country are actually rich with natural resources. I just think that the government don't handle it very well. I mean in my country, the Philippines, we're rich when it comes to natural resources but other countries (developed countries) are more likely benefitting from it than local people. Those people who live in provinces have a lot of natural resources in their place yet they're the one struggling to survive their everyday lives. Instead of maximizing what our country have, other tends to benefit more. They focus a lot on exporting and importing. They export what we have, and import things from other country. Where we could just prioritize what our own country offers.
417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for the World and Community on: October 19, 2019, 02:53:10 PM
What do you obesrve in the world today?
What is the advantage of the world today from the world yesterday?
Inovation is good but sometimes there is a disadvantage.
Do we have world peace? When bitcoin is invented what is the help of bitcoin in the world? I made this thread for the members to comeup with something that can help the world or the communities as a whole. Not for their own interest only. What do you guys think about bitcoin and the environment can we help the environment with bitcoin? Can we help poor people using bitcoin? Can we help poor communities using bitcoin.? I'm searching for much higher cause of cryptocurrency than just medium of trade or source of income. Maybe it can be bigger and greater. Maybe bitcointalk community can help.
The first question is very broad, so what I can answer is that it's a mess. Day by day, there's always new development and innovation and I think that's the advantage. World peace? Just like my first answer, it's a mess. Bitcoin is a part of globalization. It makes it easier for everyone to transact with people even from a far. Actually, there's already donations and charity to help people where they accept crypto. But what I've always wanted, is something for the environment. I don't know if there's existing. But it would be great to develop more charities that aims to help people across the world and the environment as well.
418  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Resources Para Matuto sa English Language on: October 19, 2019, 02:09:03 PM
Kagaya nga ng sinuggest ng iba, malaki ang naitutulong ng Grammarly sa akin. Nung una, nakikita ko lang 'to na ad sa YouTube then naging interested ako so I tried using it and sobrang helpful nya lalo na pag premium.

Actually considering countries here in Asia, Philippines is one of the top countries na proficient sa English. According sa research ko, in 2018, Philippines was second in the ranking, next to Singapore.
419  Economy / Economics / Re: Central Bank: If The Entire System Collapses, Gold Will Be Needed To Start Over on: October 19, 2019, 01:15:36 PM
If Central Bank collapses and fiat and paper cash loses it value, it is most likely that gold and other natural resources will be used. Since it is from the nature, it doesn't lose its value and are more stable. Just like what happened in Germany after world war one when they have hyperinflation and their currency loses its value, their way of paying other country for their debt is through gold and coal. People also start buying foreign currency since their currency loses its value.
