21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is getting more adopted in my Country on: February 19, 2020, 12:24:39 AM
In my country, I've heard that there's already a Bitcoin ATM however I haven't really seen one in person. When I first heard about this similar news, I got excited and happy at the same time because I can see that Bitcoin is starting to gain attention here in my country. But after some time, I don't know if the number of bitcoin ATM increases.
Overall, it's a slow step towards mass adoption. I'm just glad that cryptocurrency is slowly gaining attention here in my country and they're trying to give crypto a place here.
22  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin good for the economy? on: February 18, 2020, 10:32:18 PM
I don't get the main point of this but bitcoin is indeed good for the economy if it's being used in a proper way. Having Bitcoin circulating in an economy is good enough but it's a subjective answer depending on the person if they find bitcoin useful. For me Bitcoin is useful and it's a good contribution to the economy. I also agree that Bitcoin have meet some criteria for it to be considered as a currency but one thing I've noticed is the statement about Bitcoin being hard to earn. If you will think of it, bitcoin isn't that hard to earn. You just need to invest or work for it and it's the same for paper money. But if you look on the other side, both bitcoin and paper money are hard to earn. You can't just gain it without putting efforts. However in general, Bitcoin itself isn't hard to acquire if you want to.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mail Bombing in exchange of Bitcoin on: February 18, 2020, 12:02:40 PM
Didn't expect that some people would really go this low just to ask for free bitcoins. I know some people would do anything just for money but asking them Bitcoin, I don't see any reason for the police government to give him what he wants. But if I were him, I won't do that kind of act because it's useless. If he keeps on bombing mails then he'll just end up getting caught.

I opened the thread expecting something slightly different, thought you were offering bombing services which made me go WTF? I was thankfully wrong hah
Lol. The title could also be interpreted in other ways. But you're right, thankfully not what you're expecting.
24  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold vs. U.S. dollar on: February 16, 2020, 04:48:01 AM
Why would you compare the two? I mean yes, they both have value but when it comes to value, I don't think dollars can surpass and beat gold. Because dollars are being issued by the government, so if their economy weakens then the same for their currency. But with gold, it's a natural resources that won't lose its value. Unlike paper money, gold won't depreciate because it will always have a value. The supply of paper money depends on the circulation but the supply of gold are just limited so in the future it will be harder to mine gold. But money like usd, they can just print if they need to.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Earn Bitcoin in 2020 on: February 16, 2020, 03:46:12 AM
Playing at crypto casinos is a way to earn, I didn't know that somebody considered gambling in this sense. How can online gaming platform be used for making profit? It isn't reliable.
It's an option. You can really earn with gambling but it's a risk. Higher risk, higher profit. Although it's not really recommendable if you just want to earn and if you're not ready to risk your money but in gambling you can still earn so maybe that's the reason why gambling is included. I don't consider it as a 'work' to earn but a game and entertainment and at the same time you can earn.

Well I've seen a lot of related topics here, giving list how to earn Bitcoin and almost are just the same so it's not new. But this can still be helpful for beginners.
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming Industry and Cryptocurrency! on: February 15, 2020, 01:13:50 PM
Looks like this gaming industry and cryptocurrency have some chemistry. As a gamer I personally like cryptocurrency since I'm aware of it, I would love to have this kind of idea and probably going to play this cryptocurrency games that look so challenging also it would be great if you could also earn cryptocurrency in the game probably some kind of gambling game.

Minecraft treasure hunt server would be fun to play I don't know if the game main goal is to find bitcoin or you could also just play for fun. But having this bitcoin in the game would be entertaining and could boost gamers to play.
Indeed. Cryptocurrency and gambling is such a good combination. You can play different games and at the same time you can earn. That's why it's undeniable that a lot of crypto enthusiast are also into gambling. Though we also know that gambling can lead us to great loss of money. But it's a risk we make so we should also be prepare about losing.

And as for Minecraft with Bitcoin, that's really new and exciting and I guess you can really earn Bitcoin because it is said that you have to deposit first. So I guess you can really earn. And it's like you're mining while playing which is cool.
27  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Students on Bitcoin or Cryptocurrency on: February 15, 2020, 11:45:07 AM
How can I start earning with doing some services or having jobs with cryptocurrency without asking the rank? but instead it's willingness at pagiging seryoso dito.
Siguro kung willing ka din naman talaga, you'll make efforts para mapataas rank mo dito sa forum. Kung gusto mo lang naman. Pero isang option din kasi yan kung san pwede ka kumita. You'll just have to work hard para mapataas yung rank mo. Tsaka don't aim na makakaipon ka kaagad ng madaming Bitcoin kasi it takes time unless mag invest ka. Mag start talaga yan sa maliit then pag nagsipag dadami at dadami yan. Madaming ways para kumita pero wag na maging choosy kung gusto mo talaga kumita. Kung kaya gawin habang nag aaral, go lang.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PEOPLE WILL NEVER STOP FALLING FOR SCAM on: February 15, 2020, 10:30:48 AM
It's their fault already if they keep on getting scammed because they won't listen. You're already there trying to help them yet they're being so hard headed and keep on deciding on their own even though they don't know much. It's their loss after all. Scammers will always be there so educating others especially newbies will help them learn to avoid scammers yet if they don't want to be taught, then it's their fault.
29  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Pagbabayad ng buwis gamit ang bitcoin on: February 15, 2020, 06:09:29 AM
Though kahit hindi naman against ang gobyerno ng Pilipinas sa paglaki ng cryptocurrency population dito sa bansa, it would be ironic for them to accept tax payment using Bitcoin.
30  Economy / Economics / Re: What will be the affect of Valentine day on Bitcoin Price on: February 15, 2020, 05:18:36 AM
Not everyone is celebrating Valentines and I don't really think it affects Bitcoin price. There's other reason of the increase but not really nor directly related to Valentine's Day at all. Valentines is more on buying chocolates, flowers and gifts so I can't really find the correlation between the two.  Unless most of us were using Bitcoin or crypto on buying those gifts, but no. I can't really say that it's because of Valentines because for the past days and weeks, bitcoin's price is increasing and it just happened that it also increase the same day with Valentines.
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Happy Bitcoin Valentine's Day! on: February 15, 2020, 04:25:02 AM
That's too much love and effort! But if you'll do it here in my country, I think they'll just throw the paper you will give or might not accept it. They might think it's a scam or not. Cause who would even give money to random people passing by. And it's not just a simple money like fiat because it's Bitcoin. And besides not everyone know about it so they might just think it's a scam. But I really appreciate the effort for that! Since Valentines had already pass, how was it? Kinda late but Happy Valentine's Day to everyone
32  Economy / Economics / Re: How a Global Epidemic is helping counties see the bigger picture on: February 14, 2020, 06:41:00 AM
I think this is the only good thing the Virus is doing.
What do you guys think ? Is this something that might show us the path of global Peace ? .
No. We're not even closer to world peace. And a virus doesn't have a good thing that brought us. Because I believe helping other countries were already part of being a part of United Nations. Countries need to be friend with other for alliance and in order to do that, they need to help each other. And I think that's normal for a country to help other country in need. But that's not even a big move for global peace. And I doubt that we can achieve global peace where every country is united.

And you know why other countries are helping China, it's because it's not the government they are fighting, it's the virus.

34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CHINA NEED PRAYERS AND NOT BITCOIN on: February 13, 2020, 05:15:25 AM
Indeed we should pray for China instead of laughing and making things a meme. But do you think they don't need donation just because they are a rich country? Prayers, yeah. That's our beliefs but do you think prayer is enough when no one takes action? Of course we can pray for them but they also need help in terms of necessities. Food and all basic need those people from Wuhan need because they can't properly leave their houses and the lock down of their place, China already spend so much money building facility for days. And as far as I know my country donated face masks in China because it's out of stock, so you think they don't need donation? I doubt that. Even for their research they also need fund.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can save some people's lives :-> on: February 13, 2020, 02:16:50 AM
But how about those who work as a delivery man? If most of them are just buying food online? I don't know whether to consider it something that can save lives because definitely in a situation like in Wuhan necessities will get out of stock and most people there would just choose to stay home than to work. Stocks in Wuhan will really go down and even if they order through online, they can't buy things outside Wuhan because of the lock down. And of course not all stores in Wuhan accept online transaction.  I think they'll either have to buy on themselves to make sure they find foods or be likely to depend on the government for their necessities.
36  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the strangest Fiat currency you have seen? on: February 13, 2020, 12:22:44 AM
It's not an official currency in our country (Philippines) but a certain group issued their own currency and printed their own money. It is not being recognized by the central bank of the Philippines. It's already weird to create their own currency but what's weirded is that in their paper money, it has the face of their queen! The Philippines doesn't have a queen because the Philippines is republic and we only have presidential form of government. Imagine a monarchy system and a queen in a republic and democratic country. That's definitely weird.
37  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: KINGDOM FILIPINA HACIENDA MONEY on: February 12, 2020, 02:28:06 AM
Bakit naman magkakaroon ng reyna ang Pilipinas? Sabagay nasa paniniwala natin yan.

39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ETH] I was scammed on Youtube. What to do? on: February 09, 2020, 11:49:48 AM
You should report those kind of stuff on YouTube so they can't scam other people again. This is one of the reason why Youtube had an issue about deleting crypto related videos. Because it's part of their terms and policies. Youtube cannot distinguish every video if it's trying to scam other users that's why it should be a lesson to you not to trust easily even if it looks real. Because a scammer wouldn't let others to notice they are not real. They'll make efforts just to make it real. Scammers are good at that.
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Charity Fight Coronavirus on: February 09, 2020, 06:07:26 AM
I like the idea of how various groups team up to donate and help the medical groups in China.
I dont think that china needs funding it is 13 trillion dollar economy and it does not have funds for medical supplies , if the funding was for , WHO or research for developing vaccines that would be making sense
Why would they not need the fund? China might be a big and powerful country but they also need help. In China, face masks are out of stock. The population in China is so big and imagine how many people need to use face masks everyday, so they'll be needing it to supply everyone face masks. That's just one example, and they would really need fund. They have already spend some of their fund to build the hospital or facility for those who will be affected by the virus.
