441  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Stress and Happiness on: October 15, 2019, 09:32:47 AM
How do you manage any possible stress coming from Bitcoin's volatility?
What gives you happiness are the one that can also give you stress. And I believe that it is just normal for us to experience stress due to the volatility of bitcoin. But how do I cope up with stress? Proper emotional management. Negativity won't do us anything good that's why it's better to think something positive. If the value decreases, think of how can you take advantage of it
442  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is controlled not just manipulated but controlled on: October 15, 2019, 02:45:28 AM
Based on your title, control and manipulate is somehow similar with each other. When someone manipulated bitcoin's price, it means rhey can control it. So it's just the same. But how did you come up with that statement? Where's the proof to prove youe point?
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you sell your entire crypto right now with 500 percent profit? on: October 14, 2019, 03:26:23 PM
Not to be hypocrite but yes, I would definitely sell my bitcoin if I'll gain 500 percent profit. Who wouldn't?? It's already a win-win situation. That's a lot of profit. But of course I wouldn't stop and won't come back with cryptocurrency. I would still continue engaging myself here. If that time comes, it only shows that bitcoin is getting stronger so why would I leave bitcoin?
444  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Small-time tech shops accept Bitcoin as payment on: October 14, 2019, 12:51:35 PM
445  Local / Pamilihan / Re: PSA: You can buy from Shopee using Bitcoin on: October 14, 2019, 07:59:03 AM
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra partner drop out on: October 14, 2019, 06:15:54 AM
Although Libra came from a huge company, it doesn't really give much impact to the market unlike other coins such bitcoin. It only made noise when the news about Facebook creating a coin, pop up and when it started but it didn't last for long perhaps because it is centralized. It's a big loss to Libra, but it's up to them whether they'll continue Libra or not, it's not a loss for Facebook if Libra would stop
447  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat Money Losing Worth, Bitcoin and Gold Getting Important on: October 14, 2019, 04:16:42 AM
Inflation is increasing but not necessarily means that fiat is losing worth. Bitcoin is slowly achieving main stream which is good. People are recognizing its worth and becoming more valuable to a lot of people. But we still end up converting our bitcoin and other crypto into cash for everyday use so it's still valuable
448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 8 Ways to Make Money with Bitcoin in 2020 on: October 13, 2019, 04:03:45 PM
I don't know whether you just wanted to promote the video or not 'cause you could've just include it here in your thread. But anyways, the things you have mentioned, mining, faucets, website, micro job, gaming, holding, trading, bitcoin affiliates, it is indeed some ways to earn bitcoin but I bet almost everyone knew about them already. Most of us have been doing that already (maybe not everything, but at least one) because we're all aiming to earn money. Earning bitcoin is not easy, it needs a lot of investment (intangible or monetary investment)
449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if you can have a dinner with Mr Satoshi on: October 13, 2019, 01:51:32 PM
It would be an honor to have a dinner with Mr. Satoshi. Imagine, he's been hiding his identity and I would given a chance to eat with him although it would feel like a bit intimidating seeing a genius person in front of you. But with regards to the topic, maybe I will ask him like how he started bitcoin, what gives him the initiative for it and what is the reason for hiding his identity to the public.

And the rest is... I don't know. I might not be able to ask him these questions because I would be in awe, by just seeing him in person
450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why it is important to lose Bitcoin to an incorrect wallet address on: October 12, 2019, 11:36:01 AM
But it's more fulfilling if we haven't experienced losing bitcoin to an incorrent wallet address right? Rather than experiencing it. But of course a lot of us have already experienced that. It's really frustrating and disappointing to our part if we lost btc especially when it's a big amount.
But it's not as important as it is to lose bitcoin. If something is so important and valuable, we should always double check the address for us not to make mistakes. We've worked hard for our bitcoin and then we'll just lose it that fast. It's a life lesson to always be careful in sending bitcoin.
451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What have you done to promote the Blockchain technology & cryptocurrencies? on: October 12, 2019, 10:36:34 AM
I'm not a famous or influential person so the least I could do is mostly promoting it through social medias by sharing posts, articles and such that is related to cryptocurrency and bitcoin where my friends and followers could see. I've been also introducing it a lot with my colleagues and acquaintance. Using them as a topic for academic purposes like research. We've done this before but we have to change topic because it's difficult to find related studies. Though my prof find it interesting...
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect your token's on: October 12, 2019, 06:31:35 AM
Indeed there's a lot of cases now saying they got scammed or they lost it that's why we should always secure our accounts and keys. Since we're in the digital era, it's more prone to such things since it's easier for people to find ways to scam other people. Make sure not to disclose your passwords with anyone especially when you don't trust that person. Also another precaution is to avoid using public internet cafes when accessing your account. It's more risky and vulnerable for theft and hacks. It's better to use your own pc, laptop, or phone.
454  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BLOCKCHAIN IN THE FUTURE on: October 12, 2019, 05:45:02 AM
New coins will emerge, other coins will fail making it until 2030. Blockchain technology will be adopted by most countries (if not, probably the developed countries while developing countries will soon adopt it also) since blockchain can be used in different field and would be use in other functions that can help in developing a countries economy. Something that might surprise us... Other coin dominating the market. I am not saying that bitcoin would fail but there's always a possibility of something new could replace bitcoin.
455  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Credit Card Cash Loan - Buy Bitcoin on: October 11, 2019, 05:41:21 PM
But I don't really recommend on using loan just to buy bitcoin.
456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tobacco shops - the way to Bitcoin adoption on: October 11, 2019, 03:35:17 PM
It doesn't really give much effect on bitcoin's adoption. Tobacco shops aren't that strong when it comes to promotion and advertising knowing that it's bad for our health. Even if there are a lot of tobbbaco shops and cigarettes being produced, it's still retailers and merchandisers are the one who mostly buy cigarettes. So if the business itself open up for bitcoin payment, only the retailers are the one who can get informed rather than ending customers. Since retailers bought it and they'll sell it again, not all retailers would also accept bitcoin.
It can help but really a small effect only.
457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Blockchain-based social media worth it? on: October 11, 2019, 02:52:03 PM
Arguments are being divided. Both side has their point. As for me, if someone would do it and can prove us the purpose and importance of blockchain technology on social medias, then it's good. But for now, since I am used to what different social media offers, I am already contended with it. I don't see blockchain as something necessary for social media, since socmeds can be successful even without it but it could provide better version compare to others, then it's worth it.
458  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic situation around the world and Bitcoin on: October 11, 2019, 01:34:20 PM
Do you think this Economic situation will push More People into Bitcoin?
It still depends on the economic situation of a country. Countries with good economic situation are most likely to adopt bitcoin for innovation and development (unless it's prohibited by the government or strict when it comes to crypto). While countries having crisis just like Venezuela might have a hard time to adopt on this since they're more focus about their problem. Unless if the government itself, want to adopt or hold bitcoin and crypto.

Also one factor to consider is the government. Whether the economy is doing good or not, if the government is against crypto, it'll be hard to push more people into bitcoin
459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Learn About A Fellow Bitcoiner on: October 10, 2019, 04:32:19 PM

1. How has bitcoin/blockchain changed your life?
2. What kind of work do you do?
3. What kind of work do you wish you could do?
4. What do you wish to see bitcoin become?

1. Rather than change, it helped me financially to have extra income and also gave me new knowledge which I wouldn't have known if I didn't engaged myself with bitcoin.
2. I'm still a college student. While studying, I'm also giving extra time to work part time here in crypto.
3. After studying, of course I want something related to my course and skills, and would still continue giving time for crypto.
4. Hoping that bitcoin could achieve mass adoption and acceptance from the public to be more successful and stronger. And the governments to see the importance of it, not onky the bad sides.
460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cryptocurrency is better than fiat currency? on: October 10, 2019, 03:41:14 PM
We cannot conclude that cryptocurrency is better than fiat when most says that they can co-work together, believe in the function of fiat and would still choose fiat over crypto.
1. Crypto are becoming more accepted but it is still not enough compare to the number of people using fiat.
2. If you lost or someone hacked your account, it's hard to get back your btc. It's a bit risky that's why people are afraid to invest in crypto.
Crypto may be upgarded compare to fiat but both of them are very useful in our everyday life. Nothing is better since they're different. Both of them have their own pros and cons. What's better only matters on the perception of an individual.
