261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Preparing for a recession... Gold or Bitcoin? on: November 24, 2019, 07:01:37 AM
It is indeed safer to choose both bitcoin and gold. But I think that gold is harder to obtain that bitcoin and other cryptocurrency. I would like to chows gold since it is stable and doesn't lose its value easily unlike bitcoin. I'm more financially safe with it during recession. But like what I said, bitcoin is easier to get than gold. So I'll go for bitcoin. I bet during recession, bitcoin will value more.
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When the market goes down remember this... on: November 24, 2019, 06:13:42 AM
This advice fit beginners since they're still afraid and there is still doubt. Don't be stressed out or afraid if bitcoin isn't doing good. While the price is still low, buy more bitcoin so when the time comes for bull run, you won't regret anything...
I read the article you've given and it's a good point. For beginners, telling them the (future) benefits of bitcoin will encourage them to hold more into crypto. It was a great article op!
263  Economy / Economics / Re: What are some not so obvious things that damage a country's economy? on: November 24, 2019, 05:13:42 AM
It's the individual. It's really not an obvious factor but if you combine every individual citizen of a country, doing the same thing, then it will be obvious that's it affects their economy. For example, buying more foreign brands than local brands. If you look a single person, you wouldn't think it affects the economy, but if you will look at the wider perspective, if most local citizens prefer foreign brand, it shows they're neglecting their local productions. It's the foreign countries who are benefitting when other countries buy their brands. But what about the local? Their GNP is being affected by that.
Other example, a single government official corrupting the fund. When they corrupt fund, it's already a lot of money, what if we combine every corrupt officials, that would be a lot of money. Instead of providing it for their people, they're the one benefitting from it.
264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 6 safety concerns? on: November 24, 2019, 04:26:02 AM
Scammers and hackers. It includes all kind of scams and hacks. Although I'm trying to avoid them and I am very skeptic here dealing in crypto, scammers and hackers are now more knowledgeable technically. I also have one concern, and that is the future. The future of bitcoin is still vague to predict until when it is going to dominate. Or as a whole, how will the government make actions towards crypto. Without assurance, I cannot say, the future of crypto is safe.
265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can do Governements against Satoshi ? on: November 24, 2019, 03:34:46 AM
If Satoshi is not unknown, the government might ask him to pay taxes for creating bitcoin? Or probably, the government might always watch what Satoshi is doing? He could be one of the most successful and richest person in the world. And since some governments see bitcoin as a threat to their currency, they might see Satoshi as an enemy? There are a lot of possibility that might happened and maybe Satoshi taught of that before that's why he remains anonymous.
266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Easiest Way to Make Money with Crypto? on: November 23, 2019, 04:54:50 PM
For me, the 'easier way' is not actually easy at all. Also it is not easy to earn big money going with the easier way. There are various job you can do with crypto... Signature campaign will do but don't expect to earn big profit in an instant. You have to work hard for you to earn money. In today's world, money don't come so easily. It requires time, effort, and persistence.
267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will be Gift of Santa Claus in this Christmas for Bitcoin Hodlers? on: November 23, 2019, 03:40:33 PM
Now, I think the last 1 year is not good for the BTC hodlers. So, I just ask Gift of Santa Claus this Christmas for Bitcoin Hodlers?
Sorry but I don't believe in Santa... This wosh of mine is not for Christmas only, but what I want before the year ends or maybe a good way to welcome the year 2020, is an increase in price... I won't ask for bull run since we only have few days or weeks before the year end so I'm just hoping for a plot twist, even the smallest one. That bitcoin will do good this coming days
268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Millennials Increasingly Prefer Bitcoin to Gold or Real Estate on: November 23, 2019, 02:47:32 PM
It is because bitcoin and cryptocurrency is a technology-based which is a mainstream to millennials and post millennials. Unlike gold and real estates, bitcoin is easier to acquire even by just sitting in front of your computer. They would rather spend time facing their computers than working their ass off in the field just to acquire gold and real estate. In order to get gold, it's either you'll mine it physically or just buy it. Real estate has to do something with laws and regulations while bitcoin don't have to.
269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain is not Bitcoin on: November 22, 2019, 10:11:07 PM
Yes we know that it is not. We already know that blockchain is not bitcoin. Though it is commonly mistaken especially by newbies...
China wants blockchain technology. They know what blockchain can do. It's been tackled here in the forum, how the President of China praised blockchain yet they didn't praise bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency because they have plans of making their own currency.
270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 22nd November 2009. Satoshi created a forum called "Bitcointalk". 10 Years ago. on: November 22, 2019, 06:45:01 PM
It has been a great 10 years for bitcointalk. I may not be a part of this forum from the very beginning, I am really glad that I have been a part of this. I've learned a lot especially when I'm still starting at cryptocurrency, thanks to this forum.  As well as discovering new things... I hope for more years to come for bitcointalk and more members to come too.
271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks Are Never There When You Need Them - That's Why We Need Bitcoin on: November 22, 2019, 04:37:23 PM
Banks do provide us what we need though sometimes they are really being annoying and unhelpful sometimes... I also encounter these kind of problems with banks. And with that, here are instances where bitcoin can help me and provide me something others don't, like banks. Though I still need bank. No actually, I will still need both at the end of the day.
272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Government Could Shutdown Bitcoin? on: November 22, 2019, 02:03:06 PM
I don't know why this idea would even be an issue. However, i don't think this idea will work. How come a single government can manipulate and control bitcoin's price? Unless all countries or bigger countries would agree to shutdown bitcoin that I doubt they would even do.
273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can you buy with bitcoin? Apparently, some weird shit. on: November 22, 2019, 10:10:16 AM
In reality, there's a way lot more useful things you can buy using bitcoin, not this one. How funny that someone will actually sell that thing. When you have no idea where to get money, just sell bath water. I don't even know if this is true or not but this makes no sense... Good for her, she's earning by selling it. Those people buying it, I bet they're so thirsty.
274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: According to the Ceo of coinbase 1 BTC can actually change your life. on: November 21, 2019, 05:28:43 PM
I certainly would agree to his statement. 1 btc isn't jist a small amount, especially when bitcoin finally reaches its peak or highest point. Here in my country, which is a third world country, when you convert 1 btc, you already do and buy a lot of things there, what more if the price increases. It can really change your life depending on how arr you gonna use it. A lot of people and families here are struggling to survive, and holding a bitcoin is enough for them to supply their needs.
275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Im done with this shit on: November 21, 2019, 04:50:38 PM
Dump dump dump. Its driving me crazy, and now that I think about it, why would bitcoin actually rise? I mean its not that it will ever get close to beating paypal, beating USD its just shit.
Only reason im still using bitcoin is for betting but that shit is making me lose because its going down so goddamn hard...
Anger won't do good to you. Obviously you're pissed because you keep losing with your bets that's why you're saying those things. Though I get your point right now that it's still way too far for bitcoin to reach usd and paypal. But remember, bitcoin is still on its way to mass adoption. We don't know when but bitcoin is taking it slow... For me, bitcoin don't have to beat paypal and usd. I don't care about the others, I'm just hoping for more people to recognize bitcoin.
276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are there any countries that accept cryptos as an actual method of payment? on: November 21, 2019, 04:04:25 PM
Don't expect othee countries to use cryptocurrency as their main currency because all countries have their own currency. Zimbabwe is facing a financial crisis which lead for their citizens to find another ways financially... As long as a country is still doing well and their currency is doing well, don't expect bitcoin to be their main. There are still no enough businesses accepting crypto so it will be hard for it to be a main currency.
277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin scams and new Bitcoin users on: November 20, 2019, 06:16:04 PM
Scams are everywhere here and we cannot remove it, what we can do is to escape and prevent ourselves from it. Beginners are the one who are more likely to be scammed since they're still lacking knowledge and they are still exploring the world of crypto. That's why they still need someone who will guide them. Being aware of these kind of scams are a good factor to prevent yourself from those scammers...
I believe that asking here in forum will help a lot of beginners to learn various information. And this forum is a good place to ask advices.
278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that governments might one day ban Cryptos? on: November 20, 2019, 11:46:30 AM
Probably some government but not all. Because not all governments would agree to crypto, especially bitcoin who is decentralized. Those governments who see bitcoin and crypto as a threat or as a hindrance for them in ruling their people financially. It depends on the government's stand about crypto. Those countries are likely to be the one who doesn't give much financial freedom to their citizens. Right now, some countries have already put some regulations with crypto
279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would You Pay for Odd Jobs With Bitcoin? on: November 20, 2019, 05:03:46 AM
An unemployed dude comes to your house to ask for off jobs, say to throw away your thrash and mow the lawn. You had no cash but he owns a bitcoin wallet and asks to be paid in bitcoins. Would you pay in bitcoin?
The job doesn't require much skills, knowledge, or even physical work so I don't think paying with bitcoin is the best way. Since he owns a bitcoin wallet, it means that he's well aware of bitcoin and crypto so he can just work with crypto. there's a lot of job offered here on the internet which he can earn more than throwing trash and such... He's unemployed not a beggar. He can't just be contended with that kind of job, so why wouldn't he just look for job on the internet? So rather than letting him do that job and paying him with bitcoin, I'll just tell him to work.
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking answers can help on: November 19, 2019, 04:51:16 PM
I guess you already know how to locate and prevent yourself from getting scammed. It is really recommended to read a lot in this forum especially when you're still a beginner and still want to learn more. You can really earn a lot of knowledge here in this forum. Why? It's because there's a lot of people here already that has been in crypto for so long and their experiences can be a lesson to everyone... People's opinion can be your basis but you will still have to think critically and decide on your own because no one is responsible here if you got scammed, it's just you.
