741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin destroy the world? on: April 19, 2018, 11:11:15 AM
Is this really a question?  Absolutely not!  If you are talking about the energy consumed by the mining industry,  I think it wouldn't. Bitcoin mining consumes an amount that is not even felt by those energy producing companies like those who produces oil barrel because it is just a percent of those who uses energy worldwide.  And if you are talking about greed,  bitcoin is not the problem and not the root of all problems,  it is the person who have this feeling or those greedy persons.

743  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you love Bitcoin? on: April 14, 2018, 11:45:45 PM
I love bitcoin because its the crypto currency and its the king of the crypto.
It hasa lot of use cases.
I can exchange it to any other crypto.

Why do you love Bitcoin?
Why are you interested?

I love bitcoin for the reason that it is my source of money.  I am a student and I need a source of income even though I am studying,  and that problem has been solved by bitcoin.  The good thing about it is that I do not need to spend 12 hours a day just for me to earn a lot of money,  but here you really need to understand how these things work because bitcoin is really risky considering it's volatility.  But after understanding these things,  you will see how important is bitcoin.
744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the price be stable? on: April 14, 2018, 02:36:33 AM
I remembered watching a video about bitcoins and the simple information that a beginner can understand. It says that bitcoin only has the maximum of 21 million bitcoins and 17 or 18 million has been mined.

What would happen if the very last block were mined? Will the value of bitcoin finally be stabilized?
No. It bitcoin would not be stabilized forever. It is because it is so volatile where the value is determined by certain factors or those things that is happening in the market.
745  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is better than Cash. on: April 14, 2018, 01:55:42 AM
What are the reasons, why people use Cash or Credit Cards / ATM / Banks?

Look at the benefits of bitcoin.

* Works online 100%, 100%transparent for private and commercial use. Total control of private or public money for it's holder or holders, investors, governments etc.
* As It's works online there no need of expensive steel safes or bank deposits to keep your money safe. Any password or time code can be used.
* No fees. Unlike cash, hasn't 2%-3% of inflation every single year.
* Accepted for Food Shopping & Micro payments via electronic card.
* 0 confermations time, with introduction of "instant pay" function.
* 0 exchange risks in use of proper securities and competent insurance.
* any entrepreneurs is able to understanding of the value of payment.
* No need for pay terminal for small businesses. For small entrepreneurs it's a high expense of 70 bucks every month.
* Theoretically it's would not be needed to have an expensive licensed cash register, for small entrepreneurs, as every transaction is totally transparent. So cases of black money flow would be easily found and proven.
* Banking and gambling. No need of any verification for CFD,Stock,Currency or gambling services.

The reason why people used cash or credit cards and the like is because they do not still know that there is a reliable cryprocurrency available.  They are misinformed and sometimes misguided in bitcoin that is why they opt to choose paper money.  Maybe what you enumerate must be in other parts of social media not here because yes maybe there are few here that are still not knowledgeable about bitcoin but I am quite sure that most viewers here knows bitcoin.  Inform those people that are not here or use another platform rather than this platform.
746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use cases. What do you actually use Bitcoin for? on: April 12, 2018, 03:28:48 AM
Do you use Bitcoin at least once a month? What do you actually use it for? Why? Is it better, cheaper, faster, more convenient than alternatives? Is it the only option?

If those 120.000+ daily transactions are actually real, there must be thousands of Bitcoin users active every day. What are we actually using Bitcoin for? Are we just true believers or are there real reasons to use Bitcoin instead of other available options?

I figure it's about time that we have a clearer picture of actual Bitcoin use cases. Sure, in a year or two the picture will probably change completely, but it's useful info right now for anyone interested in growing our community.

Please answer in as much detail as possible!
I primarily use bitcoin for savings and a primary source of income considering that I am a student.  I need to earn money while I am studying so that I can buy school-related things or tools because I do not want to always depend on my parents but I want to help them.  In addition,  I also use bitcoin in online shopping because it is convenien
747  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What should i do after buying bitcoin on: April 12, 2018, 02:45:20 AM
I have 20$ of bitcoin. What should i do with it instead of spending all.Tell me Pls. Cheesy
That is incredibly low amount considering that you are investing in bitcoin. So maybe the best thing to do about it is keep it on a desktop wallet and try to spend more money in investing so you can use it on trading.
748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is dropping! what to expect?! on: April 12, 2018, 01:26:02 AM
Bitcoin is dropping! what to expect?!

https://www.bloomberg.com/…/bitcoin-drops-as-south-korea-sa…

I found this very interesting article on the web, check it out and let me know what you think Smiley
I think that is normal and to be expected knowing that it is bitcoin.  We all know how volatile bitcoin is,  depending on what is happening on the Market.  There are many factors affecting the decreasing and the increasing of the value of bitcoin, but I think sooner it will increase.  It is because many people will actually invest more for the reason that the value is lower than before,  and the more people investing the higher the value it will be. So don't panic,  I think it is normal.
749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I stop looking at Bitcoin Price on: April 12, 2018, 12:14:15 AM
I just stop looking at bitcoin price. It hurts me actually, that's why I took this decision. I am holding few of BTC and I will not look at my wallets too for 2 months. I hope after 2 months when I will go to see bitcoin price, maybe I will scream happily. What about you guys?  Grin
Do not panic when you are seeing the value of bitcoin decreasing. It is because even at the very time you start,  you have learned how volatile bitcoin is.  That these cryptocurrencies-related activities are very risky,  especially those who so not understand the market well. But if you have observed how the market works,  you are actually seeing this happening a blessing in disguise or an opportunity.  You can actually buy bitcoins because it has low value and when it value increases,  you will earn so much.
750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the most common uses of Bitcoin? on: April 11, 2018, 11:44:14 PM
I am a newbie in Bitcoin Forum.I know some of the most important uses of Bitcoin. They are:
1.You can buy a flight ticket.
2.You can rent a hotel room.
3.you can buy pizza and other food related goods.
4.You can use it as a investment vehicle because bitcoin will continue to grow in value.

I want to know other important uses of it.

Well, if you are talking to importance,  bitcoin obviously is a source of money.  Difference of it to other sources of income is that you only need your smartphone and internet then you can earn money.  So that's an another importance or use of bitcoin,  to earn money without spending too much time of you that you can actually multitask it to your studying,  and etc. Another use of it is it is for investment.  There are actually many uses of it,  but that varies to the individual using it.
751  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you willing to give BTC in charity? on: April 11, 2018, 02:12:26 PM
Now a day bitcoin is more popular all over the world, several people makes bitcoin as a source of everything either ordinary or riches people. They use bitcoin to help theirselves and others, but if you will be given a chance to have 10 Btc would you think can you give some Btc for those who belongs to indigenous peoples including charities?

Share your thoughts.

Thank you.
Maybe I would donate to these group of people but I would rather convert them first to a national currency before donating it.  It is because these indigenous people aren't that in the modern advancements of technology. These technological things like this cryptopcurrency specifically bitcoin is an alien to them,  they do not even use mobile phones. So maybe the one that would help them is paperoney rather than those cruptocurrency.
752  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin become a daily currency??? on: April 11, 2018, 12:27:19 PM
I have recently written an article about the possibility of Bitcoin becoming currency we will use on daily basis.  so now I want to ask the question do you think we will see if it can be used as a daily currency???  or do you think it will be more like gold a good store of value???
My own personal hope is that we will see cryptocurrencies develop into currencies we will use on a daily basis.  in my opinion, bitcoin will be a good place to start due to the mainstream knowledge about Bitcoin,  but I do not think it's the best-suited kind for daily use and I believe we have a long way to go before it is a viable alternative to Fiat currencies for the majority of people.

For inspirational purposes, I have included my article
https://cryptoms.online/2018/02/27/will-bitcoin-become-a-daliy-currency/

For me, no.  Bitcoin must not be a daily currency and it would not be one.  It is because compare to currencies available which is only used as a form of exchange or transactions,  bitcoin is totally different.  Yes it is a cryptocurrency but bitcoin is beyond that purpose. It is also used by people as a form of business by doing specific activities like campaigns,  mining,  etc, to name one.  So for me,  no.
753  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you want to Buy with Bitcoin? on: April 11, 2018, 09:49:47 AM
Reading a lot of New Year Resolutions, and I can understand many of you here have some resolutions that involve crypto and bitcoin. Maybe you want to earn a bitcoin, multiply your  bitcoins or become a crypto millionaire.

So here is one similar question that does not necessarily has to be achieved in this year.

What are the things you want to buy with bitcoin?
Whether its a House, your favorite car, a yacht, a jet or a ticket to Mars. Whatever you dream, list the things you want to buy with your bitcoins (crypto).

With bitcoin,  I want to buy my needs specially those things that I needed in my schooling like laptop, desktop,  flash drive, pens and etc.  I also wants to but the things or luxuries that I can also used to be entertained.  But I will first buy my needs before my wants.
754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: April 08, 2018, 11:25:32 AM
Since bitcoin is trending now world wide because you can easily earn this and it exchange in real cash. Is bitcoin the new value of currency in the internet? Is he the new money? Can we use it in buying foods and etc in the future?
Definitely,  bitcoin is the next era of currency.  From the barter,  to paper currency,  up to now,  the digital currency,  bitcoin has made a unexpected impact on the society.  Even though many people didn't expect this,  they are shocked on what bitcoin can actually do. It is used by some people because it is actually was accepted by some industries that is why you can pay them through this cryptocurrency.  I think only few years is needed for it to be used worldwide.  So again,  yes,  it is the new era of currency.
755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will we stay positive on Bitcoin? on: April 08, 2018, 10:56:22 AM
Yes,  we must stay positive on bitcoin. I think we are just into the highest value of bitcoin specifically its value last year but thinking about it deeply,  the value of bitcoin from now is actually high compare to its early values.  There are many possibilities that might happen on the next months, so we must be positive.
756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Listening To False News... on: April 08, 2018, 09:37:57 AM
The current "crash" is caused by one bad "news" after another. A lot of them are the false or twisted truth.

For example, today, once again "China Full ban crypto". What the... Why is it causing another crash?? Why is it even "news"?

It was already banned in China back in September 2017. All trading platforms suspended trading in September. Anyone from China who still trade Crypto must be using foreign platforms. Sure, they reported that China added all crypto exchange sites to Great FireWall. So what? These people have VPNs! When I was in China, everyone who visits foreign sites use VPNs. Yes, China banned VPN as well a long time ago. So what? Everyone is still using it. Just like ignoring the traffic light is illegal in China, but at every intersection, you will see people ignore the red lights... the truth! Just because it is "illegal", does not mean no one will do it.

So just this (one) news of China banned Crypto, it was repeatedly used to crash the Crypto market (4 or 5 times). Do not fall for it!
1. Summer 2017, China banned ICO.
2. September 2017, China banned crypto trading.
3. November or December? China became unfriendly to crypto mining (Large-scale miners moved oversea already)
4. January 2018. China banned websites of foreign crypto exchanges. (VPN!!!)
5. Today, "China Full Ban Crypto"... (Really?)

So what is next?
"China really ban crypto"?
"China really full ban crypto"?
"China really really full ban crypto"[IMG]
"China will jail anyone who trades crypto"[IMG]
"China will execute anyone who trades crypto"?
"China will nuke every country who trade crypto"[IMG]??

Stop spreading this nonsense. What's done was already done in September 2017. Nothing has changed ever since. NOTHING really changed in the last 4~5 months.

Yellow journalism at its best.

Same goes for Korean and Indian news. South Korea did not really ban crypto. Just one guy wanted to ban it. It was not approved, nor implemented. So far they have only added regulations that people can no longer trade anonymously. So what? Didn't Coinbase, Kraken, Bittrex etc. US-based platforms all require our IDs and photos?

India also did not ban crypto. Just a minister made some unfriendly speech toward crypto. No real "ban" whatsoever.

From the look of it, someone or some groups are trying hard to make the prices go down. The sad thing is, people are falling for it. The same China "news" was used on 5 occasions to cause the market crash while nothing was really changed or happened. Korean news was used on at least 2 occasions.

The bottom line is, let's just ignore all the stupid "news". Use our brains. Not hearsay from yellow journalism. It is getting annoying to have every little "news" to impact the market price.
Well,  I think false news is inevitable. It is because of the most used form of media today,  namely the social media.  The problem with social media is the people who are using it.  They are equally misinformed for the reasons that sometimes,  when they real the headline,  they usually do not read the entire news that is why they are misinformed.  Another reason is that they are reading and believing on all the articles that they have read without knowing if the article they have read is reliable or not. It is even ironic to hear false news or fake news because news is meant to be the truth, but again,  people must be media and information literate for them not to be fooled by these false news.  They must try educate themselves on how to know if the article or the news they are reading is credible or not.
757  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What impresses you the most about Bitcoin? on: April 08, 2018, 09:15:01 AM
I know a lot of people have different reason why the love and embrace bitcoin.
For me the decentralized nature of bitcoin and the thought of being able to send coins to anybody in any part of the word, no third party, no regulation(specific amount), no bullshit is mind blowing.

There are many things that will impresses me in bitcoin. One of the best features of bitcoin that impresses me the most is that it is tax-free. Almost all activities in the society is taxated, that will sometimes kill you.  Even though you are earning,  some of it are getting by the government even though you are the one who sacrifice and spend your time and energy.  Here in bitcoin,  all the money that you are earning like in mining or investing etc will all transferred to you.  That is what impresses me the most.
758  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Bitcoin even have a future? on: April 08, 2018, 08:32:47 AM
Bitcoin will surely have a future. Yes any thing have a future,  and they are ending up in 2 things,  it is if they will be non-existent or existent in the near future.  But in bitcoin,  I think that it is the latter.  It is because bitcoin is one of the most secured payment methods and has many advantages compare to other payment methods like paper currencies and the like.  The only thing that the bitcoin needs to have a higher value and to be less volatile is it needs to be spread out worldwide.  It needs a tool that will spread out its features and advantages rather than its disadvantages.
759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: will people lose intrest? on: April 08, 2018, 05:42:45 AM
Hello!

If bitcoin died do you think people will lose intrest in other cryptos aswell? which altcoin would you invest in if there were no bitcoin?
When bitcoin die,  for me people wouldn't not lose interest even if this happens.  It is because bitcoin is just a cryptocurrency,  and there are many available cryptocurrencies people can use.  Maybe there will be some changes and adjustments people will experienced but for me,  they will not lose interest just because of that happening.
760  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the history repeat again? on: April 08, 2018, 05:01:16 AM
So we have seen many speculations and predictions that bitcoin will go for one more bullish Eire from the end of March so we are at the end of March now , is it gonna happen like last year or speculations will fail?
Hmm, base on what I am seeing worldwide,  maybe the March last year is quite different from this year's. It is because maybe the reason why last year's March the bitcoin's value increases is because of the news that Japan will accept bitcoin. It increases the investment rates,  increasing the value of bitcoin.  But so far,  it isn't the case,  so maybe it is quite different from last year's performance.  But I am positive that next months bitcoin will retain its value. Hoping.
