241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: French National TV Starts Advertising Bitcoin on: December 02, 2019, 04:33:24 PM
Now I've seen something great. Much faster way to spread the existence of Bitcoin. Although I find the advertisement still lacking? Yes it's good that they're somehow promoting it on TV but the ad itself, I don't think it'll attract people or will catch their attention. No intention of hating but it's kinda plain... I don't know either if this applies to other countries or in France but in my country, ads with storyline attracts more people. So I hope if this will happen in my country soon, it would be better to ad story.
242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What other uses does Blockchain have aside from Cryptocurrency? on: December 02, 2019, 02:46:29 PM
Blockchain technology is advanced that indeed, it can be the future. Blockchain can be applied in different fields. The only thing that is lacking, is the support. If there's only proper support of the government, and spreading the knowledge about blockchain, we can discover more uses of blockchain that can help our lives. Here's a link I found on google that might help you learn more about blockchain and where it can be used. https://www.fool.com/investing/2018/04/11/20-real-world-uses-for-blockchain-technology.aspx
243  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the weirdest thing you have seen for sale for Bitcoin? on: December 02, 2019, 01:35:12 PM
Hard to imagine but that really happens in reality. Those people who really buys stuffs like that (who would even buy used panties?) for me are sick. Because if you're in you're right mind you don't have any reasons to buy such thing. Maybe those people are like of "obsessed", if they're just buying panties that is used by a single person, or they just like to collect used panties?
244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Friends of Satoshi on: December 01, 2019, 10:22:48 AM
Even if Satoshi have talked to you through online, of course he wouldn't reveal himself. He want to be anonymous. As for her personal friends or family, if they know who the real Satoshi, they won't tell it of course. That's why they are labelled as 'friends' because he can trust them. Those whom only he trust must've known his real identity while others probably don't know. You know how super hero works? Only few know about it.
245  Economy / Speculation / Re: Here is why Bitcoin can only go down on: December 01, 2019, 09:46:12 AM
The difference why your comparison is not a good one because they are very different in nature. The only reason why companies like Motorola wasn't able to adjust, is because the market is very dynamic. There's no constant with what people wants. And Motorola wasn't able to cope up with the demands. With what they're looking for. They were once famous, but because of growing competency that made more innovative phones than Motorola.  They should've made innovations with their product and didn't just stick to a single one. Same with Nokia. But with cryptocurrency, we all know that there's already a lot of altcoins coming, yet they still can't reach bitcoin. Bitcoin's value is volatile as well. No matter how others try to develop their coins, bitcoin will remain leading.
246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Satoshi hides his identity? on: November 30, 2019, 04:01:33 PM
Almost every day a new person comes up with the claim that he/she is the real Satoshi. The real satoshi surely does not want any kind of fame. If he/she/they want fame he could have disclosed his identity earlier. But what could be the possible reason that Satoshi still hides his identity? Does he have a big plan for the future?
Regardless on his reasons, let's just respect and accept his decision of hiding his real identity from the public... He is a smart and intelligent guy so I think he has his deep reason why he chose to be anonymous. He could now just enjoy watching us use it, he could be earning lot right now but hr didn't. What if he wanted to reveal himself but he just can't?
247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe satoshi is dead on: November 30, 2019, 03:20:47 PM
We can't tell because Satoshi can be a group. But there's always a possibility. A decade passed already and it's been too long yet we still have no idea about who Satoshi is. Maybe he's still alive and just watching us while having his own freedom. If he's actually dead, then there would be lesser possibility of knowing the real Satoshi...

I'm just curious if his family does actually know that he is Satoshi, the one who created bitcoin...
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cyber criminals are using Youtube to install-Crypto jacking software on: November 30, 2019, 02:16:27 PM
It's becoming more dangerous for crypto users since hackers are continuously upgrading their ways of hacking. And now even YouTube where a lot of users are also into YouTube. Why does some people use their intelligence wrongly?
Well since ever since there's already a lot of issue with hacking, we really should be extra careful clicking links so seems suspicious... Just wanna tell people here to be careful.
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You think that governments might adopt cryptocurrencies to replace fiat currency on: November 29, 2019, 07:52:20 PM
Right now, I don't think the government would do that. Crypto has its limitations and its disadvantages. Fiat also have it but since we've been using fiat for a long time we're used to it already... The government won't adopt crypto since they have their own currency— unless they're going to create their own crypto. Still, they have to consider people's capability of adjusting to that kind of innovation.
250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so few women buying into Bitcoin? on: November 29, 2019, 05:13:31 PM
Before offering your friends either girl or boy, ask them if they're interested or they really have the urge to learn bitcoin.  The mistakes we do here is we just tell people what to do without consulting if they really want it. And maybe because they just forgot about it is because their not really interested in the first place.

On the second side, women are more practical and more afraid of giving so much risk. They love to play safe which is not easy here. Because investing in bitcoin is already a risk
251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who has entered a shop (non-BTC accepting) and asked if they will accept Crypto? on: November 29, 2019, 03:06:18 PM
I haven't tried asking some shops since obviously they are not accepting bitcoin or any other crypto. Also in my country, it's rare to find a shop that accepts bitcoin so I don't expect they will if ever I would ask them. Even though my country doesn't regulate crypto.
Even if I would do it, I don't think they will give attention to what I have asked since it's not in demand. Their customers don't ask for it so they will just ignore it. They will only notice when various of customer would ask the staff if they accept bitcoin.
252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest Shopping Mall in USA Goes All in BTC ATMs for Holiday on: November 29, 2019, 11:53:41 AM
So are they going to install bitcoin ATMs on that mall for holidays like black Friday and Christmas? Well that's actually a great strategy for both company. Bitcoin users might be able to use it while shopping. As well for the ATM company, installing it during holidays is a good strategy to let more people notice bitcoin ATM. That's actually a good promotion strategy.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why invest on a project because someone said they are good? on: November 28, 2019, 05:16:23 PM
One question, is your friend nee to crypto? When you're looking for opinions then you will take other people's suggestions. That's what newbies do, basing it on other people because they're still adjusting with the crypto environment. However, sometimes it leads them to lose money because they listen to others. If ever you'll listen to someone, make sure that, that someone is a trusted one.
I also think it's normal to listen to other's opinion. When we invest on something, we look for the reviews and thoughts of other before deciding. That's just the same. Investing because someone said it is good.
254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is impossible to proof that somebody is Satoshi. on: November 28, 2019, 04:30:23 PM
That's correct. It's because a lot of people already claimed to be Satoshi that it made us more skeptical about the said issue. People will notice and notice something that won't connect the plot becaude they are not the real Satoshi. But when he finally revealed himself, people won't easily believe him. But it is not impossible. If you're the real creator, you can give enough proofs to prove yourself.
255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You think terrorist groups around the world use Cryptos as a means of payment? on: November 28, 2019, 03:15:42 PM
Basically, that's what they do in darkweb. Illegal transactions are also part of bitcoin since there's anonymity. It includes different kind of person and their illegal jobs like terrorism, drug-related, buying and selling of illegal things, and more. It's an advantage for them not to be traced and located by the government. That's why it is one of the reason why governments don't really trust decentralized cryptocurrency. They cannot control it.
256  Local / Pamilihan / Re: South Korean exchange Upbit hacked for $50 million on: November 27, 2019, 03:47:20 PM
Hmm. what are the chances na baka sila-sila 'lang din gumagawa nyan? Declaring they were hacked then exit na kasi nalugi.  Roll Eyes
Tingin nyo? Posible mangyari ganyang scenario?
May point 'to. Maaaring para-paraan lang nila ito pero mas mataas yung paniniwala ko na posibleng may nang hack talaga sa kanila. Actually after reading this news, I feel bad for them, as well dun sa mga taong gumagamit ng exchange. It's a big loss for them especially they have to cover all those funds. Pero may part din sakin na naniniwala, since responsibility nila yun, it's their job dapat mas strong yung security nila to avoid and prevent this kind of situations una pa lang. Since talamak talaga dito ang hacking, dapat well-prepared and always ready sila sa mga gaitong bagay.
257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The new Faketoshi strikes again! on: November 27, 2019, 01:44:08 AM
When the issue came out where Jorg Molt claimed to be a co-founder of bitcoin in a conference I guess, I got irritated a bit. Because where did he get that confidence to claim himself as one. Well if you've been in crypto for a long time, you won't fall for all those Fake Satoshi popping out but how about newbies who might believe them. It will just confuse them.
258  Economy / Economics / Re: You want to get rich, don’t pay taxes, don’t get married, don’t use bank, and... on: November 26, 2019, 03:00:37 PM
That won't actually make people become rich. What you have said are just some things to avoid expenses. But that won't make every people rich. If you want to be rich, work harder to achieve your goals and save money. But that doesn't include, not to enjoy your life. Work for your dreams. If we don't get a job, where should we find money for our daily living? Not everyone who is unmarried and doesn't use bank are rich, it still depends in how yiu will manage your money and assets.
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think crypto world needs... on: November 25, 2019, 03:53:55 PM
What do you think the crypto world needs at the moment? (I'm talking about projects)

In my opinion there is no real platform/website that offers everything you need. For example, news, some kind of trading tools or indicators, educational program maybe hot articles etc...

You've already mentioned what we still need here in crypto world. More legit projects. And something that can help others learn cryptocurrency. Education plays a vital role as well. Crypto and blockchain should be discussed and taught on school. We need more accurate websites and platforms, as well as security. We'll achieve that if we have support from the governments since they can influence people easily
260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would it be realistic for the world to run on cryptocurrencies? on: November 25, 2019, 01:25:35 PM
If we look on a longer view, cryptocurrency is possible to be used worldwide. But right now, we still have to work on a lot of issues and problems before it will happen. People has been using paper money for a longer time and not everyone are capable of adjusting that easy. Although with different factors preventing crypto to achieve mass adoption, I still believe that it's possible to happen. Maybe we're already dead, but I'm positive about it.
