Same thing with you op. Like bitcoin and crypto was already part of my everyday routine. Everyday I have to give time for work and bitcoin while studying. At first, still doubting but when I first got my pay and started earning, I become more eager to earn. Though at some point I almost failed my studies because I was too focused here. But of course it is a life lesson to me to manage my time well. And now bitcoin is already a part of my daily life, and it helps me a lot.

Cash is really the first option of almost everyone because we're used to it. We've been using it for a long time and it's hard to adopt to sudden changes that's why most people are still reluctant about crypto because why would they change their means of payment when they're already fine with the paper system. Everyone's accepting it so it's easy to transact. Even with no gadgets involved, you just have to give them the money and you'll receive your product. Although there are people or businesses who arr adopting different payment methods, it's just for innovation but they will stick with paper cash... If we want digital to be adopted, we should teach the younger ones so they can adopt while they're younf for the future

It was really never a good idea in the first place to gamble borrowed money. I know there's still a what if. What if you won double or even triple the money you borrowed. But let's not forget that luck is not always on us so always remember to condition and control our minds before gambling. Always set a limit to yourself when playing to avoid awful situations to happen. Don't get blinded by your greed and money cause it'll just make you out of control.

Just like in Venezuela since they're having an economic crisis, probably they are looking for an alternative way since their main currency isn't stable nor in a good condition. They might trying bitcoin if it'll work for them just to survive because of the crisis.
Since they cannot rely on their fiat already, another possible way they can do is to go to the traditional one and use gold, or buy foreign currency, or just adopt bitcoin and cryptocurrency. It's actually an obvious move.

The first problem here that some people especially beginners doesn't know, is on how to recognize if it's a scam or not. Imagine how many people are getting scammed because they're not aware if it's already a scam. Sometimes the vitcim are not to blame also, because there are site nowadays that are good at pretending to be a legit one.
But really it's also a great help to report than just ignoring it. In a simple way, we're able to help others.

I've seen a lot of online petition and I bet it won't work unless citizens won't make efforts to stop it. Do you think that online petition is already enough? No. Even if we all sign that petition but it still lacks pursuing from the citizens of Korea, government won't notice and make an action for it.
Why are you so afraid of tax? Everyone is responsible for paying tax. It's for the people also... Look at the brighter side if they officially legalize crypto, it can help for awareness and protection.

Was reading about how Bitcoin first came into existence and people's first experiences with Bitcoin, cryptocurrency, etc on Reddit. I want to know how your guy's first experiences was with Bitcoin, and if you ever had any regrets or wins throughout the years. Also, would be cool to know how people first actually got Bitcoin back nearly a decade ago when it wasn't as easy as buying some from a local Bitcoin ATM near you.
So I was scrolling on the internet and it happens that I saw something related to bitcoin. At first I didn't care at all but after some time, I guess months? I saw something again and I got curious then remembered that a friend of mine mentioned bitcoin before so I asked him and then that's the start. To make the story short, I become more interested and never expect I'll be staying here for years now. Regrets? Yes I do. I regret losing some btc because of carelessness but since I've learnt from it, I'm becoming more careful.

Aside from losing my private key and getting hacked since all of us probably are afraid of it, what's also scary is my local government prohibiting cryptocurrency in my country. Although right now it seems impossible since I could see that the government have no plan of banning bitcoin. But this problem just cross my mind, what if this actually happens? How am I supposed to deal with it?

Okaaay… Of course everyone of us want to win. We all have greed inside us and I won't lie of course I'll take it. Who wouldn't? We're anonymous after all. It's the gambling site's responsibility, not mine. It's their fault so they should take responsible for it. If they can contact and track me, then I'll talk with them but if not, I'll just have to accept it I guess? I mean, cause the real winner wouldn't let not to receive his prize so it's the site's problem how are they going to deal with it. Yep, I'm looking like a bad person here but I'm just being honest

Obviously for China they won't adopt bitcoin and any other decentralized cryptocurrency. They want to control over their people and their money and at the same time be advanced when it comes to technology and in order to achieve that, creating their own centralized digital currency is a way. Now that the President of China already showed support with blockchain, it's more coming to reality. They could aim to surpass bitcoin in the future. It's possible...

It's not necessary for Facebook to adopt bitcoin actually. It's already successful even without cryptocurrency, whether Libra or Bitcoin. Though it's still up to the creator whether they're going to drop Libra or just continue and push that project. Libra didn't become that successful compare to what's expected. Even with that, they won't adopt bitcoin, because if they did, they just showed that Libra failed.

Well I only consider money as "dirty" if I got it through illegal activities and if I have oppressed someone. But with gambling? I don't think so. They also gambled and if they lose and got their money, it's not my fault. I didn't do something bad against him. I got it in fair play so why should I consider it as dirty money? When I also worked for it and took risk for it. We have our own perception of how can we say it is ethical or not. But as long as I haven't hurt nor violated anything, then it's fine with me.

It's accurate though. Most have experienced being scammed and I just also want to add something from what I have learned from that experience is you need to do is to be very cautious and do prior research before investing on something. Don't let yourself get blinded by greed because it will do no good to you. You're just making yourself be more vulnerable for scams. If you're still not that familiarize here, especially for newbies, it's best not to make hasty decisions. Consult people who you think that can help you with your decisions.

I do believe as well that Africa is a very rich country when it comes to natural resources. It may seems like a poor country, it's because they lack of development. But if they were to utilize their resources very well, they can really make improvements about their economy. But I don't think that bitcoin will be the main purpose for their development. Because if their government knows how to maximize what they have, they can make an improvement and development even without bitcoin. Bitcoin is just an additional to a country's technological development.

Both can be worse, the level of addiction is what matters. Because at the end of the day, it's still addiction. Addiction was never healthy mentally. But with cigarette, not only our mental states that are only being affected but our physical health as well. It is slowly killing us. And with gambling, it might not affect us physically, but it can financially. We can say that one is much worse depending on the effect it brought to a certain person's life. Smoking can lead to sickness while gambling can lead to loss.

It's really hard for bitcoin to be accepted in most countries because it's decentralized. No matter how much other country praise blockchain, they are still being reluctant to bitcoin. They'll rather create their own than to accept bitcoin. But I'm not generalising all countries since there are some who sees the positive in bitcoin. We need more time for acceptance...

No matter how much bitcoin you have, most rural places lacks internet connections. What I want to say, yes you have enough bitcoin to feed yourself but does your place have shops where you can use it to buy your necessities? Does the people there have knowledge about crypto? It's more hard to find shops that accept bitcoin in rural places, so no matter how much you can earn bitcoin, how about your needs to live? Can yout bitcoin feed you when there's no available merchants accepting it???

Here in my country, it's still hard to find local shops that would accept bitcoin or any crypto as payments although there are quite a lot of local users here. Crypto is getting popular here but haven't seen merchants accepting bitcoin personally. There are some online but still not that much... I've used bitcoin before to buy small things (not literally big in value). Is gambling also considered in your question? Cause I'm also gambling during free time.
But really, I would love to use in more as payments if only there are available businesses that accepts it

Same goes here sa mga investments. Syempre nasisilaw sa pera kaya willing manloko ng ibang tao. Mapa artista, o politiko man yan, basta may masamang balak, masama talaga. May pangalan kaya madaling maka attract, nasa posisyon kaya may kapit sa ibang otoridad...
