Both teams were in good form as well had prepared in a much better way to face each other in any situation. England being victorious over the past, plans to keep the winning continued. I don't know how the England players will face these 3 bowlers. Indian Batting lineup also strong Murali Vijay, Gautam Gambhir, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli (c), Ajinkya Rahane. The score looks scary now with batsmen like Moeen Ali still on the crease and even Ben Stokes is not taking too many risks. I feel they'll cross 400-450 runs and it will be tough for India to chase those runs. They aren't even managing to take wickets with the earlier partnership breaking at 179.

srilanka declared their second innings for 258 runs for the loss of 9 wickets and they now have a lead of 490 runs and since this pitch is getting worse to bat on i do not think Zimbabwe have any chance here

On day 1 England is in good position especially 4th wickets partnership helped them a lot to get strong position there, India have to play with good strategy to restrict their innings before lunch break, otherwise it will be into deep trouble if they will get succeed to post big total on board.

India vs England , first test match, England scored 311/4 in first day and if they score above 550+ and take quick wickets of India then they are in game, but i am with draw in this game as both team are strong in both batting and bowling.
Sri lanka gave 470 target to Zim and they have lost 1 wicket , if zim give some fighting and you get Sri Lanka odd high then go for it.
Bangladesh Premier league has started and today first match chasing team lost it in low score super gubbing, let us wait for now next match.

England batsman did an excellent job in the first day, they scored 311 runs and still 6 wickets in hand, a Great century from Joy Root and Moeen Ali just 1 run required for his century, So I think this match will end with Draw. Yup but it depend in Indian batting if they play good innings means it will be completed with Draw, If England bowlers do good job and made India all out within 300 runs in 1st innings means this match will become interesting let's see what happen in coming days. |

First day there won't be much variation felt in the pitch. Second day of the match clearly portrays the winning of the match. Indian bowlers needs to take continuous wicket using the spinners to stop the run scoring which is much needed. |

England is playing unexpectedly great as this current runs with loss of 4 wickets put it in better position. We all were expecting to see a repeated game how both teams played against other teams. England is looking very good and stable in my opinion after 1st day's game. Zimbabwe has no much to do in current situation against Sri Lanka in on going match.

You are right currently Moeen and Stoke is key for England as both can do some good batting if they manage to stay on crease for some time then India will under-pressure and they can down for this test but if Ashwin and Jadeja strike then still this match is going in balance just because of Root and Moeen they already done great job for English team |
