It wont replace dollar soon maybe in the future yes.
Who knows what the future could bring maybe bitcoin is not the mainstream digital currency.
i think the chance will be 1:1.000.000.000 , U.S. dollar is strong currency, backed with gold, I doubt bitcoin can replace dollar in future. Nowadays dollar is strong currency because bitcoin has not took its place firmly, whenever bitcoin will establish it will easily replace bitcoin because of a number of features of bitcoin transaction. |

Dollar is so big and many used. So I dont think that will be possible maybe about 100 years. And that is very long time.
We all can see that the Bitcoin will be more worth later in the future. And that it will also be more used.

Its backed by the us gov and strength of the us army. Every super power has ended in history. I think fiat is done in 50 years. Yes only US will support dollar, as all the nations do for their respective currency, if bitcoin came into competition with dollar, all the remaining world will favour bitcoin, as there are more benefits and freedom with bitcoin. |

50-100 years as i see it fit,change is inevitable so its either they follow the trend or go up against the trend of bitcoin and create their own digital currency.
Sooner when the time come when everyone is shifted to digital world in terms of their transactions they will shift to bitcoin. I think it will not take such a long time but only a few years are require. |

That's true I don't think that bitcoin can replace dollar ever in future as dollar is more powerful then bitcoin and we have more users of dollar in compare to bitcoins, so I think its impossible. |

That's true I don't think that bitcoin can replace dollar ever in future as dollar is more powerful then bitcoin and we have more users of dollar in compare to bitcoins, so I think its impossible. Bitcoin won't replace dollar in terms of value or the users. Though bitcoin has reached a high growth in a short term it might get used as a currency in future, but replacing will not take place. |

No I do not think this will happen soon and maybe it will never happen because the dollar is very big and a lot of people are depending on it.
Maybe it could happen in a long term but I think its highly unlikely.

Well it maybe could happen but it will take a lot of years to reach this point that it maybe can do this, first of all the world should be more digital.
Because elderly people will not so fast change from the dollar if you ask me right ?

It all depends upon acceptance of bitcoin. If world get aware of what is bitcoin? How to use it. Then its not tough to replace USD not only USD but other local currencies will also vanish or replace.

bitcoin is currently not very accepted in the world so it would be impossible for this decade bitcoin replace the dollar. if bitcoin already popular in the world. I believe bitcoin could replace dollar It wont it replace it soon. Because many people need it and that is very important for them. I hope of course that Bitcoin will be more used. But it needs time and that is very important. We need to have patience. And Dollar will also reduce in the future later. |

I don't think the dollar will be replaced ever. Not by bitcoin or another currency.
It's way to important in the current financial system. At best bitcoin can compete to compete with the euro or yen.
