Just watched the Medvedev v Ruud semi-final, it is over in 2 sets, 6-4 and 6-2 to Medvedev.

He said in the post match interview that it was a tricky match but he really didnt look under
pressure, based on this performance I would say he would beat either Djokovic or Zverev judging
on the shots he played today.

He has the advantage of only playing 2 sets on just over an hour early today.

So the news that tennis players will be able to perform at the GS in Australia even if they are not vaccinated was still wrong.
The question of all questions is now whether the main star of the tournament, Djokovic, has been vaccinated or not?
If not, he will not be able to perform and it will be a really big shock for Djokovic but also for his fans.

I don't the potential of Daniil Medvedev footing his previous record and experience which is the reason why I believe he has already won the game before they play it. Besides, I believe Medvedev will be among the top 1-2 players in Tennis after the retirement of people like Djokovic etc.
Meanwhile saying he's going to beat Djokovic is something I don't agree with because Djokovic is known for being a player that always comes with an outstanding performance in every game.

I think it is very possible we will see 3 sets tonight, looking forward to this match since it should be a treat and first real test for Djokovic. Ruud and Norie are solid players but they had no chance, Rublev defeated himself and Zverev will finally show the actual form of Djokovic. Had a bet on some multi that Zverev takes a set @1.8 which has some value but that ticket already lost. Not placing another bet on this one, just watching and gathering data to place a bet on final.

Definitly a convincing performance today for medvedev, an expected win and an easy one too but the final will be tricky because i think that djokovic is back on top form he won all his games with a 2 0 score and i think he will get past zverev too plus medvedev performance is really unstable so its hard to identify the winner.

Medvedev is just 25 years old and he has got years to play. After few senior players getting retired out of tennis these are the names we can hear often on tournament winnings.

Djokovic vs Zverev match will be quite interesting. Among 10 head to head matches Djokovic have won 7 matches and Zverev have won 3 matches. Interestingly five matches have ended in direct sets. Djokovic have won three matches on direct sets and Zverev have won 2 matches. In the upcoming match it seems to be good to go with live betting, because the odds seems to fluctuate often.

Australia has always been very strict in this pandemic and I can understand them. I don't think Djokovic has been vaccinated and I don't think he will get one either so he will probably not participate in the AO...

@Trofo, stop playing multiples and focus on single bets with more value, in the long end you will have more profit with this strategy.

Djokovic is playing just for a title, he scored the first spot on top of the leader board this season, he didn't play that well, Zverev wasn't aggressive in this match, he mostly just returned the ball and waited for Novak to make an unforced error and it worked pretty well, the final is going to be hard to predict, I think the trophy is going for Zverev though.

I got lucky to place a bet over Zverev @2.90, but the bet amount was very low. The match could turn anyway, thinking that in mind I cashed out when the third set was on the go. However it was a winning day for me. The final seems to be more energetic game, because the odds seems to be close. I've decided to go for Medvedev.

Yes, as I have said previously, this could go to under and Medvedev winning in straight sets. No more big comeback from Ruud.

You are right, it was pushed to 3 set, but guess what? There was a big upset as Zverev down Djokovic.

Good moral win by Zverev and now that he and Medvedev are going into the finals, it will be another one to predict. But for me it will be a safe Over again as these two are going to have a battle.

The real question is how many tennis players have actually been vaccinated and how many will be able to perform at the GS in Australia at all.
If Djokovic and some other top tennis players will not be able to play for this reason, can we talk about the questionable regularity of this tournament?
What is certain is that tennis fans will be most disappointed because they will not be able to watch Djokovic and probably some other famous and favorite tennis players.
If this situation continues, I think it will affect the earnings of tennis tournaments because Australia GS with or without Djokovic is not the same tournament.

As one of the commentators before the match said "Zverev will need to bring
his A game" and that he did. Based on that super performance in the 1st set
I was going to back him but I had in my mind that Djokovic would come back and win,
which he did ...and didnt do. Super performance by Zverev but at a fairly high cost,
it was a long match which finished late, exactly what Medvedev hoped for.

I went for Zverev to take at least a set. I feel like this is by far the best surface for Zverev to beat Medvedev and he should be full of confidence after his match yesterday. It took some balls to serve those second serves over 220 km/h yesterday and I hope for more of the same aggression today. Medvedev lost sets against worse players than Zverev and against Zverev in the first match it came down to the few balls.

Should be a great match to end our season.

Thats exactly what he did, he carried his momentum from beating Djokovic into
todays match and played that top attacking tennis to eny Medvedev the win,
and did it comprehensively in 2 sets by breaking Medvedev in each set and
making sure his service game was on top, just like yesterday.

Congratulations to Zverev for the wonderful game and I like how he learned from the previous game he lost against Medvedev on November 16 when the tournament was still at the group stage.

easy to predict, Zverev had it easy against Medvedev who couldn't get a single break point throughout the whole match, Sascha's serve was on point and Medvedev was not able to put pressure on him and that gave him more confidence, the more I see Zverev playing the more i see how important his serve for him, he lost many times when he got under pressure and made a lot of double faults, hard luck for Medvedev who lost today tho.

But unfortunately, Zverev has still that momentum from the big win against Djokovic the other night.

And Medvedev has no answer and he says post interview that it seems he is not 100% on this match, his serve doesn't have the spark as compare to his previous games.

But in any case, we love this kind of games so congrats to Zverev.

Zverev ended the season well, I predict the final will be the same as the first round they met so confidently placed a bet at over 22.5 but Zverev was able to finish it in 2 straight sets, and broke 5 consecutive losses to Medvedev.
Djokovic's dominance slowly began to be replaced, AO 2022 is not an easy thing for him to be able to defend his title or his target to take all GS tittle in 2022, might be he still able to add more GS tiitle between 1-2 in 2022.

My friend had bet big on Zverev. He watched every match of his and how consistently he was improving. There was no way I would have bet against Medvedev. Props to him for his amazing read.
