Has anyone watched the J&T Banka Ostrava Open? it doesn't seem so festive, even though I saw there are some famous women like Sakarri and Martincova where she can meet on quarter-final today.
Martincova has won on 16 rounds vs Pavlyuchenkova while Sakarri has won vs Ostapenko on 16 rounds yesterday. I think Sakari will win the match and going to the semifinal.

I watched the game between Sakkari and Ostapenko and Sakkari destroyed Ostpenko in straight 6-2 6-4. For me Sakkari looks really good in this tournament and i think she can even win it if she continues to play like this. Should be an easy win against Martincova in todays match

Yeah, lots of potential on Sakkari.

Lost my parlay bet on the Metz Open, and regarding Andy Murray march on this tournament, it has ended as he lost to the top seed Hurkacz in straight sets, 7-6, 6-3. So Hurkacz will be facing Gojowczyk in the quarterfinals. Then Carreno-Busta vs Rune on the other hand. I bet both top seeds are going to win in 3 sets.

I wouldnt bet on Murray if i knew he was gone a win. He is not close to his prime at all. Hurkacz can go really far im this tournament maybe even win it. Rune has a really hard challenge and will take something big from him to win against Carreno Busta.

Anyone going to be following the Laver Cup?

The second game is being played now, Berrettini v Felix AA, and he looks like he will
take that first set.

Its 1-0 to Team Europe after Ruud beat Opelka in 2 sets.

Team World should really fancy their chances this year with the Big 3 missing for
Team Europe although we have a very strong team with, Medvedev, Tsitsipas, Rublev,
Zverev, Ruud, Berrettini and Lopez.

I like Carreno Busta chances against Monfils. So Murray lost, it is expected already, but it good to see him at least winning in this tournament and progressing, but it's obvious that he is no longer on his prime.

I'm expecting the two top seeds to meet in the finals, Hurkacz vs Carreno Busta.

I just came across this news and was very surprised:
''Emma Raducanu: British number one splits with coach after US Open win''

Okay, I understand that she thinks she needs a little more experienced coach but it seems to me that she could have shown a little more respect and gratitude to the current coach, who obviously helped her a lot to achieve the greatest success in life.
In fact, it is not unusual for tennis players to have more coaches and a bigger team behind them, which helps them.
One of my favorite tennis players, Murray, has lost a tennis match again and he is further and further away from the expected return to the top of world tennis.
This is his statement after the match:

"I'm not that interested in playing well and losing. I want to be winning these matches. But the consistency this week was better than it was over in the States," Murray said.
"My goal's not to get in the top 100. I would want to get back in the top 10, [that] would be more something that would motivate me in terms of a goal. Winning tournaments and getting up towards the top of the rankings is motivating to me.

Do you think these plans are realistic?

In a head-to-head, Monfils has won 3 times whereas Carreno Busta has won 2 times. I think even this time Monfils will win.  Monfils has been on the scene since 2004 compared to Busta starting his career in 2009. So Monfils definitely has the experience needed and though he is aged than Busta, but I feel like he will win. And Murray has left his prime time way before and now maybe he's just playing for fun. I would have liked it if he had won some more tournaments but his time is nearing very fast.

Murray is 34 years old in last few years he is facing some serious issues regarding his fitness which is preventing him away from game and now surely he is not able to give his full even he is doing hard work now mostly he is losing in second and third round matches mean he is already done. On other hand Hurkacz is next generation player who can give better in next few tournaments playing very confidently in this tournament, hopefully he is going to face Carreno Busta or Monfils in final which could be very interesting match.

Osaka came into my mind, after winning her first Australian Open, she suddenly switch coach Bajin, and then hired Jenkins, and then replace her as well with her father. Now look at where Osaka is, she lost the number 1 spot and it seems that she has a yoyo performance since then

Not saying that it could happen to Raducanu, but switching coach might have a drastic effect on your performance. As the saying goes "don't fix it if ain't broken".

Hmm strange decision from Raducanu. It seemed they formed a good team with winning her first grandslam but probably she thinks she can reach higher heights with the new coach. We will need to wait and see what happens.

I don't think Murray will ever reach the top 10 again; physically he can not compete anymore at the highest level.

This move from his shamefull and ungreatfull honestly. She was working with him i think for a few months and he trained her so good that she won the US Open. Now she is firing him to find a new and experienced coach. I think that coach that she had deserved a little more time with her. Hopefully he finds a new player soon to coach

Rune has a really hard challenge and will take something big from him to win against Carreno Busta.
you did good, I also didn't wanna bet on Murray in that match, Hurkacz is a young talented player, it's about time we'll see him make some surprises, he's in the final now he will play against Carreno-Busta, it won't be easy for him but i think Hurkacz is going to win, and probably in three sets, I think it's his time to shine in this tournament and win it.

Seems Sakkari is strong enough for this tournament, she going to the Final today vs Anett Kontaveit.
Maria Sakkari won vs Swiatek on Semifinal yesterday which direct double set (6-4) (7-5) while Kontaveit won a direct double set also vs Kvitova (6-0)(6-4). Sakkari is still a favorite to be champions, odds for Sakkari (1.88) and Kontaveit (2.02), Who do your choose? I bet for Sakkari

Carreno Busta already won in three sets against Rune and will be facing Monfils in the semifinals.

I'm sorry mate, but it seems that you are off with your prediction, in the US Open you said that Djokovic will win against Medvedev, when everyone of us thinking that Medvedev will have a fighting chance. And again, Carreno Busta prevails over Monfils in straight sets.

And as I have predicted, it will be Hurkacz vs Carreno Busta in the finals in this tournament. The odds are very close though, hard to see who will win, but it's better to go for a handicap here, maybe a over will be a good one as this might goes to three sets.

Hmm strange decision from Raducanu. It seemed they formed a good team with winning her first grandslam but probably she thinks she can reach higher heights with the new coach. We will need to wait and see what happens.

I don't think Murray will ever reach the top 10 again; physically he can not compete anymore at the highest level.

Yes, for me this is also a very strange decision, because in tennis the most important thing is the relationship between coaches and players and trust, and experience is usually gained gradually through tournaments and performances.
I am afraid that because of her youth and haste, Raducanu actually made the wrong decision and that this could affect her future performances and results.
As for Murray, unfortunately the competition in world tennis is now very big, the time of domination of the big three has come to an end and new tennis stars like Medvedev, Zverev, Thiem and others have come.
I think his high expectations of returning to the top of world tennis are unrealistic but obviously he still doesn't have the strength to figure it out on his own and give up.
The hardest thing is to admit to yourself that your time is gone forever.

You're predictions going true, but I did not place a bet on the semifinal match yesterday because I bet on another tournament.
True, 3 sets is very possible and this time I placed 2 bets on over and ML for Hurkacz hope it goes well.

I check the odds for ML, it is close, both getting a @1.89 odds, so it means still 50/50.

So I agree that the better bet should be the over as this might extend to a full 3 sets because they are the top seeds in the tournament. But the over is @1.94 and under @1.81, just so confusing as the punters might think this will just go in 2 sets with that odds on the under. I will go with Busta to win, I have a feeling that he will go and upset Hurkacz.

Nah, of course not. Murray was great at his best, he could play against all of the big 3, he has 3 Grand Slams and 2 Olympic gold medals which shows at what level he used to perform. For him the top goal currently would be just to stay healthy and enjoy his tennis while he can, he's not young enough anymore to push for the top 10 spot. He'd have to play a lot of tournaments for that to happen and I really doubt that's the smartest route he can take.

He lost heavily almost all this season's games against top 20 opposition, in 5 matches he played he did well only against Tsitsipas, all others he lost in straight sets.

Yes my prediction about the Djokovic vs Medvedev was a bit off and I predicted for Djokovic as he was in insane form throughout the year and no one can deny that, but also Medvedev played very well to counter Djokovic.  And on hard court, Monfils has far better stats compared to Busta. Monfils so far won 300 and lost 148 on hard court and Carreno Busta won 97 and lost 87 as per foretennis.com which means Monfils has a better winning percentage than Busta.

Update on the Laver Cup, if anyone is watching?

Team Europe lead Team World by 11 - 1. The only point TW have scored was through
Isner / Shapovalov v Zverev / Berrettini, other than that TE have wone all matches.

Live ATM is Rublev / Zverev v Opelka / Shapovalov

3 final matches to follow are:

Zverev v Felix AA
Medvedev v Swartzman
Tsitsipas v Isnr

I have made a few Satoshi's on this tournament based on TE's dominance.

I have to admit that this was a pretty harsh decision from the side of Raducanu. What I feel like she could have done is maybe keep his current coach as the current coach knows everything about her from her weaknesses to her strong points, and then maybe get another well-experienced coach than this one who will help her in the long term. But we were to be in her shoes, I think this decision although seems pretty hard from a viewer's perspective, will benefit her in the long run. And I could be wrong but I strongly feel like the golden Murray days are over. He is already 34. Though he has been playing quite well in the past few days, but I don't think he will be able to win anything with the likes of on-form Djokovic and players like Medvede and Zverev being on form.

Update on the Laver Cup, if anyone is watching?

Team Europe lead Team World by 11 - 1. The only point TW have scored was through
we all know team Europe were favorites as usual, but they destroyed team world, my only bet on this tournament was on Auger Aliassime, and I lost it, Europe always had very good players and most of them are better than rest of the world, socks to say that but it's the truth.
