Thats great news for Emma Raducanu and her fans. Finaly she seems to have made
a very good move to team up with Torben Beltz.

https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2021/nov/09/emma-raducanu-torben-beltz-tennis-coach-upper-austria-ladies-linz

Quote
Emma Raducanu has confirmed that Torben Beltz, the former long-time coach of Angelique Kerber,
will be her new coach as she prepares for her first full season on tour in 2022

Hopefully we will see her game develop in 2022 with some consistent wins and a good
development of her skills.
Yes, let's give her a chance in 2022, it was really big winning the US open and there could be huge pressure for this kid, not just to her, but to Fernandez too.

And with a new coach around, maybe we can see big improvement on her, specially the mental aspects of the game because that's what important as well. You can have all the talent in the world, but if your mind is not that strong or well trained, you can easily lose to anyone.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Watched Murray match and I must say it looked like Sinner was the better player throughout the whole first set. Then he lost tie break and broke apart for a couple of games which was enough for Murray to use to his advantage. Also had a bet on Sinner, did not think Murray would be able to keep his level for the whole match.

Next gen tournament is really fun to watch. No advantage/deuce, they are playing deciding point so it all goes quite fast. My top picks are Alcaraz and Korda, but as you said Alcaraz is the most complete player in this tournament and he is playing in great form so he should take it in the end.

Torben was quite successful when trained Kerber, Kerber can win the GS and reach first rank so it was reasonable for Raducannu to choose him as coach. We'll see how she is in the 2022 season if she can maintain performance because the pressure will be stronger and any result will always be in the media spotlight.

I know women's tournaments don't get much attention, but I'm interested in betting on the WTA. Guadalajara
M. Sakkari vs. I. Swiatek and A. Sabalenka vs. P. Badosa Gibert, all in over.

Yeah, good choice by Raducanu, hopefully he can be guided by Torben, similar on how he successfully trained Kerber to go to the next level. 2022 will be a good year for this young and upcoming players.

I know women's tournaments don't get much attention, but I'm interested in betting on the WTA. Guadalajara

Will look into this ladies tournaments, I just took some time off and I'm back.

Thanks for your pick, yes, I agree this could be over as this match is very even.

@Trofo how are you watching the matches in Stockholm, I dont see them listed on
Eurosport or on Amazon Prime?

I have Murray backed to beat Paul tonight, hopefully he can continue his winning
ways from beating Sinner.

This is actually the quarter final stage, Tiafoe is through to the semi's after beating Evans.
I think Murray has a decent chance to make the final.

The other 2 quarter's are:
van de Zandschulp v Felix AA [2]
Rinderknech v Shapovalov [3]

I am watching Stockholm on Sportclub, it is local sports TV house, so I am not sure you can get in you part of world but I am sure there are some good streams out there. For instance many bookies also ofer streamed matches if you have money on the site.

I had money on Tiafoe so that is one game less on my multi, now I am waiting for Alcaraz to win 3:0 to cash out on that early multi. Should come easy, unless he decided to take it easy in one set Smiley

@Trofo how are you watching the matches in Stockholm, I dont see them listed on
Eurosport or on Amazon Prime?

This is actually the quarter final stage, Tiafoe is through to the semi's after beating Evans.
I think Murray has a decent chance to make the final.

I can't watch any game right now because of time zone difference, would just wake up from time to time to see the score. But it's not a healthy practice so probably skip this tournament as far as betting is concern.

Tiafoe did win against Evans in three sets. FAA continue to do his thing as well, hopefully he can past and reach the finals here but it will be tough. Andy Murray's dramatic run has ended as well losing to Paul in three sets.

Stockholm

Murray beat Sinner today. I had Sinner to win and I'm really  surprised that Murray won
TBH, well done to him for beating the top seed in 2 sets.

Next Gen

Just watched Korda beat Baez in 3 sets and watching the highlights of Alcaraz
v Nakashima, I really think Alcaraz is going to win this tournament, he looks
really strong.

Murray had a big win against Sinner and when you expect from him to win the tournament he losses against an avg player like Paul and again Murray cannot reach the semifinal. For me on the next gen i think Alcaraz will win,he is for me the future number 1. He is the most complete young player on the tour

I too was surprised to see Murray win against Sinner, because I felt that he didn’t have any form left in him and just when I thought he could make it to the finals, he ended up losing to Paul which once again proves he won’t win anymore and should move on from this game.

Also I do respect what he’s accomplished so far, and if he doesn’t wish to retire then he should play very less tournaments, because he’s been in poor form for a very long time now.

Yeah it was very surprising for many but Murray does things like that, he is unpredictable, some times he looses when we expect him to win and when expected that Sinner would win this match as Murray was not in any form he gave us a surprise. The problem with him is he is not consistent enough and he should figure out what goes wrong and work on that.

Murray will never be the player he was before all the problems with hip. It is simply the truth and we have to accept as he has. He even had an interview recently when he shared how it is not possible to have the same range of motion with artificial hip as he could before. Meaning he knows what is the perfect shot in some situation but he is unable to position himself properly and that gets on his nerves.

If you guys ever played some sport with a minor injury you know how it goes, on a good day when everything is going your way you don't even feel it but on a bad day you feel like that injury is hampering you so much and then it starts to bother you even more.

Murry is of limits for betting as far as I am concerned, I'll just enjoy the fact he is back on tour and put my money on more predictable players.

Ah I cant believe Murray lost to Paul. As above he is indeed very unpredictable.
He will be dissapointed with that, not being able to back up the win against Sinner,
that would be a market or progression for him.

I think anyone who thinks Murray is getting back to former glory is kidding themselves,
the problems with the hips has set him back massively.

I'm not betting on Murray past the first round in future tournaments.

I think he can still have moments and matches where he's playing close to his previous best, back before he got injured. But the big problem is that his body won't let him sustain that level for very long. It's been the case for a while now that whenever he has a victory against a top player, or even a victory where it's been a very long match... then it takes so much out of him that he always loses in the next round, no matter what level the opponent is at.

I can't see why he'd want to carry on playing unless he genuinely believes he can challenge for slams again, but whilst we can see moments of great play from him, we haven't seen anything yet to suggest he can maintain it over a series of matches. To win a slam you need to win seven best-of-five-set matches in fourteen days. It's a stretch to believe he'll be able to do that again.

I agree mate, with his huge win against Sinner, who wouldn't have thought that he will lost to Paul in this match?

Maybe it just shows that his body in really no longer there, I mean maybe there is already the fatigue factor about that huge win against Sinner. If that is the case then we wouldn't see him win any tournaments.

Trofo explained it nicely just a few posts above you. Murray can still play on a decent level and can make some nice wins against other good players but he will always be limited due to all his injuries.
He is too unpredictable to really place big bets on.

The two favorites today in Stockholm lost today, Tifaoe and Aliassime, not the day to bet on favorites, the one that I think actually deserve it is Shapovalov, he was doing really well last year, but he somehow lost so many times in the first rounds of big tournaments that we couldn't see him play again, I think he can win in Stockholm and beco.e champion, maybe it will give him a boost of confidence to get back to his actual form.

Right, tough match and very unpredictable game again. I thought that FAA can go and win against Shapovalov here, but he was beaten in two straight sets.

Now, it's the final, Shapovalov vs Paul. Dennis now the favourite @1.50. I'll probably go over in this game, three setter and it will still be Shapovalov for me.

I didnt have any bets on yesterday apart from Korda in the next gen tournament.

Shapo v Paul, interesting outcome to that tournament, nobody would have called
this match up for the final. I think I'll go with Shapo on this one.

...and Alcaraz on the next gen, provided the odds are favourable.

I was also expecting FAA to win or atleast give a tough fight but he was beaten in back to back two sets which was kind of dissapointing. It was a dominating performance from the Shapovalov and shapavalov can carry momentum and confidence of this match in the finals as well and I will also be backing shapovalov to win the final against paul dennis.
