Eubanks is no outsider in this match. He has shown through the win against Norrie and Tsitsipas that he has matured. Both wins have certainly given him a lot of confidence and he will definitely want to win this match. Medvedev has reached the quarter-finals at Wimbledon for the first time in his career and has played convincingly so far. I also expect this match to last more than 3 sets. I would only bet when the match is on and the performance can be seen.
I think Daniil Medvedev is the favourite in this game. In the previous round he beat Czech Jiri Legecky very quickly - 6:4, 6:2, after which Jiri refused to continue the fight. Medvedev saved his energy for this one. Eubanks spent more energy to reach the quarter-finals. However, in physical terms, Christopher is hardly inferior to Daniil. But in my opinion Medvedev has a higher level of play. Energy expenditure in the games before is not always that relevant when we are talking about professionals and the best players in the world. They know how to accelerate recovery and the timing of their games has to be very bad in order to have a significant negative impact on the next match. But sure Medvedev was the favorite, however when Eubanks can beat Tsitasipas after being down 1-2 sets, why should he not be able to also beat Medvedev and right now he is in the lead. It is difficult to play against these players nobody really noticed before and then they perform way beyond their own expectations. Sometimes they can seamlessly continue where the stopped the last game and sometimes they jus lose the next game easily expected. It doesn't to be the latter in this game between Medvedev and Eubanks. Tie break, what a nip and tuck! Medvedev v Eubanks This match was very close and interesting in the end. There was a certain time when I thought is not going to win this match. After the fourth set of the match, I actually thought that Eubanks is going to be the winner. I mean he had a genuine chance of winning. He just had thrown it away. But I also have to give credit to Medvedev. He performed really well in the last set. In the next match, Medvedev is going to play in the semi-final stage of the tournament. It is still not decided who will be the opponent. What we have seen between Eubanks and Medvedev was one of those games when experience comes into play and is the decisive advantage, even more so in a tie-break that could potentially end the game and eliminate the favorite. Eubanks showed his best tennis in the 2nd and 3rd set. Medvedev was done, he was game over. It is this picture that Eubanks also had in his mind, but it was too good to be true for him. Really, I believe he couldn't believe himself that he is close to beating the former world number 1 in Wimbledon and then his nerves were negatively triggered and he couldn't find a calm spot for himself again. It hit him so hard that he lost the 5th set as most people expected him to lose the game before it even began. A great match with an end that I wish should have been different

When I don't have a team or person I follow I'm all in on the underdogs. Who doesn't like a good underdog run at a major tournament that wasn't exactly expected. Kinda feel that one hurts more than getting wiped in straight sets. So close to moving on it was right there.

Seriously, that hurts. The straight sets would have given him a great night with good sleep right afterwards because he would instead be dreaming about his match before the one against Medvedev. But when a game ends like that and you have the 2-1 lead and you go into a tie-break, I can't help but think that several of Eubank's rallies or serves must be going round and round in his head, keeping him from finding sleep. But yes, it's fun to follow underdog journeys, it is inspiring for oneself.

The match between the two young players Alcaraz and Rune were more enjoyable as we were able to watch the energetic performance from both sides. Rune played well, but he couldn't stay on the tournament anymore. The tricky shots and cool movements were nice to watch.
This one hurt my ticket badly, I needed Rune to take one set for everything to pass but Alcaraz was just better in important points. Did not watch the whole thing but parts that I have seen Rune was able to hold his own until Alcaraz shifted gears in important points. Anyway I have a feeling there will be a lot more matches between these two in the future. Can't believe bookies see Alcaraz as that big favorite against Medvedev. This is his first good grass season and while I think he will I was expecting odds around 1.6 or even 1.7. Sinner has no chance against Djokovic IMHO, they have similar playstyles only Djokovic is better in every segment. I think the last time they played each other Sinner was up 2 sets, he won the first two sets and Djokovic came back and comprehensively beat him . . . >Quick Search<Yes Wimbledon last year in one of the quarter finals , the scoring was: 5-7, 2-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-2>/Quick Search<but now some questions are going around my head . . . Sinner is a way better player now than he was last year, his game has developed a lot - will it be enough to get him 2 sets up again and carry him one step futrther to get that 3rd set? has Djokovic improved since last year or is he just more driven, more focussed, more ambitious?

Lets see what's going to happen in the finals. Sinner have improved than the previous year. Same time for a question raised after the match, Djokovic have answered he's the favourite for the season. There is no doubt, but it shows how confident is he. Along with the same he mentioned just because I'm stating myself the favourite doesn't mean I'm arrogant. This is really very positive and shows his self discipline.

WTA semis: Marketa Vondrousova has just breezed past Svitolina 6:3, 6:3. Interestingly, she was winning 4:0 and 40:0 in her serve game and managed to lose that game and two more games later on (one of them being a serve game). But all in all very good serve, lots of dropshots, some aggressive slices and she managed to win eventually. She will meet the winner of Sabalenka v Jabeur in the final. My bet will be on Sabalenka, although that is going to be a very close match.
It's a shame Sabalenka lost in 3 sets it's quite a shame how she lost after being able to win the first set through a tie break and the second set was already 4-2 up but Jabeur did better to take the second set and the decisive set Sabalenka still couldn't find her best performance a lot of her serve can't give points. In the final between Vondroušová vs Jabeur, the Tunisian is favorite in the final laters and Vondroušová seems to have a bit of an injury maybe this will affect her appearance in the final later, this is the second final for both players at a Grand Slam so this will be their first title. I'm going to stick with Vondroušová even though Jabeur on grass is a good player but Vondroušová also managed to beat fourth seed Pegula so it's extra credit to her in the finals.

She defeated Sabalenka in a similar manner she defeated Rybakina in the previous round. Three sets, coming back from losing first set tiebreak etc. It just shows how bad she wants this title.

I wouldnt see it as a shame that Sabalenka lost out to Jabeur, of all the women on the WTA I personally believe Ons is most worthy or deserving of at least a GS final spot and I really hope she wins the final. Vondrousova will be a tough opponent for her though, she looks really strong so far but if there is a possible injury that could be a factor. Ons I think is worthy favourite at 1.47 If she can keep her mental strength she should win

A great match with an end that I wish should have been different This was obviously really close, but I have to agree that Medvedev being the more experienced player in this situation, actually found a way to win. Experience is going to teach you things that you are never going to learn by just listening or watching. This is also an important experience for him. I believe this is going to be important for him going forward in the future. Today in the semi-final match, Medvedev is going to play against Alcaraz. This is obviously going to be a lot harder paired to his previous match. And he’s obviously going to need all the experience of himself to win against Alcatraz in this match.

What a comeback from Jabeur yesterday and it was her 3rd game in a row where she made a comeback and I think she will win the final as well! Today , we have the ATP semi-finals and I think Sinner might produce the surprise and win against Djokovic because honestly , I don't want to see a rematch between Alcaraz and Djokovic because honestly , these 2 seems to face each other in almost all the finals this year and I think the fans deserve something new so that's why I predict Djoko to lose. For Alcaraz ...that kid makes everything looks easy and smooth in tennis right now and I can't go against him.

Alcaraz is already doing some incredible stuff on all surfaces and he is just 20 years old. I would have never given him a chance to actually do this well on Wimbledon since grass was his weakest surface. But I guess it is just because he is so young and still did not have time to adjust to it before this season. Don't think there is a lot of grass turfs in Spain I know only about the one in Mallorca. Medvedev looks quite poor in some sets this year, this one should be quite and easy win for Alcaraz. I predict 3:1 win for him and taking Alcaraz to cove -1.5 sets handicap.

This one hurt my ticket badly, I needed Rune to take one set for everything to pass but Alcaraz was just better in important points. I think the last time they played each other Sinner was up 2 sets, he won the first two sets and Djokovic came back and comprehensively beat him . . . >Quick Search<Yes Wimbledon last year in one of the quarter finals , the scoring was: 5-7, 2-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-2>/Quick Search<but now some questions are going around my head . . . Well in the last two time Sinner was able to get two sets at least against Djokovic. But i got a good feeling that this will go into straight sets for Djokovic. I picked under 37.5 games in this match and i think it is realistic. So far Djokovic player all over/unders over. Not a single match went under in games and i think todays match might be under.

no final for Sinner. not being able to reach the final is not a surprise.... the bookmakers quoted his victory today between @4.5 / @4.80 ... after so many defeats due to injuries at least he seems to have found a decent physical form .. and he is certainly a player who will play at a very high level in the next few years

Alcaraz is simply too good for everybody else. When Đoković retires, he'll basically be a favorite in every Grand Slam he'll play for the foreseeable future.
I think he'll win against Đoković - he looked a lot more comfortable today.

no final for Sinner. not being able to reach the final is not a surprise.... the bookmakers quoted his victory today between @4.5 / @4.80 ... after so many defeats due to injuries at least he seems to have found a decent physical form .. and he is certainly a player who will play at a very high level in the next few years Yes, until Jannik Sinner learns how to play against the top players, he'll remain a player that just keeps getting eliminated at the semi finals or quarter finals, a title just synonymous to king of the underdogs. He's a very good player and I think he has a great mentality too, but he needs to be less predictable and add more dynamism to his game that can make him adapt to any opponent style and other unfortunate scenarios.

Honestly I think I'm laying down on djokavich. His time isn't over yet and think alcatraz might need to wait just a little longer to take over the men's tennis world. Djokavich in 4 sets is what I'm laying down on, although I wouldn't be surprised with a clean sweep.

to quote myself, Eubanks had good match, and provided some gains but, I did not cash-out when possible after third set on a win, and should do that, but at that moment expected to see Eubanks winning this one, and he could do that in fourth set, fifth was just a formality
will be interesting to see Alcaraz against Medvedev, but I think that Medvedev is without chances to take even set there, should be straight sets for Alcaraz, will check odds and probably have it like that
Good performance from Alcaraz. Both waited for mistakes from the opponent and Alcaraz was more consistent overall in terms of performance than Rune Eubanks as expected from me, did not disappoint me. The fact that he managed to play 5 sets in the quarter-finals shows that we have to expect more from him in the future. It seems he have lost concentration in set 5. At Thursday the mens have a day off and at Friday the semi-finals will be played. It was refreshing to see how the guy called Eubanks played against Medvedev. I have never heard of him before and it seems that he was about to give up professional tennis. The telegraph and some other news outlets have written that he was on his way to a different career path as a commentator. I love life stories like that. A player decides to end the career and then to his own surprise almost beats Medvedev in a Wimbledon quarter-final. Alcaraz was strong and he is looking good and confident. I don't own a crystal ball but I think that both Djokovic and Alcaraz are too stable and focused to fail in the semi-finals. Everyone underestimated Carlos. They said he couldn't play great on the grass. He won the Queen's Tournament and is now in the Wimbledon final. He is not like next or new gen players. He has the qualities and fabric of the big three. He learns everything very quickly. He became a grass court specialist in three weeks. And I think he learned a lot in the Roland Garros semi-final against Novak. I think he might even win Wimbledon. These beastly forehands, this unbelievable speed, three weeks of returns to another level... I don't want to exaggerate but Carlos has quite a high chance in my opinion. Djokovic is djokovic and he is of course favourite but I am open to surprise.

It was like some next level tennis, I swear he knew exactly where Medvedev is going to direct his next shot. Crazy shit guys, that level of tennis is crazy. I won't be betting on the final though. It's anybody's match imho. Still I believe that if his body won't let him down this time he will beat Nole. BTW, Alcaraz can be the first ever person in history to win both the tournament right before Wimbledon (Queen's) and Wimbledon.

Well i won my bet on under games and it was pretty close due to Sinner missing those set points. But still Sinner got lucky to come to this stage of the tournament. The best player that he played during the tournament before Djokovic was Halys that is ranked 79th. I think that also had an effect on Sinner because he played only easy matches.

I think Carlos Alcaraz has no chance. Novak Djokovic will win another championship and show that he is the GOAT again. Djokovic, who broke another record by reaching the grand slam final for the 35th time, wants to reach the maximum number of championships before he retires. I see Djokovic, who has statistics that will not be approached for many years, as the heavy favorite in this match. No need to even consider any other option. Alcaraz did a great job beating Medvedev, but playing with Djokovic is something else entirely. These names may become champions after Djokovic retires, but for now, the legacy of the big three continues.
