The Boston Celtics extended their streak to 9 games. They have also won their last 2 away games and will play 6 games at home after playing their last away game on November 22 against Chicago.
Without their former coach they are still a better team, in fact, they get better now IMO, and that's probably due to their finals experience. On the opposite side, we have the Warriors struggling despite their good performance in the past NBA FInals. There is a recovery in Los Angeles Lakers, they closed their last 2 games with a win. He will play San Antonio on November 21 and I think he will beat the formless San Antonio as well.
Well, the Lakers are getting better, they move the ball well and Davis is beasting, hopefully they will continue winning so their chance in the playoffs is still good.

The number 1 and number 2 seed of the West is playing right now. Despite Utah Jazz playing back-to-back games they still look energetic and are in a good lead against the Portland Trail Blazers.
I am amazed though how big of a change these Trail Blazers become. The addition of Jerami Grant is a game-changer and so does their rookie Shaedon Sharpe who has been stepping up his game whenever he is given more minutes. Now Dame will just need to be healthy all season long to preserve their winning momentum. Their bench is deep but it's still better if he is present. The Utah Jazz won and retained its position as the top seed in the western conference. I was thinking that their start of the season lead was a fluke but here they are again still battling against all odds. Sometimes I think, that coaches should remind their players of their current stats. Early in the game Lillard and Simons wasted a lot of positions by throwing a lot of failed threes. Together they combined 5 out of 25. Portland Trailblazers is a playoff team now with Jerami Grant and Gary Payton II. An entertaining game against the two conference leaders, I was under the impression that Blazers will win it like a blowout as they are playing inside their home court. Got a good start in the first quarter but Jazz bounce and rally in the 2nd quarter, both teams are eager to win so that exchanges of rallies from time to time are really something that the fans will love to watch. Clarkson again shows his best and helps escape this game against the Blazers.

The best season for Clarkson so far, in that game, he took over in the 4th quarter to give the Jazz a comfortable lead, it looks like he already is the main man of the team, the previous 6th man of the year will likely become an all star this season. Their chemistry is really impressive, you can tell by looking at the scores distribution, I mean everyone is contributing on the floor.

In this case, the talent is in the team players themselves and maybe the new coach just made some simple changes in order for the players to still do the things that made them contenders the last season and with the current best record in the league, they are really working and might gonna be still the Eastern Conference representative in the NBA finals. With their next home games, I'm sure they will gonna improve their ranks once more and probably hold their records until the end of the season if no injuries will push them to the sideline for more than 2 weeks.

Utah is definitely doing weird right now. They have traded their stars away for a chance to get a great pick, and that’s understandable many teams do that, and some teams do not even look for a title anymore and just try to be at the bottom with a lot of picks. When was the last time you saw Detroit or Orlando be good? It’s clear that some teams just tank.
However, if they do not have those good players, and if they do not tank and have good picks, then what’s the point? What are they doing? Was those trades purely done because they just wanted to move on with new players and still achieve something? I do not think that they really wanted to do that neither.

And the Jazz won again, and their 2 best players is Clarkson and and Markkanen, again this Jazz really surprises us all in the West as they are top. Unfortunately, initially reports says that Dame might have reinjured himself again, aggravated that calf muscle that has been bothering him. So this is a bad news for the TrailBlazers whose also a revelation this season. They might have to play again without him for the next weeks and see how serious his injury is. Hopefully it is not and that he just needed some rest to be able to recuperate. Yeah, after I just said it, I saw him holding his right foot. The same foot that was strained recently, I think he needs to go back to the healing process so he could be 100 percent. Philadelphia 76ers Tyrese Maxey was also hurt. It was said that he will miss 3-4 weeks of play time due to a foot fracture. We might see more of these injuries in the upcoming days, the back-to-back games are starting to wear out their bodies. https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/35061021/sources-sixers-tyrese-maxey-miss-3-4-weeks-foot-fractureKyrie Irving's status now is questionable to play against the Grizzlies. His suspension is over, so there's a chance he will play.

On the other hand Dwight Howard was having fun in a Taiwan Basket League. He did a great job entertaining the crowd. I guess that was a sold out arena, all because of him. It's just funny how he took more 3s in that game than in his whole career in the NBA. Not a bad thing though, as he is exploring to expand his range. I was very surprised by the news when I first heard it. Dwight Howard could still find a place in many NBA teams, but I don't understand why no team signed him. In Taiwan, it's like a one man show. He's having fun and entertaining, and he's got a good contract. Normally, although there is an upper limit in the Taiwan League, a special law has been enacted for him and he is provided with a higher salary. I wonder what will happen to Carmelo Anthony. He may be a good bench player, but for some reason no team is willing to do so. There are also claims that he can go to one of the European leagues. Personally, I would love to continue watching him in the NBA. Carmelo is not gonna play outside the US. Him and Dwight are 2 completely different personalities. And he will be signed, once the NBA injuries start racking up and the season moves along a te that emerges as a contender will reach out. He isn't built for the entire season anymore so someone will snag him after the all star break. Nobody can guarantee that if he really won't play outside the US because if that's the case then he should have made a statement already that he won't be signing any teams outside the NBA. So, there is still a chance that he will play overseas if there's no team in the NBA that want to sign him. I think he's just waiting for somebody who will give him signs if he could sign before or after the All-Star week.

Lots of exciting games today. Cavaliers will meet Miami Heat. Houston Rockets versus the Warriors. Will this be the day where the Warriors will be lifting the curse out. They have not yet won a road game and I am not to underestimate the Rockets, but the Warriors should be able to win this in a blowout. I don't understand what is happening to them since they are winning their home games. Are they lacking the confidence when they are on the road? It's time to put an end to this dilemma. Klay Thompson is getting better in his rhythm. Let's see if there will be consistency.

Will this be another season that Lakers fail in even qualifying for playoffs?
Considering the current level of performance, they are really going that way for now. They are the second worst team in the Western Conference after Rockets now. Lebron is giving his best in every single game as usual. Now he has got a thigh injury and missed three games because of it already. If they have another very poor season then I assume Lebron might think of leaving in case he gets a reasonable offer. He is already waiting for playing beside his son and the team don't matter for him I assume.
Seriously not. Judging from their recent performance, yes they got a few wins along the way but they are still struggling to be consistent which is surely not enough to even qualify in the play-in tournament. And if that's already their limit then they should start rebuilding in the next season because their current roster won't get anywhere far. But they still have a chance to improve while the qualifying phase is still far, I'm thinking that they should stop revolving around Lebron because that's mostly where they messed up, Lebron end up working alone because they are following his play. Let Lebron adjust because there's no doubt that he can still contribute, let the other players step up so that they will be the ones who will end up carrying the team because Lebron cannot do that job anymore.

Kings to playoffs this season ? I could see this happening as they have a great core of players around Sabonis that could help him playing at its best and so far he delivers as Kings are 7th place in Western Conference. Raptors are also looking juicy this year and they have a hard game tonight against Hawks and I'm willing to take a bet against Raptors tonight and I can also watch the game live on my national TV as they have only 1 live game per night and this is the one they are having today and also taking Portland in 1st quarter because I can see them having a great run so they just need some balance in order to start at least a short winning streak. This might be the year they squeak in but it's a long time before anyone can start thinking playoffs, so many things shift the season. Like injuries and trades. You can see the west shaping up to be a tough conference to get through. If fox keeps playing like he has though they are gonna be fine. Him and sarongs are key to a good run.

Jazz knows how to win. Jordan Clarkson, Lauri Markkanen and Malik Beasley managed to beat Portland comfortably with their points. I think it was a comfortable game because they were always superior in all periods except the first period.
We must have watched a different Jazz vs Blazers game because there's no way you could say that's a comfortable win. They surrendered their big lead and almost lost. Blazers had the momentum in the fourth quarter but Jazz was bailed out by Clarkson in the final minutes.

Here are my picks for today's match
Phoenix Suns VS New York Knicks
The stake odds for this game are 1.40 for the Suns and 3.05 for the Knicks, Right now the Phoenix Suns have some issues with injuries Jae Crowder, Cameron Johnson, Landry Shamet and Chris Paul can not play for the Suns while Mitchell Robinson and Cam Reddish is questionable if they can play for the Knicks, for this one even though there are many injuries for the Suns I think they can manage to still win this,
Houston Rockets VS Golden State Warriors
The stake odds for this game are 4.60 for the Rockets and 1.22 for the Warriors, Right now there are no injuries for the Golden State Warriors only Andre Iguodala, so for this, we all know that the Rockets are not that great of a team but the Warriors will surely bounce back this, so my pick is obviously the Warriors,
Brooklyn Nets VS Memphis Grizzlies
The stake odds for this game are 1.32 for the Nets and 3.55 for the Grizzlies, right now T.J. Warren and Nicolas Claxton can not play for the Nets while Ja Morant, Desmond Bane, and Jaren Jackson Jr. can not play for the Grizzlies so that is why with the odds, so I am going with the Nets
Dallas Mavericks VS Denver Nuggets
The stake odds for this game are 1.20for the Dallas and 4.90 for the Nuggets, right now Jamal Murray and Nikla Jocic can not play for the Nuggets and Aaron Gordon is questionable if he can play for the Nuggets, while the Mavericks only have Maxi Kleber that can not play so my take here is the Mavericks is my pick,

Watched Raptors - Hawks game last night, it was one of the best matches this season. Almost went to double overtime but that last ball was clever and Hawks deserved the win. Trae Young led the team as always, but buzzer beater came from rookie A.J. Griffin. It was definitely his night. He should get more playing time to develop, he will be a good team player. Except the last ball, Raptors played good as well. I think both teams will be a big trouble to other East teams in the play-offs.

I agree with your point about Lebron. I hugely respect him and actually love his approach to basketball in the last 5-10 years, but he cannot carry the team anymore. He is just merely too old. That must be accepted by everyone, most of all Lebron. He is still a huge star but it is obvious that some things have to be changed for Lakers, and Lebron might be the biggest of them.

Yes, that three is now making a killing in Utah, I thought that Clarkson will be traded as well, but it seems he settled down very quick as the go to guy for the Jazz. And with the acquisition of Lauri Markkanen, they have turned into a great contender. But we will have to wait, the old Jazz team choke in the playoff, so we will see if the same will happen with the Jordan Clarkson lead Utah Jazz now. Hope that Lilard will come back, don't what to see him down again with the same injury.
I do not know if their lack of superstars will be a problem in the playoffs. They are unpredictable right now in the regular season. But it will be different when the post season is on. They will be playing in series so the opponent team have 7 games to crack down their defense and limit their offense. Usually, the superstars are important in these games since they are the go to guy whenever a team got stuck in offense. Is Jordan Clarkson ready for that role? Even if they lose or make an early exit in the playoffs, they already achieved so much as a rebuilding team. It is scary. If this is a rebuilding team, guess how strong they can be if they are a contender team with legit superstars in their roster. There is a recovery in Los Angeles Lakers, they closed their last 2 games with a win. He will play San Antonio on November 21 and I think he will beat the formless San Antonio as well.
If they win against the Spurs, they will have a winning streak which is a first this season. And doing that without Lebron in the game.
I guess the lack of a superstar is working great for the Jazz. Since there is no superstar that hogs the ball, they all get touches and a chance to contribute to a win. That is great basketball. In this scenario, the coach should get a credit as well since he brings out the best on his team even when they are on a rebuilding process.

Look, I confess that I also realized this... from some games, I saw that the Lakers had a little bit of improvement, but what will say if this is real or not... is consistency, I believe he will have to maintain this performance to know if this is a real improvement or not Regarding LeBron James, unfortunately he is getting old and doesn't have the same ability to "carry the team on his back" as he used to, he is still an all star player, but unfortunately age is coming for him

And the situation right now, is that even if Lebron is playing, they are still a bad team. So I doubt that they can make the adjustment, unless they do some trade before or after the All-Star Break to somewhat change the course. And we must have to admit that Lebron is really ageing, he can't carry a team no more like he was with the Cavs, wherein he has the team in his shoulder every game. Now, it's different, he takes care of his body, but sooner or later it will show the wear and tear, and nobody can beat Father time, just saying.

Also add the fact that they are in the Western Conference. I watched a video on ESPN (Youtube) regarding the possible position of Lakers right now and he said that the highest that they can achieve is 9th spot. Currently, they are now at the 14th spot though they won their last 2 games, still it is very awful to see. Even though we are seeing Westbrook playing better now compared to where it was last season, the Lakers are still in the 14th spot. I don't know if it's only me but the competition in the Western Conference is tougher than that in the East (only my own observation and other might see the other way around) and their roster? Let's face the truth that the current Lakers team right now isn't a playoff contender team. That 9th spot that he said is when their 3 all stars will play, but we expect that they will not play the whole 82 games, so I expect a lower ranking for them at the end of the season. Well, we know that Lebron will be 38 this year and he is on his post-prime years and a few years from now, he will retire so to those Laker fans out there, just accept the fact that they will not win a title unless they will change the whole roster.

The Warriors just ended the road curse. Steph Curry celebrating like a thorn was pulled out from his body. A lot of things have to be celebrated though and one of them is Klay Thompson who had been playing better in their last two games. He finished the game with 10/13 in 3-point shots, that's the Klay we loved to watch. Steph had 33 points and 15 assists. The splash brothers are back!

Yes, consistency is the key for them right now but I can see a hope for them. Last games were not so bad for them, I feel like we might see a little improvement in the at least short term.
Look, I confess that I also realized this... from some games, I saw that the Lakers had a little bit of improvement, but what will say if this is real or not... is consistency, I believe he will have to maintain this performance to know if this is a real improvement or not Regarding LeBron James, unfortunately he is getting old and doesn't have the same ability to "carry the team on his back" as he used to, he is still an all star player, but unfortunately age is coming for him It's not that LeBron already loses his capabilities to lift a team but more on the competition itself is more ready for LeBron, lots of stars who are now playing with high competition game. We will see if the consistency of Lakers will continue playing against the Spurs, they have the advantage in terms of papers but we never know how they will manage to beat the unpredictable Spurs.
