Lakers have started to improve their stats recently. They won four of their last five games. Last night they played against Spurs and won by 143-138. This was another game in which Lebron showed a great performance - 39 points, 11 rebounds. It was a game Lebron tried to carry again and things weren't going very well for them mostly in such cases. But they managed to win this one.

They almost lead the whole game, but the Spurs didn't give up, it was just a 5 point win for them. Stat line for James really look impressive as if we are seeing a still prime Lebron in Cleveland with those number.

But he has do it since Davis set out in this game. But it turns out to be a blessing for the team as we have seen Lebron again at his best to carry the Lakers in his shoulder with a good numbers.

Westbrook wasn't in the forefront much but I remember a time he had a problem with Collins. Collins made a foul and Westbrook's face was suddenly covered with blood. There was a high tension after that between these players. Apart from that I remember a time he made a nice alley-oop with Lebron. Maybe this might be a proof that they are getting along these days.

Yes, elbows in the face of Russ from Collins, but they call a technical foul of Russ for over-reacting. But I guess that is just normal reaction if someone is trying to hurt you in the game. Was good that Pat Bev is already suspended, if not this could very well escalated again.

Alperen Şengün's performance in Houston is mesmerizing. He had a nearly triple-double with 21 points, 19 rebounds and 7 assists, setting a career high rebound record. Together with Jalen Green, they led their team to victory. Houston has a promising roster, I can't understand why they're last in the West. The starting five in particular are not bad at all, but the bench rotation seems a bit lacking. They may be aiming to play in the lottery this season and get a good draft order. They also need to give good signals for next season. If Alperen or the other top 5 players are traded, we can talk about different things. They have a very young team apart from Eric Gordon. Maybe if there are 2 more veterans, the atmosphere of the team will change, it will become more balanced. There's a college team vibe right now. Good players, but lacking in experience.

I follow Rockets closely for a couple of season and I also think they might be getting intentionally bad scores for the lottery. Because there were some games that they could win but coach's decision affected the game in order for them to lose, I think. They must be aiming for a great team for around 2025 or 2026, we might see them in the conference final or the finals. As you mentioned, Jalen Green is doing splendidly and has a huge potential. Other young players as well. Also, about Alperen Sengun, I saw a stat today:

Even though Rockets are losing generally, Alperen Sengun is doing great for a 20 years old. His stats this season: 15.2 PPG, 9.1 RPG. Really not bad for a young kid who is a center. His passing ability is also great.

I'll admit that I don't know who Alperen Sengun is (sad for a big NBA fan) but I'll be doing my research as that is a hell of a statline.  When I first read this I thought to myself, ya, but the Rockets suck so it's not like he's got competition for shots.  Then I remembered what the 2005 Cavs looked like and I guess you could make that same statement about them.  Maybe it was a fluke game, maybe Sengun is the next big thing.  What I can say for certain is that anytime your name is mentioned along LeBron's in a basketball sense, it's a good thing for you.

It's because the Rockets has laden with a lot of rookies/sophomore like Jalen Green who are taking the limelight.

And so Sengun is force to be in the back seat most of the time, however, when you are talented, sooner or later you will have a break out game like he did and his numbers as comparable to Lebron. It doesn't mean though that he will be like James in the future, but definitely there is a potential for him. The Rockets team will just have to find a way to give him more minutes and exposure and obviously they have to keep on winning, otherwise this players talent are going to be wasted or maybe when they are traded or move to other teams, we will the talent.

He is definitely an entertaining basketball player for sure. He is talented, there is no doubt about that but not like giannis or jokic level talented, well to be fair they weren't this talented when they first started neither so it took time for them to get there, which means the door for Alpern to be MVP caliber neither, BUT the likely situation is that he won't be like that probably, plus he is not in a team that could be that good anytime soon.

However, considering how he plays, the stats are the least of what he does, like you see "assist" there but you do not see how it was behind the back or fast break assist from a centre, you see 2 points out of that 21 but you don't see how it was a ball dribling and fake out to another centre, dude plays like a point guard and it's amazing to watch. He fouls out very frequently though, his foul per game is just way too high.

The Golden State Warriors are smashing the Minnesota Timberwolves right now. Anthony Edwards currently has a +/- of -30. Clips of him standing in the corner doing nothing on offense are becoming more and more common. It’s pretty clear he’s unhappy in Minnesota and the Timberwolves better be careful or they’re going to lose their best prospect since Kevin Garnett. Edwards hasn’t been happy at all since the Gobert trade.

I really thought that the Dallas Mavericks would win this because at 1st they are getting a significant score lead but as the game progressed the Raptors advanced significantly and because of that their momentum turned the tables it was a quick recovery for the Raptors to get their lead change, it was really unexpected but Luka Doncic didn't even heat up in this game,

Although not on his usual numbers, Luka Doncic's production on that game is just fine for me. The problem here is not him not firing up much on that game but he really needs a boost from his teammates. Although some step up on that game, consistency is really the problem if we looked at the long-term.

With that loss against the Raptors, Dallas is now 0-4 this season when Luka scores less than 25 points. That was really a big issue that they need to address as we can't expect Luka to average 25PPG the whole season although he can.

Will stay away for now from the Mavericks' Moneyline and +6 spread on their upcoming game against the Milwaukee Bucks. Road games are currently tough for the Mavericks winning just 1 out of 6 road games even Luka is averaging 30+ points on those road games they lose.

The young star needs to keep showing his talent. If trade comes up and he has been chosen by another team and if fate permits that he will be part of the rotations, then the chance of seeing his improvement will be there.

Look how the Jazz new cores, they are part of the trades, and they are not the main scorers from the team they belonged, but look how improvements bring them to Jazz.

With enough playing time, those young stars will be able to create their own path from this league.

Man what is going on with my Chicago Bulls. Has anyone else been paying any attention to them lately , or I should say for this entire season so far.  More than ever we need Ball badly. Ayo and Patrick Williams are our two biggest young players that we really need to see more out of them.

Luka needs the help that he can get from his teammates, yeah we know that he can produce decent stats but the help would be the big factor in each game that they'll going to win.

They needed to address the productions of all the role players, unlike last season where Brunson
was there to help to lift the team when Luka needed him.

Now, they need someone to play on Brunson's shoes, a player who can step up when Luka is not

Well, you are right, the Mavericks are not consistent right now and Luka Doncic really needs the help he can get, and just like you I think I will be staying away in betting for the Mavericks right now even though the Rockets are gaining momentum as well, even though it is not consistent, it will surely be a hard predict if these two teams clash, and right now the Dallas Mavericks lost to Milwaukee Bucks as I predicted,

Agree with you on that, we should base it on numbers not that they are winning recently, maybe their past opponents are not that strong that's why they keep winning, but we will see if they'll continue to win if playing against the playoff teams. The Bucks won in a good lead against the Mavs. There was a time the Mavs got close to a 1-point deficit but they didn't get the lead at any point of the game. Giannis and Luka are like monsters fighting on the offensive end.

He has been getting help, unfortunately, in their last 4 games or so, those help are inconsistent, that is why they are in a losing skid.

Finney-Smith shooting from the side is not falling, same as with Dinwiddie, Powell and Bullock.

Jason Kidd also need to fit in Christian Wood as well, it seems that Wood is somewhat lost in the rotation of the Mavs and they have to take advantage of this big guy, to score inside and haul rebounds.

I like the way how Westbrook really accepts his role, he is just their playing and trying to keep his presence, both defense and offense

It was the king's comeback for the Los Angeles Lakers. LeBron James showed his difference in his second away game against the San Antonio Spurs. He finished the game with 39 points and 11 rebounds. This time, Anthony Davis did not play in this match, but Dennis Schoreder made a significant contribution to the team. All is well with the Los Angeles Lakers for now. He will now play both games in Los Angeles.

Lebron won't be enough, we all know that. But with Schroder, it is enough to win a game as long as he will have the best night of his life.
This is the Schroder that I have seen in the Eurobasket just months ago. The Lakers team might not be his countrymen, or he is not fighting for his country, but the honor is there. If he plays well, his countrymen are rejoicing about his success.
I cannot wait to see how much chemistry they can create when AD is back. With Schroder backing up the bench team, they won't have to worry whenever they need a rest.

Yes, the times has changed and the old Lebron cannot do what he have been doing for the past years. He can still be the biggest contributor and leads the team with the help of his experience throughout the years, but he need the rest of the team to deliver a win. Schroder is still adjusting because he have just joined the team late because of the injury he experienced, but I'll expect that he will do his best just like what he did in the Eurobasket. And he should be impressive this time if he wanted to have an extension.

He's been like that especially if he just got from a long rest because of some minor injury, it's like he's been itching to play again because of that long lay-off and producing big numbers while doing most of the work for the team whenever he got the chance to play again. But yes, that time, he really needed to do that because AD wasn't around and fortunately, a lot of them got good productions that night.
