It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Inbuilt NFC technology with Trezor would be very cool.
Watch the prototype video http://xbterminal.com

Supporting people with beautiful creative ideas. Bitcoin is because of the developers, exchanges, merchants, miners, investors, users, machines and blockchain technologies work together.

What I understand from the video is that that thing say to the phone : "pay x to y address"

I don't think it's a wallet

Is it described somewhere? Is it open source?
Did you try reading the OP?  I think it explains it pretty well and will answer most of your questions.

Just in case you don't know, OP means the original post, in other words the very first posting in this thread way back on page one.

Our family was terrorized by Homeland Security.  Read all about it here:  http://www.jmwagner.com/ and http://www.burtw.com/  Any donations to help us recover from the $300,000 in legal fees and forced donations to the Federal Asset Forfeiture slush fund are greatly appreciated!

Oh, then never mind, unless someone wants to learn about the device then I stand by my post - the OP is very good.

Trezor with a pos is certainly intriguing.

would love to by one but for up to 25$ (this metalic looks great but its a lot more expensive)
maybe in future

basically, Trezor (if implemented correctly) is a HSM (hardware security module). and if you check the market, there are no HSMs below $500. at least I couldn't find any. so (again, if Trezor is implemented correctly), the market for it is way bigger than just signing bitcoin transactions. basically, any application that needs block of data signed by private key stored in HSM could use Trezor if it is generalized enough.

It seems a great device and idea - But i cant help but think in an Apple wallet xD Not that i miss Appl, but their sleekness and design, integration, and such. For the average person the Trezor still seems a prop from Star Trek.
As soon as we push the Bitcoin Industry to new Billion Highs, the big players will want a chunk and things will become parabollic.

This space is for lease, apparently.

Trezor technology should be built into every smartphone.

Any significantly advanced cryptocurrency is indistinguishable from Ponzi Tulips.

Trezor technology should be built into every smartphone.

What I think would be really great would be an "offline" smartphone that does tx signing via QR code (would only be perfect if the *fee* in Bitcoin was not *implicit* unfortunately - a design *flaw* of Bitcoin IMO).

If said smartphone could also use QR codes to do "sign up/sign in" for websites we would have a very useful little device (and even better if it could do PGP/GPG encryption/decryption).

With CIYAM anyone can create 100% generated C++ web applications in literally minutes.

Please don't hijack the thread. If you want to talk about something else than TREZOR, please create a separate discussion.

Looks great and have been following project for a while now. Price needs to drop to below equivalent of $200 for non-rich to buy though, IMO.

WHEN WILL YOU SHIP?!

Two weeks™

We're seriously getting into Butterfly Labs territory here, original ship date was October 2013.
