I've spent a lot of time recently following the threads of some of the newer ICO coins and also following this thread. After reading their threads and reading and following this one, it is nice to see a thread with real info and posters that actually care of the coin and the community. Just bought 1m Verge.  It's better here.

There's too many coins for that to ever happen...............

The amount of coins need to be reduced for XVG to ever have the chance to be taken seriously.

Currently, this is a 100 satoshi coin at best.........................

This is meant to be constructive criticism...........
I hold XVG and want the best for it, however, the fact that there are that many coins is actually hurting the price of XVG needs to be taken in consideration......
Unless the supply is decreased, you will never see XVG take off and soar like it really deserves to.........
I want an XVG to be the equivalent of 1 USD but right now, that ain't going to happen........

correct. this isnt a price speculation thread. also we are halving shortly. the supply has been posted since the beginning. less coins will be produced, and the majority of XVG have already been produced.

okay, people are obviously very touchy when it comes to the coin supply.........
I mean, am sure one can still modify the amount should you choose too but that does not seem to be a welcomed option....
guess I will just have to hope for a miracle then for XVG to reach one USD.....

As you said, the specs were there from the start and it is what it is.

When other people finally realize (as they're starting to do now) what this coin really is.....the market will take care of price.
As much as Verge is up and down lately, that's just part of it's natural growth as it moves through what you laid out back in 2014.

I just added us to the BitSquare Exchange beta.. looks really interesting/promising. It's a completely decentralized exchange, running on tor.  

I have it running on my Windows and Linux boxes and it's pretty solid, i believe they are launching in 3 days..
