If you're using nVidia cards, then:
Samsung Micron Hynix (better return it)
I totaly agree with nvidia ..... stats sometimes even Micron is beter then samsung all 1080ti.s that i have are Micron Isn't GDDR5X only produced by Micron?

my asus strix r7 370 4gb gpu is very slow hashing. is there any solution? i tried some gpu bios mods but the gpus are always lower hash rate. thank you
Mine Expanse or other "low-age" dagger coins Zec is good also (should get ~ 180h/s)

nobody said there were even any hashrate improvements in the new version.
Under "Features", it has the same points from v9.7 (increased hashrate of 3-5%) which caused me pause as well. Apparently that claim only applies to 9.6>9.7 ? Since the same original post seems to be used with each update (I see pros and cons with that), it can lead to some confusion.

Hi guys currently I'm running version 9.7 with my 3 ASUS 580 Dual OC 8GB but the third card is giving me low rates (ETH + SIA). Any advice? setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0 setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool us1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal wallet -epsw x -dpool stratum+tcp://us-east.siamining.com:7777 -dwal Wallet -dcoin sia -dcri 25 ETH - Total Speed: 66.442 Mh/s, Total Shares: 12, Rejected: 0, Time: 00:17 ETH: GPU0 26.249 Mh/s, GPU1 25.969 Mh/s, GPU2 14.223 Mh/s SC - Total Speed: 1661.045 Mh/s, Total Shares: 132, Rejected: 1 SC: GPU0 656.226 Mh/s, GPU1 649.234 Mh/s, GPU2 355.585 Mh/s GPU0 t=0C fan=0%, GPU1 t=0C fan=0%, GPU2 t=0C fan=0% ETH: 08/03/17-16:34:30 - New job from us1.ethermine.org:4444 ETH - Total Speed: 63.288 Mh/s, Total Shares: 12, Rejected: 0, Time: 00:17 ETH: GPU0 25.077 Mh/s, GPU1 23.998 Mh/s, GPU2 14.213 Mh/s SC - Total Speed: 1582.193 Mh/s, Total Shares: 132, Rejected: 1 SC: GPU0 626.930 Mh/s, GPU1 599.940 Mh/s, GPU2 355.323 Mh/s Thanks!! Please provide gpu-z, PBE screenshots... How do you manage voltage and frequencies? We have the same exact cards so I would agree that you should check if Crossfire has accidentally been enabled - as this is usually the case if you're upgrading drivers as AMD like to enable them by default each and every time. What's your GPU settings? Did you just copy 1750 > 2000 timings? Reason is that I'm running 6x right now and with my settings, I get 28.5 tops per card @ current DAG and 540 Mh/s for sia @ 125w GPU-Z tdp.

I build and sell rigs! I also sell ssd clones of the most stable Windows+Claymore+AMD driver combo you'd ever used.

Someone pls put memory in order, from best to worst: samsung, micron, hynix, elpida
From my xp, there is no really rules. I've only Samsung and Hynix, and i've good and bad values in both. My best cards are on Samsung.

I have a RX 850, I changed clocks and voltages via -cclock, -mclock, -cvddc and -mvddc command line options (I set 1300, 1650, 950 and 950, defaults are 1365 and 1750, and I don't know cvddc and mvddc).
If I run the miner without command line options then the values are 1300 and 1650, not the default's card (I use GPU-Z to see this). If I restart the computer, or flash de GPU bios, nothing changes... This values are inmortals.... How can I change this?. I want the initial state.... If I change again with -cclock 1365 and -mclock 1750 (the initial values) it's Ok, changes, but values are "constants" in GPU-Z window. In the past changes all time during mining job...
Edit: I use Claymore 9.8, and drivers of RX580 are 17.7.2
