Hello All

Is there a way to auto reinvest profits from a trade rather than have them sit in BTC?

For example.

I buy 100 BTC for $100 (just as an example don't get too excited).
I sell the 100 BTC with a 1% gain at $101.
My next trade is then set to buy 101 BTC for $101 dollars....  and so on.

I do this manually already on a daily basis to build my portfolio but would like to automate this.

Any suggestions?

The only way I've figured is to have strategies running on several pair. When you set them up to start with a buy, put in several strategies on the different coins that are still waiting on a buy and set the buy amount larger than how much you have left over. Another way I leverage buys is to set up 5 strategies waiting to buy and allocate 30% of available funds to each pair. Seems to work pretty well. It will only buy with available funds so things keep churning. If all of the allocated funds are available the pair will take whatever you have setup for. Works pretty handy. Other than that, I just try to tend the garden as often as necessary and allocate 100% utilization when possible. If for example I have a nice sell come through and it has already bought before I get to see it I will take take the dust and throw it into a microcap pair.

We don't have this yet, but it is something we plan to add.

The proposed feature would just kill any account, regardless of the roll in it. It would be crazy to compound your trades as prices can easily go against, and you can be stuck for quite a while!

We've been hard at work to bring you 3 major new features: a new view based profit/loss indicator, a market scanner and twitter integration!

Major new features

• View based profit/loss indicator - calculates the P/L on the overlap of the trades in the current view
• Market scanner - view the top and worst performing coins, click on them and start trading!
• Twitter integration (add your twitter feed or search for trending topics)
• Huobi Pro support added

To activate the Market scanner and Twitter, open a new tool window - top left hand corner of margin

We also created a video that shows the new features: Youtube video link    

Minor new features and fixes

• Adapted the view-buttons in the chart to show candle-widths by default (old mode available by unchecking the option "Chart buttons show candle times" in the "General" settings tab)
• The dark-skin is now default
• The "active positions" list is now only shown for markets that actually support margin trading
• Adapted the order of actions in the right-click menu of strategy-tabs
• Fixed "bot stopped" notifications when bot is not actually stopped
• Fixed short position rendering in Poloniex margin trading
• Fixed that tool-tips were sometimes placed outside the screen
• Fixed several non-critical UI issues
• Fixed erroneous desktop notification when manually stopping or deleting a strategy
• Fixed saving of UI-settings (in particular splitter positions)
• Fixed issues with invisible tool windows

       

The Ubuntu Linux and arm/Raspberry-PI versions will be available tomorrow

For the people that bought the top of the line lifetime memberships on leonardo which tier of the lifetime version do we get? Basic standard or pro?

Smoothest upgrade across all exchanges I've ever had. I especially appreciate that the Stop on the strategy tab dropdown was moved to the bottom because no sooner had I gone to Resume the strategy -I fat fingered it and activated the first selection on the dropdown! I was gleefully surprised that you had slipped in this last moment integration. A big thanks!

Ubuntu CPU utilization is at least half it used to be and as much as 1/8 of what it used to be, depending on the types of strategies and number of pair per exchange.

Got my new HuobiPro keys today so as soon as I can register them on the margin site I'll be good to go.
