I wonder when the landslide will stop? Is it Iconomi who is dumping so much coins into the market to kill the price?

wondering the same too, must some big whales in urgent need of bitcoins, so they dump big. If it is the case, it is probably fine. If it had bad news, then it would suck.

Yeah, the sooner the whales get rid of their GB holdings, the better it is for Byteball. And this won't be repeated after the next airdrop because of the change in distribution. Overall, I am optimistic about price increase later on.

Yes, you can delete the byteball files.

Close the app.  Go to settings, then application, then byteball
- There is the option to clear the cache and/or to clear the data.   This will wipe out the wallet - so, be careful.

So, if you restart the app, it will think it is a brand new install.

Oh thank you so much. I have never thought of the "Clear Data" Option in the settings  Roll Eyes
I just created a new Multi-Device-Wallet. Worked flawlessly.

Thank you.

In the last ditribution I got byteballs but no blackbytes. Why?

Buy a Trezor and Protect your BTC, BCH, BTG, DASH, LTC, DGB, ZEC, ETH and ETC from hackers.

Agree. The problem is that is there other reasons besides this? hope not, I found this coin has a lot features, should be as good if not better than ethereum.

The issue with the price is that it is compared to the price of BTC since that is what it is traded against on the exchanges. However, if you look at the dollar value of Byteball it hasn't really changed all that much (ok it has a little).
So those who were just participants of the airdrop haven't really lost all that much (compared to the dollar), the problem is a bit more severe for those that have purchased Gbyte prior to the airdrop using BTC who are really feeling the pinch.

Most probably your byteball address was not linked that's why you didn't received any blackbytes.

I'm pretty sure the plummet is mostly due to the fact that people are dumping alts and jumping onto the recent BTC bullrun train.

ION, ByteBall is now 37 on CMC, down from 26 IIRC.

My address was linked. How could I have received the byteballs at that address if not linked. Never got the promised blackbytes.

I don't know why people keep asking about the price. It is the same as ever. Since the existing of altcoins.
When Bitcoin is pumped nearly all altcoins are falling.
When you go to Bittrex and watch "USDT-BTC" and "BTC-GBYTE" simultaneously you can see it clearly.

oh my fucking god Sad gbyte price keeps falling down without any obstacle  Huh Huh I bought a lot of gbyte when it was 0.1 bitcoin and new everything seems to be awful to me. Hope that the price will increase again before the next distributions. I can not believe that there are so many people dump their free coin
Remember-You didn`t lose,if you didn`t push sell button.

thats putting you fingers in your ears to avoid hearing.

the correct term is if you bought zero byteball and still havent used your coins you havent lost Smiley

I just noticed that it is again possible to link BTC addresses in the transition bot (previous airdrop periode is over). I think a lot of people who changed BTC addresses because of BCH/BCC extraction need to do this in order to participate in the next round.

If you made transactions after linking it, it is possible that your coins were moved to a change address, a new address created by your own wallet. You need to consolidate your coins into a single address.

Oh, yes. The website has this big counter, how could I miss it. Anyway I think I read somewhere that the developer said this is not 100% set in stone, I guess that's not the case anymore.

What do you recommend, I didn't get the last sentence. My concern is that I invested a lot of money when the price was 0.2BTC with a hope that the price will be higher and back to 0.3BTC because of the airdrop, but in fact the opposite happened and my money is now stucked in byteball and I'm thinking to hold them for another month to see if the price will increase, what do you think?

if bitcoin continues on its tear then i don't think there's any chance of it going back to 0.3 soon.

each distribution is bringing more and more of them into play. there's gonna be less to dump this time and people are more incentivized to hold or buy gbyte but i don't think it's enough to rise over three times in btc terms.

i think this coin has a lot of potential in the medium term but first it has to get rid of the freeloaders and bring some genuinely interested people on board. that might take a while.

We all need advice, we are not perfect, but in the crypto world everything can happen and I'm mostly worried about the exchange rate of byteball to bitcoin because I made the investment in bitcoin and If I could only hold the bitcoin without investing anywhere then I could be much more rich than I'm now holding the byteball which has -70% of it's value.
