EWBF miner 300 h/s 1080 61 C.... total power 73 %

So what...? With the price a 1080 cost I could get 3-4 rx470 so 600 to 800 sols/s  Roll Eyes

1070 can do 310 sol with 100watt, or 370 sol with 150watt, that is better than any amd out there, i'm still laughing thinking that there are poeple that believe amd is better...

This isn't brain surgery, rocket science, or even algebra.  It's simple division...

Card       Hash Rate    Wattage    Cost    Euro/Hash
R9 Fury   300 H/s        150W       $260     $0.86
1070       370 H/s        150W       $400     $1.08

Keep paying $1.08 per hash, I will pay $0.86.

You have not specified the right price Fury graphics cards. In the same shop in Germany graphics cards have the following price and price / performance is as follows:

Card                                                 hash rate      power       cost        $/Hash
R9 Fury (Sapphire Radeon Nitro R9 Fury Tri-X OC+ )   300 H/s        150W      346 Euro     1.153 Euro
1070 (Manli GeForce GTX1070 Ultimate)                   370 H/s        150W      419 Euro     1.13243 Euro
1070 (ZOTAC GeForce GTX1070 Mini)                        370 H/s        150W      443 Euro     1.197   Euro
1070 (Gigabyte GeForce GTX1070 Windforce OC )       370 H/s        150W      459 Euro     1.24  Euro

However, not all nVIDIA 1070 to  hashed 370 Sol / s. My EVGA can only  350 Sol/ s and a very overclocked.

Quick google gave me this:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202186&cm_re=fury_x-_-14-202-186-_-Product

They have much lower VAT there, typically 0-7%. And if in need for RMA they need to contact the manufacturer not the seller.

i have a very old HD7790 cards
this piece of sheet Wink gives
Code:
ZEC: 12/13/16-02:29:46 - New job from zec-ru1.dwarfpool.com:3333
target: 0x001ffffc (diff: 2048H)
ZEC - Total Speed: 171.054 H/s, Total Shares: 10100, Rejected: 70, Time: 48:54
ZEC: GPU0 85.628 H/s, GPU1 85.425 H/s

works perfectly on miner v9.1, win7x64, for 2 days w/o any troubles....

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radeon_HD_7000_Series
1000mhz cpu, 1500 mhz memory and only 896 cpu units.
one card takes 40w and another one 60w. so i guess 200-250w per system with 2 this cards.
and you can compare power to rx480 with 1266 mhz cpu, 2250mhz memory and 2304 cpu units.

in all benchmarks (WPA (56/200mh/s), FAH (50/250 PPD) etc) each rx480 gives about 3.5-5pcs of hd7790.
if ETH i can't get the hashrate because my cards is 1 gb, but on the net there are digits like 5-6mh/sec, so its 31/6=5.1 times...
and only in ZEC each rx480 gives 200/85=2.3 pcs of hd7790.
so, this digit looks very sad, like theoretical 2304/896=2.57 pcs....
i don't know why hd7790 works so good to compare to rx480, may be a very good core code for hd7790, or may be a very bad code for rx480, or may be i'm totally wrong in all Smiley

I got this on dwarfpool much today Sad ZEC:: No new jobs were received for 10 mins - something wrong with the pool, disconnect. What's wrong to many users or what? Think i gonna change again Sad

I noticed the same but it didnt affect me. I'm still getting 20% more in dwar than flypool. I will switch if the profit drops.

Add a failover pool, like flypol. In case of a failure in your main pool, you'll always be mining in an alternate pool

I would really love if someone could help me with an annoying issue.

I really dont know if it is the miner causing it, windows, or maybe the GPU...

For some reason, after a couple of hours mining perfectly, one gpu drops its mem clock from whatever stock setting it is to 300, which causes that gpu to mine a 1/5 % of the speed, usually around 47 sols/s (amd 470 4 gb modded). so I am constantly having to reinstall drivers, patch, etc, to get it work normally again, since simple restarts do not solve the problem.

I am using 6x 470 4gb cards, z97 gaming 5 mobo, 8gb ram, windows 8.1

Do you have a screen plugged in (or dummy plug)? If it's the 'out card' it could be a restful state issue that your power management is forcing the card into.

HI! yes, i keep a screen plugged in all the time. I always use the same port to connect the pc to the scree, i think its the first 16x port, I think it is also the only one that allows me to enter the BIOS settings.

Double check, I had the same 300MHz problem when I first set up my rigs, it turns out I had to have a monitor plugged in to the primary slot - for me that was the 2nd PCI e slot from the top (not the first 1x slot).

You get a new job when a block has been found. Yesterday it took 19 minutes between 2 blocks. The solution is for claymore to remove this check

It might be not good idea to remove.  It is better to go to failover than to stay mining for malfunction pool (if any issues there).

NOPE it does NOT apply to devfees ! it changes to SSL to "secure" the fees Tongue then when devfee round ends it goes back to so called unsecure.
all this while mining has been around for so long WITHOUT SSL at all.
imo, not needed.
heh, for sake of arguments, go look & see at all MUCH bigger BTC pools.
as many said, end of the day, it's just basically a deal btwn the creator & pool made ssl & secures the fees.

BTC does not use it because there is no software miners with dev fee. Easy. It is not needed for mining as such.

Quote
** to DWARFPOOL**

I hope you don't go into the so called SSL "secured" thing. More are coming to support your pool as it is a MUCH better pool without SSL all this while.
He has to go:
- This miner discriminates people who don't use SSL connection by higher fee (he call this "motivation to switch to SSL" - but why?);
- People want lower fee at best pools and demand SSL from pool operators;
- Pools want to have more miners and have to implement SSL.

I am not against of SSL as an option.
I am against of pushing people to use unnecessary things. I don't see any reason to "motivate" people to use SSL if they don't feel it necessary.

Can you guys help me. I have a problem with the miner. Yesterday my Zec total speed is 80-90H/s. When I restarted the PC it now becomes 12H/s.
How can I get back to 90H/s?

GPU: r7 260x -
I already tried v9.0, v9.1, v8.

use your intensity 2 or 3 or 4.

It's not working.  The only way I can get back to 90H/s is to get the GPU out, reinstall the driver.. Any other solution to this and what is the possible cause?

Hey guys, just wondering what your hashrates were for a 1070? I hear they hash at about 100 watts, but I can't seem to get a solid figure on hashrate.

With my RX 480's (on Clay's 9.1 miner), I'm doing about 230 sol/s at 1333/2100 with a decent under-volt.

So I'm thinking of building a new rig, and so I'm wondering if I should go with maybe 2 1070's. My power is already cheap, but at current zcash price, it takes me about 4 months to ROI on an RX 480. So would 1070's ROI faster?

What is your guys' hashrates with a 1070 on Claymore 9.1, and approx what is your power consumption? Thanks so much!

Actually... Just did the math myself. My electricity is too cheap to make any significant difference, unless I had like 10 rigs...

If I could get a 1070 for $350 or under, it would. I just saw a 1070 founder's edition sale on Amazon, but it ended November 30th.

$339 after rebate!! Wish I'd have known.

What is the best 1070 deal right now that you guys know of?
