Do you feel shameful for being a gambler?

i dont feel shameful, i just gamble occasionally and i always gamble with my own spare money, and whenever i gamble i always gamble responsibly and i never created any trouble because of my gambling activity, so i think i dont need to feel bad because i gamble

I done this gambling occasionally but still feeling shameful and never talk openly with friends and family because most of them not like them but I started few months ago silently mostly done on my computer never done practically around my place

I just gamble silently because i just want to be anonymous but never feel that to be shameful.
Im not so proud to be part of bitcoin and to gamble here anonymously and i am happy to part of this project.. that honsetly are giving more benefits as just a gamblers i never feel to be shameful..

I'm not ashame of being a gambler even in real world. I guess because of the environment where I live in.. in my country where gambling is legal so that's shy it's common for us to be a gambler. So for me, I'm not shameful about it.

as most of the people are not considering gambling as good activity, therefore most of the people are not playing it as openly, and like to play it anonymously, i think bitcoin is now providing opportunities to such people who do not want themselves to expose to people while playing gambling.

Yo, that's good to know man that you are not ashamed to be called a gambler, it is a privilege man that you can lose some amount of money that others can't. And for those gamblers that are ashamed just because sometimes they are losing big amount of money, they don't want others to know what is happening to their gambling career because that is disgusting to them.

No I don't feel shameful. I used to play poker and pay college with it, and every time I said that to some of my friends they would definitely show a strange expression, like thinking I'm addicted and don't know that I was doing, but I never really cared. Not all of them were like that. I guess some didn't understand which is normal, so it was there problem not mine really, so no reason to be shameful or hide it.

I don't feel shameful for doing gambling.Because it's my money, I can do anything whatever I like.I won't give importance to others word.My family and friends some times tell me about this, I just tell them to be quiet or leave the place.And I don't consider gambling as bad thing because I can control myself.

very honestly yes, i feel the shame as in my country gambling is totally banned therefore if i caught playing gambling it will be really feeling sham therefore i like to  play gambling online as no one can know about my identity there.

No, he means to say like if addicted to gambling then we may feel ashamed for being a gambler. When we are just using gambling for some purpose either for making profits or for entertaining then there will be no need to feel ashamed for being a gambler.

Maybe in his view being addicted alone will be the enough reason to get ashamed for being a gambler. I too do not find any wrong with that.

Or maybe he meant that gambling is a sin and hence one should be ashamed if he is earning money ? Actually gambling is like watching movies and playing sports like cricket and others and hence I do not see anything wrong in it personally. But yeah I once told my fiends and they looked towards me like I am a criminal lol when I told them I gamble often.

Those situations is real and people do really have different perceptions regarding on gambling and to the people who plays on it and we cant really blame them since its their belief but for us gambler we are just doing it just to have fun and satisfy our leisure times.Its not really bad to play gambling and its not a shameful thing unless if you are getting addicted on it and spending too much money without control.

I don't feel any shame telling to people of my circle that I am doing gambling regularly. Even my family knows why to feel shame when I am doing gambling with my own money. Others have no right to judge me as long as my gambling habit is not creating problems for them.

You might live in a place where everyone feel "it is okay if you are a regular gambler nothing wrong"
But if you live in an environment where gambling considered as a bad thing and people dislike it very much.
You may will never tell anyone about what you did,  it is really shameful thing to do.

If you are gambling for the sake of getting fun and do not risk your money on gambling and do not chase your money or others money in gambling then you are not doing any bad thing because you will not try to harm yourself to waste most of your money in gambling but you will only bet with that money which you will be able to afford for entertainment.

Yes being addicted must be an acceptable reason for treating a gambler to be ashamed for his action. Unfortunately many people are having common perception toward all gamblers, that is really indigestible and honestly it is hurting me for being a gambler sometimes.

Even I got addicted to gambling, I am not ready to agree that I need to feel ashamed for being a gambler because I'm not doing illegal things like robbery or anything. I just spend my money for my entertainment.

In my country, people do not judge someone if he gambles or joins a casino. People here accept gambling and consider it as a type of entertainment such as watching TV, playing sports, etc. And gamblers here do not feel shameful at all I love my country. Gamblers should visit my country at least one time in their life

Regardless of our aim in gambling we have the right to gamble and not to be ashamed of it as long as we do not steal the money we use in gambling, it's our money so it's our decision on how to use it. It has been noted than gambling is just a form of entertainment and as a person we have all the right to be entertain to relieve the stress in life.
