I see the price is rising with declining volume since the recent low of ~$9200

Price going up, volume going down.....

Looking at Bitfinex 6hr chart.

What is your interpretation of this ?

Less demand at higher prices.

Yep, I edited my post above to include this little nugget :

The bear is back....

When the volume decrease, it means that the price movement is less significant

So more than being bearish, it means that it's getting less bullish.

Legit hoping for lower prices. In the long term the trend is up and I can sustain myself with side business, so low prices just means more coins.

Volume is still quite the double of usual pre-ATH time:

Seems consistent with a consolidation phase.

Could well be, just looks a little unusual as it's so pronounced over the last few days.

Of course this is Bitcoin and the last few days are far from normal, even by Bitcoin standards...

In a sense u would like to see sub-10k bitcoin as well (if I had the funds to buy up more, which I don't). But I'm afraid we won't see a sub-10k bitcoin again. I'm pretty bullish short term. However if we do go sub 10k again we might be in for a longer bearish maket.

I recall hearing that in December. We were done, never again they said. Perhaps in casting predictions we should find an iota of modesty...

The smart move going forward is probably to sell certain amounts at predetermined levels, similar to what jbreher does.

Note - I don't so much 'sell certain amounts at predetermined levels', so much as I buy when it goes down, and sell when it goes up. The objective is to capitalize on the volatility.

So, yeah - I do 'sell certain amounts at predetermined levels', but if you omit the 'buy certain amounts at predetermined levels', it kinda occludes the entire plan.
