I must confess, I was a little tempted to buy some EOS, but the feeling that we'll see more tears in the next 12h just won't leave me.

Shut the fuck up with your 'tears' already, Bittard. What are you, 12?

I can't help it, bitcoiner tears are one of the best parts in gambling with cryptos. I don't mean to sound bitter, cold, or cruel, but I am, so that's how it comes out.

I really can't.. bitcoiners could help me by being a little less entitled, self-righteous, greedy and dumb. Maybe then their tears wouldn't taste so good? Who knows..

I have  nuclear physicists' comments on fusion. real and now.    Exaggerated news articles in usa media like arstechnica and other americans msm news ..LOL.. usa in own nature dont like free energy or other forms .. usa need vassals..slaves to blackmailing.. free energy is anti-usa "security" for us state

We CRAZY away from it to some form of  fusion and production of electricity was reliable! maybe 2050
there is four way to "go"
        Polywell
        Dense Plasma Focus
        Laser Fast Ignition
         Z-pinch
And there have one BIG problem for all this: "bremsstrahlung" there is not exactly english text becouse germans scientist.))

  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polywell
  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dense_plasma_focus
  http://www.hiperlaser.org/
  http://www.sandia.gov/z-machine/?p=59
And : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aneutronic_fusion

p-11B Wink

All research in recent years has stagnated. But states/nations  in the world produce research independently and secretly... Why ? read mi first two long sentences.. Grin
the biggest powerhouse of the fusion power will be Asia wheere live 3 billions people .. soo by more reliable for them invest in this fusion energy ,, in relative low density population countries and big size will low.

from that "asteroids mining" i will not comment..is utter low.. sci-fi for this century or more

Funny to hear it from someone who sold BTC in 2015. You have already failed by not hodling until december 2017... but I bet you will feel even worse soon when BTC will hit $100k.  Grin

You are mistaken with something. I stopped playing with BTC in 2013, not 2015. It has been a profitable decision.

Let be the volume, let's shake this market for good. I did my buys at the bottom  and I never was so convinced of saving my savings from utter depreciation. What bothers  me the most? I still have to wear a tie

For those of you comparing gold to bitcoin, don’t.

The gold price is suppressed because gold is too easy to mine with modern mining techniques. Gold has a supply problem, there is too much of it.  We have mined far more gold since 1950 than we have in all of history, and that has flooded the market.

Quote
The best estimates currently available suggest that around 190,040 tonnes of gold has been mined throughout history, of which around two-thirds has been mined since 1950.

Source:  https://www.gold.org/about-gold/gold-supply/gold-mining/how-much-gold-has-been-mined

Further there are too many planned mine expansions.  A single planned mine expansion in Australia (BHP Olympic Dam) would yield 15,000 tonnes of gold and 90,000 tonnes of silver.  That’s almost 10% of historical global supply from a single mine. No market can absorb that type of new supply without collapsing the price.

So ignore the 4th dimension conspiracy bullshit, because the author doesn’t know how supply and demand works in the gold market.

Bitcoin is scarce.  Gold is as common as dirt.

The point of the article is the price suppression via futures trading that cannot be denied. There is an ultimate correlation between futures and price suppression. If they manage to build greater volume on those f*c*king contracts we will have a problem.
Good thing is Bitcoin is not gold, bitcoin is not behind cages but free on the internet.!

We can easily find out if your decision was profitable or not - please let us know how many BTC you owned and the price you sold them for. Then compare it to the December 2017 price and calculate your losses  Grin   I bet you feel butthurt and can't wait for BTC to hit $2k so you can rebuy. But no, that's not gonna happen...

The polarity here and the unequivocal confidence that each party is 100% right, is amazing.

Nice try, friendo, but the detailed numbers of my little gambling funds will remain private. I shared the same fortune as anyone who bought potential alts instead of bitcoin. Even LTC has had a lot better gains and LTC is almost as old and outdated as BTC. Only the BTC cultists seem blind of the fact that there aren't many cryptos out there that earn less then BTC during bull markets.

Denial is the current dominating sentiment.

I fear that is correct. However unpalatable it may be, BTC is headed for ~$1500. It will take a year or two of arguments and pain, false dawns , rises + dips and becalmed prices at times.

However , in the end it will be a positive development for Crypto. Regulation, infrastructure, adoption and acceptance will have to take place without the frantic price speculation. That will ensure that only real development will take place, as the speculators will be steadily burnt out.

IMO only of course.
