Just because I find war abhorrent, doesn't mean I also find diplomacy, education, research, infrastructure, healthcare, etc. abhorrent.

I vote my conscience and try to inform others on issues important to me. Society is ultimately responsible for who we allow to lead, whether that is who directs our wars or who regulates our financial systems.

Bitcoin will not succeed without society's backing. That means paying your taxes fairly and avoiding criminality. For some, this might require renouncing citizenship and moving to a more tolerable jurisdiction. So be it.

The yearning for a jurisdiction to which I can peaceably submit is pretty much the story of my adult life.

I am not actually a rebel by temperament.  I am a farmer or mechanic really.  I would love nothing more than to contribute peacefully, particularly as I age.  That I could do so without signing my consent to these atrocities.  They can compel my behavior.  They posses the monopoly on violence.  What they lack the power to compel is my consent.

The problem is that right now the enemies believe to be strong enough to take us on... time to send them back to the bronze age... no more oil, no more food, no more exports, no more made in china, no more jobs... to the end.

Hi, Around January 7th I took out a loan against the house and I invested 12000$ in crypto and today of that 12k I have 1650$ left. I cant sleep at night. I am in a heavy depression. I bought everything at all time high and bought shitcoins such as verge trx poet paccoin and good coins- cardano. all my coins dropped hard. verge and trx recovered but i sold at 400 satoshi respectively. My goal is to at least be at neither positive or negatively. It will be my paradise if that happens. I need someone with years of financial experience to point me in the right direction to avoid losing 300k home and not end up on the street. This is not a cry for attention. Please do not be disrespectful and inhumane because in my last thread not only did I not get an answer I got laughed at and told that I got what I deserved hoping I will end up on the street and it really hurt my feelings because like everyone of you, I just want a chance at financial freedom. I want to provide for my family and make a difference in this world. I am still relatively young and I told myself if I ever achieve my ultimate goal my next goal is to help others in need. Please Help! Do you suggest for me to take out another private loan on my house for 10 000$ or should I work with what I have left? Thank you for your consideration and I truly value your time, reddit.

There is probably many of these situations where people borrowed money to buy crypto or mining equipment and will panic sell and cause market to go even lower.

it's painful to watch. i'm nervously bullish but i've been waiting for the bottom to fall out for quite a while. bears had momentum and time, but price is so tight now and volume never came in.

The income tax is criminality.  It does not support diplomacy education research infrastructure healthcare or any of thos things, it goes to paying interest on a debt that is virtually unpayable, created by very criminal global bankers.  Spending of our government is totally supported by inflating the money so that it is worth less and less every year.

Every person should avoid paying income tax because it is illegal on many levels, if they can do so without being locked up and robbed at gunpoint.

Sadly, it’s hard to argue with this. This is what has drawn so many of us to Bitcoin in the first place and why I HODL for the most part, giving directly to charities and family to reduce the tax bill.

But for all y’all weak-handed speculators who drove the price down in the first place, pay your fucking taxes or they may even take Bitcoin from us.

These type of threads come up on reddit quite a bit, and they are almost always complete bs. Just FUDsters making up crap.

And anyway, anyone who can afford a $300K mortgage can most certainly tighten up and save enough to pay of that $12K loan within a few years. Hell he could even roll it over into a 0% interest, 18-month same-as-cash credit card for that matter.
