Guys, did you see tits this... If you look closely, there's a W... W for Win ... W for Wall observer

https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/10du9y2/if_you_look_closely_theres_a_w_so_this_means_a/

Well, those are tiny tits if you zoom it out.
I like bigger ones.
The Bigger it is, the more sats accumulation  Wink
JJG Does more DCA, while Phil mines more sats while it gets bigger  Roll Eyes

doing some coin distributions to my partners today.

this 21k number is good for the mine.

we added over 435 + 190 + 88 + 105 + 105 =  923 th since last fall. price and diff is up , but the low power purchased and the 280kwatt solar field have the btc part of the mine in good shape.

I finally decided to list some gpus and replace with more btc gear.
I estimate we can add 8 more s19's this year.

Yeah, they'll counter that they have Ubuntu running in a VM on it  Grin
Seriously though if one needs to run a Mac application - for example for the job - I get it, as the other way around (running MacOS in a VM on a non-Apple host) is close to impossible.

True.

But when I was an IT consultant, the irony was that all the devs I knew that had Apple laptops had to run a VM with Windows for their job, because every client required it for security and network access. All their dev client tools were Windows based. And they spent literally all day long in that Windows VM doing coding, db stuff, and even emails/meetings. And to use their Apple laptops at work, many had to jump through extra hoops to get special permission from the client's security/network team to get their Apple laptop approved. Many times the client would just say, "Nope. Not gonna happen." and issue them an approved Windows laptop for development.

So what was the point of running an Apple laptop then? They never wanted to admit it was just some sort of weird flex, or easy sync with their iPhones.  Roll Eyes Apple laptops aren't even that great anymore.

Apple cult fanboys are the worst. They will justify anything.

Couldn't agree more.
And when you ask one of these hackers why they have a Mac they will tell you how slick the Macbook XY is, how long the battery lasts and what a joy the keyboard is and on top of that it's so incredibly fast. Also they let you know that they found Apple not to be that bad (I agree somewhat on the level where burglars are not as bad as massmurderers) and that MacOS is actually pretty nifty and cool and it doesn't stop there you can even run windows on it..
Had these chats, don't miss them.

If security is really a priority for a system, I use OpenBSD as it comes already pretty hardened and locked down and the code is getting constantly audits.

...which isn't even an excuse for not using Linux anyway. If you love the Macbook XYZ so much just put a Linux distro on it and watch it run even smoother than MacOS...

If you want to run Linux then don't buy expensive machines for it, as it doesn't require latest and expensive hardware. MAC is expensive device and should be used for MacOS
I have a laptop that is 10 years old and works fine with Ubuntu 20.4. I have old hardware but latest operating system.
Laptops in my country are too expensive now. Thanks to Ubuntu I am perfectly fine with my Ubuntu.

Ok now is starting to look like bull flag on short-term time-frame, after failing ascending triangle break-out. Still expecting a fake-out to higher levels above $21.5K but this ain't no shorting range.

if that's not a good price point to short what is?
this has been one hell of a pop, I fully expect a strong pull back, maybe even retesting 15.5k.

When it breaks down from the bull flag. Not within it, unless you're scalping resistance to support that is, as it's a bullish continuation pattern until proven otherwise.

If we go back down to $15.5K, you can expect much lower than that though.

either way if it breaks up sell because the move is way over extended, or if it breaks down short cuz its going down.

[edited]

thanks this was helpful. but I personally will continuing to sell into this rally. I really don't think we will see a repeat of April 2019, the capitulation this time didn't push price That far under fair value. and for the record, i'm not shorting, just spot trading, so i cannot be liquidated.

Ok well that makes my point about shorting redundant then. If you're looking for a fair price to sell from the past 6+ months of trading at the lows then you certainly found it, can't argue with that. DCA would have got you an average price of around $19.5K, so hopefully you're selling a profit. And as the old saying goes, nobody ever went broke selling at a profit. I just hope you aren't banking on pricing falling lower after this, because right now it looks like a coin flip to me as well as others, until there is further confirmation to the upside or downside. Not sure what your "fair price" is, but right now realized price is sub $20K.

Personally I think Bitcoin is due a 10% correction to around $19K, which is bottom of the previous accumulation zone, that'd also be my short-term shorting target (as well as a target for longs). If price instead continued onto around $25K then I'd expect a deeper correction of around 20%, but therefore this'd be a higher price around $19.5K / 200 DMA. Likewise if for some crazy reason price went further parabolic to $30K, I'd expect a 30% correction to around $21K / current prices. The irony being that price continuing to the upside would deserve a deeper correction for sure, but these prices would still likely be higher.

ya I was buying the dip and sold at a profit, maybe i jumped the gun a little... I'm not banking on it going back down, but I would Like to have the opportunity to buy back it lower.

fair price is very subjective, its just a gut feeling about just how over valued or under valued btc is compared to my gut feeling, a self calculated indicator if you will.

I agree the higher this move takes us the deeper the correction. I just don't see that happening, I expect range trading around "fair value" with dips that could go as far as channeling 15.5K ( maybe not in the immediate short term maybe a couple months form now )

While doing a tiny bit of wallet maintenance today I discovered something strange

I did a little digging and some searching and I found that disgraced user naim027 had a short stint running a lending service; the repayment address was: 18HfvLNNsZdMZeXmyKg59AfG7n4d1ibKRU (as posted here)
which on 9/14/2022 @ 12:24:14 transferred a small amount of bitcoin to this address: bc1qw0qsvzuxgmyqvc6mcaqw77v3sd9jt0lppcxkn6
which on 9/23/2022 @ 24:14:25 transferred most of that amount to this adress: bc1qy4ta9wtwufm3d56tqrys3wh50q7fmd7p0g0z6n
which on 9/23/2022 @ 24:28:50 dispersed ~0.00005 BTC to each of the following users at their publicly posted addresses -

I'm not sure what naim027 is up to nor would I trust any answer from him but I did not request his dust.  This dust can be used to track future transactions and potentially deanonymize you.  It's probably a good idea to freeze the UTXO associated with this tx to make sure it never gets spent.  Hopefully the rest of you either caught it already or have not yet transacted using that UTXO.

He doesn't inspire much confidence (including the multiple alt accounts that were hidden and then revealed and even barely getting unbanned and some weird stuff like that) that's for sure.

Jay, do You know what is the most relaxing thing on earth?

The most relaxing thing is when you don't have to impress anyone.
Not friends, Not Family, Not society, and Girlfriend or Boyfriend.
Losing all hope is the ultimate freedom.

I don't care about what people say about me.
I know who I am and what I am. I may look bad in front of you guys. But, I know that no one loses anything because of me. If someone did, I will pay for it even if it takes my whole life.

The internet is too harsh. No one ever listened to me. No one.
No one tried to put my shoes on them. I don't blame anyone. That is the reality.

Whatever, Good luck WO Bros!

That’s true but those shady characters should not ruin your party, you should have fun and ignore the bad eggs.

Losing all hope is the ultimate freedom.

Hey dude chill out… we don’t know you personally, you are just a random person on internet like many others, your image and your perception here on others is created by you.

Let me ignore everything about you for awhile “loosing all hope”?? Come on dude, looks like you are taking this to heart… it’s not like that.

This is a forum to discuss bitcoin, we are here to discuss bitcoin, not people. I’m 100% sure if you bring some valuable info, people will still listen to you.

Stop justifying what happened in the past, accept and move on.

Last thing, please select one, one of your alts and stick to it… stop jumping from one to another… select one and leave rest once and for all.
