Manually applied by administration after 50 BTC donation, and gets 5 gold coins under his name
of which the last is half purple. 5 coins are shown regardless of post count when user is a VIP.

But to become legendary does not exist a certain number of activities who decides it? .

Legendary:        Activity: the Legendary membergroup has no universal activity requirement.
You are guaranteed to become Legendary somewhere between 775 and 1030 activity,
but the exact point in this range at which you become Legendary is random per user.
Gets 5 gold coins under his name of which the last is half dark blue.

Hi, you need 30 activity points. So, at least, you have to wait 6 weeks if you're active enough on the forum.

actually i did it in 18 days. i guess it depends when the activity get's updated. If you're here for the airdrops then please don't spam

It took me 17 days.

The activity number is determined in this way:
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

So, you would need to be active at least 2 weeks, before you can become a Jr. Member

Yes. After you reach 30 posts, your rank will be set automatically to Junior Member. It's not that hard to make 30 posts. It will take you a few hours if you enjoy posting here on Bitcointalk. I personally, enjoy it.

If someone is not active for a longer period, does he remain the rank or does a downgrade mechanism exist?

Your rank go down if your posts are deleted. It doesn't happen really often unless you post in low quality threads.
