Although it has a good and bright helpful side but many antisocial people choose the dark side of the bitcoin and doing their criminal activities. Many criminal activities like kidnapping, murdering, child labourring, pronography, cyber crime etc. Anti money laundering is of the serious issue  which related with bitcoin. Many politicians, business using bitcoin transaction to hide their black money transaction. Terrorist organisation also doing money transaction through bitcoin.

I have just watched a facebook video exposing some scam using bitcoin - the guys said that criminals give 10% of all the money they laundered with exchange (possibly private exchange) so if they laundered 10 million dollars worth of bitcoin, the exchange get 1 million worth.

Bitcoin has disadvantage in very aspect of it because of the lack of regulation. We cannot blame the system but rather the people who uses it. It is really disappointing to hear news like these as it making the PR bad and lead to many more rumors and "claims" about cryptocurrency.

Maybe, this case just happened before the BTC-e exchange got banned from FBI U.S. I remember after that time, Bitcoin wasn't the cryptocurrency for criminal. In that time, the biggest mixer service also closed their service  to want the ecosystem of Bitcoin be good more, it's BitMixer.
