I wouldnt say increase. Its more of it made it easier for them and made it harder for the authorities to apprehend them. The number of criminals is difficult to estimate at the same time, you cannot gauge the direct correlation of such an increase to crypto.

Many public misconceptions about the many uses of Bitcoin by criminals, but the thought is wrong thinking. This thinking is caused by the many people who think that Bitcoin is anonymous, when in fact Bitcoin is very opposite to it

I think the company of bitcoin does not tolerate all criminality or illegal activities which deals using of their product in the market. It is actually happening even before the popularity of bitcoin increases up to this time.

Criminality is always there even before bitcoin. But bitcoin has security program that can secure you and your money. And it is always updating.

I think bitcoin's security is not the issue here. It's about bitcoin itself when it is being used as tool for payment for illicit activities anywhere around the world.
For me, bitcoin is really a perfect tool for criminals because they can not be traced since the blockchain is very anonymous. Bitcoin can also be used to fund terrorism and can make you to evade tax from government agencies.

Even if bitcoin is used in criminality and illegal stuffs like selling illegal drugs or anything like that, It is the same as flat they are also used and before the blockchain and other digital assets were created money is used on illegal stuff far wider than bitcoin. And one more thing you're not anonymous when you're using a digital currencies because all your transactions are public and anyone can view it. If you want to transfer or trade your bitcoins to cash you'll need an identification card and you're not anonymous anymore when you do it unless you won't withdraw or trade your digital assets to cash and no one will do that because everyone needs money.

Yes I believe in that because I know that bitcoin can be used in every transaction to buy something that's illegal like cocaine and heroin,
Because of bitcoin's anonymity they could buy it without even giving their information.

all the good things has an opposite things such as bad,and i admit that together with this issue is the reality that bitcoin has been used to support some criminal activities without being traced because bitcoin and the whi crypto is decentralized and secured that no one knows when,where and how the funds come and go

Bitcoin and other digital currencies can be used by anyone and anywhere as long as they have their internet connection so we can just blame it on Bitcoin when it is used by the criminals. Fiats can be also used in crimes, in fact it is the most common, still it is not banned by a lot of countries. Saying that, it is not the reason why countries are banning bitcoin. It is because Bitcoin is a digital currency.

I'm not sure how we can be so sure about the criminal activities and the bitcoin use in it. I mean though bitcoin is said to be anonymous and decentralised stuff still it can be revealed with many technical flaws. If the police knows very well that there are people engaged in the criminal activity then they should track them down do the needful action on them. That's the solution and whatever bitcoins are ceased in the process can be recirculated in the main stream. This is the same way as they do with the fiat which is suspect of criminal acts.

Actually it is not only bitcoin that are being used for criminality issues, I think even fiat currencies or real gold bar could also be used as funds related to criminality, It is just authorities of some countries trying their best to find faults with bitcoin and by creating negative news about bitcoin, it may discourage some people to use bitcoin as a payment option.

criminals use all there available resources for there evil doings. Because of bitcoins popularity they are taking advantage of it by scamming other people who is willing to invest without any knowledge in bitcoin. I think that they also using bitcoin for money laundering. They can also transact using bitcoin without being tracked.

Criminal activities can not be attributed with BTC.It depends upon you how you use your BTC Wallet for payments.If you purchase drugs,or other illegal things its your faults not BTC.Secondly everything has right & wrong direction.It depends upon its usage.One can use it according to ones requirement.So linking BTC with criminality is out of question or you can say that its your folly to do so.Be positive and use in a constructive way.

I think that criminals are using bitcoin to buy fuel and weapons to fight politics so they can freely commit crimes.In addition, those who are also high-ranking in work are willing to use the proceeds from bitcoin income to commit bribes to be guilty of not being mistaken and free from legal action.That is the bitcoin's disadvantage if it is misused by criminals and irresponsible people.
