I got 0,01535440 BTC after 21hours (nicehash)

Seems about right.

I am pleased with the stable 17+gh, have not checked the power draw.  Has anyone metered these yet to see the pull.  It's rated at 1200w but have seen some people claim there's are drawing more in the 900-1000 range.  If so that's nice.  More hash power, less draw then rated.  Please post if you have checked the power at the wall thanks.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Even batch 1 ROI is already over a month per machine just to keep things in perspective so no one gets unrealistic expectations.
People are banging down Cryptocrane's door to pay him $8,000 -9.900 for D3's. Dash Diff just gained 2.5 million in 3 days and is just shy of 5 million already. Daily profit on the single coin is $50.00. Yes, I'd say people have "unrealistic expectations". But you can't tell them anything. The only thing people hate more than poetry, is the truth.

While I agree with the unreasonable demands difficulty hasn't gone completely haywire.  I track net diff from the DASH explorer (explorer.dash.com) it's increasing and a straight polynomial forecast doesn't bode great for the future but its not horrific:

Also note that I expect diff to flatten out between batches of miners.  And there are other X11 coins out there to grab and expand your portfolio with - even new ones like PURE and Helium.

Can you please post the image in better resolution? This one is quite blurry.

Here you go:

You can zoom into it from there.

that looks like bitmain's penis entering dash......oh wait.....

Lmao I needed that laugh Tai thank you.

Why would they when people are selling september batch D3's for like 6-7k?

set your username as a DASH address and put c=DASH as your password

Just make sure you check your wallet stats and that it shows as DASH after you've connected your miner

I think bitmain interface does stratum+tcp:// by default... (still waiting for mine to be delivered today) so x11.mine.zpool.ca:3533 should work just fine.

It's actually way worse than all that. Not only did they take full advantage of their monopoly on the ASIC market through selling the servers, They mined the everloving shit out of them before releasing them for sale. That guy Cryptocrane did a video of unpacking his D3 and the bastard had the dust from the mining farm all over it still!! They didn't even bother to clean it off. They ran the 16nm technology while the profits were fat and then dumped them all over the street. I'm sure they will be mining 7nm tech as soon as they can and we won't be able to buy it until they're done milking the teet.

While there isn't definitive proof of that -- their facilities could be absolutely filthy, for all we know, after all, it IS China we're talking about -- they are only interested in it for the $$$, so that's entirely possible.

That said ...... I'd estimate at least 75% of the people who ordered D3s for themselves aren't in it for the benefit of the X11 blockchain.

There is plenty of "greed" to go around.  After all, that's why miners mine.

M

I'm skeptical that they are assembling hardware in such a dusty environment. The dust was very visible on the intake side fan. Give it a look. I have no doubt that these miners are arriving with many hours of hashing on them.

i can say you are right sir.
i got a BTC miner, S9, arrived few days back. On the small sticker, it was marked 7 ie JULY. So from July until middle September, it was trashed as force labour to work in the filthy mine of Bitmain/Antpool.
Very visible scratches can be seen on the aluminium body, the fan and near the control board.

My D3s have a tendency for a hashboard to drop to xxxxxxxxxxx then return to oooooooooo which causes the difficulty to move around all day.  In turn it causes AwesomeMiner to show dramatic movements in $ per day estimates on the dashboard screen.   It is not an AwesomeMiner problem.

I've been using Wachete service to monitor income that one Antminer D3 can produce in a month. The snapshots were taken from Cryptocompare with electricity cost $0.26 per kWt. You can see the chart from July.
