Yes thats true. Once you setup the software will have a short look in your wallet to see if there are any coins there. Is a procedure to verify the connection itself works. But is all comes back empty then the software thinks it not connected.

I was sad when Steph stated no new indicators.  I want a plain moving average.

Its been a bumpy ride trying to find a setting, think I found something.  Its been running smooth now for 43.6 hours without BTC price ditching it.

Bah, BTC just juked me.  Bot sold at a $6 gain in BTC Price, then Btc kept going up.  Its now well above my 'min currency drop'

But things are going well here, i just put a hold on the sales of the Simple Trade Bot to avoid getting a lot of sales on the last moment. I am very sure this would have happens if i posted this.

Try new api keys, make sure you checked the "trade" "info" and "save" when you made the keys

Is the trade server a service that must always connect to you or is it a software we can run on our own computers without being watched?

I am not interested in another "service" where all my trades and progress is reported back to you.

A trial has not been planned, but maybe i will add it later on. Do not worry, there will be a lot of information available about the new software (including some reviews are to be expected very soon, its being reviewed as we speak now)

You are pointing out a strong point of the software i make compared to others. This software runs locally at your computer, not mine. (its a local webserver, driven by a EXE) I do no see what you are doing, and i sure do not want to know. Thats your thing, thats private. All things you set will just remain at your computer, trade-bots, credentials nothing is send to me.

Yes the software connects to my server here, this is done for 3 reasons. First to validate your license, second to read the fetched prices and third to check for updates. All connections to my server are encrypted with SSL and the license information i store here is made anonymous.

You are of course free to analyse the webtraffic to my server, its encrypted but based on then length you can see i am not sending or receiving much. It really all very basic and all for the best.

Of course you could block the connecting to my webserver, but the license will fail and the software will not start.

Hello All,

can someone explain me the ROC relation?
I try to understand the indikator:
buy level > 0.005  sell level < -0.005 gives me the sell trigger (red) at - and the buy trigger (green) at +. After a while running on base settings with MACD,RSI and Stochastic it didn't do nothing. So i watched the signals and when all was on  on red (sell) ROC indikator was on green (buy) and vice versa. Should i change buy to - and sell to +?

So far the bot gave small profits and no significant losses.. Thats good.

- Setup a trade-bot with a lot of ROC indicators assigned to it.
- Edit each ROC and change the reference point. Give them all unique values.
> Leave it running or start the benchmark tool, as long as you collect some data then thats good.
- Now scroll though the charts produced by the ROC indicators, watch the differences at the charts. I am sure you will see a pattern you like.
- Once you have a pattern you may want adjust the min and max of the indicator to tune it a bit.
- Now setup 1 trade bot only with 1 ROC assigned to it, nothing more.
- Activate, wait and  

If you tune the min and max properly then there is no more need for the fee-overcome safety. But by default i recommend to leave it the safety on, just to be sure.

Sorry but this is not what you had said before. You mentioned it would be an irrelevant amount just to go legal, you even mentioned something like 1€ if I remember correctly (I don't feel like going back in the posts to check). Now however it's around 40$. That's not quite the same that you had previously mentioned.

I also have a company and you can make the invoices for 1 cent, if you want to. So I find no real justification for that price, at least go openly and say 'I want to make profit in this update' and then I will still be pissed but at least it will be closer to the truth. Sorry if I sound harsh, I just feel like you have told us one thing and done another.

You promised an update to the new version when we purchased the old one. I only bought it a few weeks ago, hardly used it because it was lacking a lot of features and I figured I would just learn the new system  when you released the update. $40 for something that should have been a free update isn't what you promised. Take care of your old customers, the people who made it possible for you to continue making new software. Make it .01, make it .005. Just don't lie about it.

BTW mandatory donations are just purchases. Calling it a donation changes nothing, when you didn't have the option to not make the payment.

I'm confused as well 
Looks like we suddenly have to buy the huge update, this is not what you promised before.
I did go back in the posts and pasted some snippets of you.

i have a huge suprice in store for all the Simple Bot users. There will be a update, an update you have never seen before. Some of you know what i did before when we went from v0.8 to v0.9. Well this is what you can expect. I will not disclose more hits about this. But it will be big.

Secondly, i will give all the existing users of the Simple Trade Bot a huge update. I will be introducing lots new features and things to improve the trading in overall. Due this huge update i need to go up a little bit in price for the Simple Trade Bot. So new people who come in and after January 2014 will need to pay more for the same software. (Sorry, but it will be worth it. Take my word in that)

Please do not worry about a update because i will give every Simple Trade Bot user a update in January. For the advanced bot i will offer a discounted price fore the people how already own the simple bot.

It seems i was i little unclear about the offer. Let me first ensure you there is nothing to worry about, i will not ask you to buy the software again. From the beginning i promissed everybody will get updates and they are free of charge. This stays the same, its my power and i will stick behind it. However i was only talking about an offer in ways of a symbolic payment. So this is in the ranges of 1 euro or 1 dollar. The only reason why i must ask this is because of registration, no more no less. Its a side effect from my part of going legal with this software*.

You are totally right CryptoMaster, that is what i said before. I also said i was unsure. But i am happy to compensate you and a few other who i told before. Send me the proof and i will keep my end of the deal.

And to will be fair to you too: this is the first time i start a company. Its all new to me and it does not work the way i thought it would. Initially i wanted this update to be totally free. Why? Well, all the changes are based on the suggestions from the users. Giving back seems fair to me. But i was unable to make that work. This is the best what i could to.

I assume in this option we will not get any of the new features, so is it hardly an option?

Why exactly? The software is running good and as long as the API is maintained there are no issues, or am i wrong here?

The 4th option is the same as the first option.

If you choose option 1, stay at the STBot then i will send you a update somewhere in the coming weeks. The update contains the new software. BUT it will be totally cut back to the functionality of the current Simple Trade Bot and the promises i have made. This way i keep my word on the update & changes.

I guess i am in luck i did not told to much before...

Thank you Stephan224 for your explaination and how to get it working on the ROC Indicator.  Just did some reading on ROC.  The Interval Length of the ROC Indicator is the close of #intervals ago.

Ok been working on this ROC for a long time.  I think these numbers are backwards.

Edit Rate of Change Window:
Buy at Value +0.005
Sell at Value -0.005

Those values always gets bot to buy high and sell low.  If i switch them it just causes strange stuff.

Please shed some light on this cause I'm really tired of trying to
