Was just wondering more about these indicators in STB

Why is the PPO included in the list?   The PPO is exactly the same as a standard MACD.

Both indicators are based on 2 moving averages - minus their differences.  The Macd is displayed as an interger, while the PPO is displayed as a percentage.
The PPO is used to compare 2 different securities to find out which one is moving stronger then the other.

 


And while I'm on this subject why isn't a SMA/EMA indicator included?

Ok been working on this ROC for a long time.  I think these numbers are backwards.

Edit Rate of Change Window:
Buy at Value +0.005
Sell at Value -0.005

Those values always gets bot to buy high and sell low.  If i switch them it just causes strange stuff.

Please shed some light on this cause I'm really tired of trying to

Can someone explain hot to have the bot react on 3/15/30 and specially on 2hr. candles?

The ROC is flipped so i guess we have to change + and minus. i asked for that earlier but go no satisfying anser...

After further testing with the bot:

i was able to change the + and - on the ROC. Sometimes it switches on the indicator chart but now not no more. In the window where to adjust the ROC rate it show buy = -0.005 and sell=0.005 ( i guess this is what we need). In the chart it says green (buy on 0.005) and sell (red) on -0.005. This really sucks...

How are the MACD indicators set that i can adjust 1/3/5/15/1hr and 2hr charts and still update every 20seconds?

Further there is no option when a trade order is placed and not filled. There has to be a cancellation automatically when the price goes up or down close the the buy/sale price initially executed to avoid high losses on pumps.


In backtrading (benchmark) when i load a file it changes the indicators on the trading page and changes the previous adjustment.
As well a benchmark that i have to run for days to get graphs to check settings is funny as well.

I think paid a lot of money in relation to to what i have received. And clearly no  it is not that i want a trading software and expect it to make profit of the box, but i can expect that the software works and for no additional money the bugs are in there have to be fixed. No its not lack of knowledge or knowing how to set up a trading bot.

Now all people that say the software works post your benchmark results and prove. and not only 2 trades, longterm pls.!

we are all willed to pay for what we get but keep it right, fix the version you have provided and we all bought and provide the fixes to us for free.
Upgrade your option 1 + 2 and take your charge which i am willed to pay once the version i have works fine. But stay right and i am sure the bot will take off with the support of the community.

But for now i am very dissapointed as a customer.

Are you asking how to view different time charts?  I don't think that's a capability within the bot itself...  The interval you set is the interval that will show in the charts and it will also be the base interval used by your indicators.

If you just want to be able to monitor different chart times, you're best off using a website like bitcoinwisdom, or something similar.  Just set your updates on the bot to whatever is most profitable for your indicator set up.  Word of advice though, 20s refresh is almost never profitable.  I've found that going with 300s or higher is where you see more consistent trading and less chance of having sold right before a pump.

but when i set the update timer on 5m it updates every 5 minutes right? so how does it comply with ROC or RSI indicators? i thought for that it would be good to have shorter interval updates to get a better momentum.

Bitcoinwisdom shows the time charts i ask for but also updates every 5 sec. the candles.
Personally i look for EMA 2hr. short=4 long=7 setup for the bot and cant do that.

For the pump my bot was selling high (hurra) based on the ROC. The price dropped and catched up, triggered a buy,executed a buy, fell all the way back and came into drop loss protection, sent sell signal. sell signal came to late price dropped further.Sell order was placed. Couldn't buy back in because of drop loss protection and un-executed sell order. At the end the bot was stuck on a high sell and the later price was way below.
That why i ask for checking for open order and in case cancel and resell before you come under your buy price. otherwise you will be stuck and experience bad losses.

When we all get a better idea how the indicators are relatad and working according to updates then we can improve.
Tips like buy low high low we have in trollbox and dont really need. 

i still think and fell we can get an working bot as far as we paid or and bought.

Here is the only settings I've been able to get working.  I've tried to save the log but that does not work.  Copy to clip board or save to txt file.  

On a 600sec (10min) interval I use one indicator with standard advance settings.

MACD-MA set at 9-11 with a 40 interval

Start the logging near a low in price helps

Looking at the setting it just snipes every 'up and down' piling many small gains while holding onto a few runs making a few good gains.  
It does trigger fast, but stays course on steady moves thus keeping the bot rolling more often then other cases.  In otherwords it has performed best for me.  

I cleared everything last night and will run it again see how it does for a few more days

This only works because of the min drop/raise

Adding any other indicator to this the bot gets stuck  

Part of the problem is all of his indicators are short term.  They all measure momentum in different ways.

BUT it will be totally cut back to the functionality of the current Simple Trade Bot and the promises i have made. This way i keep my word on the update & changes.

I guess i am in luck i did not told to much before...

Since you've stated that Simple Trade Bot is programed for 1280 by 1024 screen resolution could you possibly sell some of the bitcoins you've gotten from this program and buy yourself a bigger monitor or laptop so you can cater to customers better?  I am really starting to hate this.  What are you doing with a 19 inch CTR screen these days anyways?  Those went out of style 15 years ago

that your current customers are not going to be "Happy Customers"

No of course not, but i will guard a balance yes. That does not mean there are no improvements of course. I am talking about a functional level here, technical all improvement remain in place of course. What else did you thought? Keeping the promise is keeping the promise, didn`t i wrote that?

Really? I sure remember paying you for the software, using it, even telling other people how to use it in this very thread. But thanks for your shit attitude. If you want to take away the promises you made when I ordered, you need to offer refunds as one of the choices. You're not going to do well treating your customers like this at all.

Stephan i wait for my coupon. I did send 2 notes, one as a ticket via the old website and one via email.
However, i hope you keep your promise to pay 0.05BTC for upgrade as per option 2. I am not willed to pay another 0.15BTC up top of it until i know the cureent or now new version is working well enough to get convinced. Currenlty i am feared to upgrade because the new version may have bugs and you will remove them after everyone gave his input in order to charge another 0.05BTC for the fixes

And yes i am a customer and didn't get my coupon yet...
