Here is the most recent tweet from Darkcoin Ring signatures are going to be implemented in V2. I will begin development immediately after I opensource V1 Ring signatures, as far as I understand them (see https://cryptonote.org/inside.php), offer an interesting way to achieve anonymity that is easier and more practical than Zerocoin: all transactions are anonymous, without the need for a separate step to mint zero coins. Have the developers considered implementing this in anoncoin? |

speaking pr and streamlining the wallet i have some thoughts/suggestions:
i guess the long term goal is to get as many transactions as possible thru anoncoin, not just VIP tech people wants anonymous transactions... if this is true: simple info, easy set up and use is the way to go.
when communicating general info about anoncoin, TOR, I2P and Zerocoin should be mentioned together, as it is now in some places I2P gets all the attention while TOR (all caps!) is not mentioned at all. maybe "darknets" should be used instead, as it is explaining itself better then I2P/TOR.
there should be a graphic interface for every setting in the wallet (no need for text editor), every setting should be possible to change after being set. for example the choice between I2P/TOR.
TOR should be represented with a tab in the wallet Preferences.
as much as possible should be as intuitive as possible, but a pdf user guide could be included in the wallet download.
is the optional transaction fee only speeding up outgoing transactions or incoming aswell?
in the status bar:
even if i have clearnet connection (aswell tor-only, but not running tor) it dispalys TOR only connection.
even if i have clearnet/tor-only it displays DYN (random i2p adress)
on the startup warning "You are running on clearnet" there should be an option to stop and shut down, not only OK - go ahead.
the Multibit bitcoin wallet has a great feature that displays the current market value.
the startup splash screen is not transparent where it should be.
the wallet could have a darker shade of grey theme to separate itself from the other wallets.
firefox treats anoncoin.net as suspicious and asks for security certificate, scary for John Doe.
i respect that the tech is the priority, an empty shell is not good. but the shell is crucial to reach out.

Has anyone in the last week withdrawn ANC for Cryptsy? I'm still waiting on two lost transaction to get sorted out but in the meantime would buy and withdraw some more coins if I can... I know sometimes it will take a few days to see the transaction but here there aren't any txid's. Just wanting to make sure I could still buy and get some coins out or if I would need to wait until my prior transaction fixes itself...

I did a withdrawal of 45 anc a few minutes ago. Came through now. Doesn't seem to be anything wrong with withdrawals today. |

I have had some trouble with delayed withdrawals. Try clicking again on the verification link in the confirmation email sent by Cryptsy. That worked for me. |

Look at the market value of Anoncoin and Darkcoin. Darkcoin is 30 times more. Now. From $5 000 they could make $150 000 if they stayed committed to the idea of Zerocoin. But seems to me they have much better jobs than to work on this project anymore. |

IMHO here we have a problem, we need to know that things are going on
The last post on twitter was written 28 of april, and now we know that the zerocoin will not be implemented, the the zercoin's devs stop to develop it in favour of zerocash (that will be presented the 18).
We need a sign from meeh or one of the devs; the community sometimes is at least as important that the features implemented on a coin.
This is my thought

The bold I highlight is not true.Zercoin's devs did not present source code of a program which can be cloned by anybody,they printed a paper merely.Gnosis are coding for implementation of Zerocoin according to the paper. Meeh writed to Zercoin's devs,but they did not reply. |

He is probably doing a client for people to test zerocoin's UFO's random generator.
Gnosis have been implementing zerocoin in a diffrent way than zerocoin/zerocash team had been.
Gnosis is implementing zerocoin for few months, zerocoin team haven't been helping him problably over this time.
