Is the windows wallet out yet?

Windows, Mac(thanks to Unick), and source code can be found here:
https://github.com/Tranz5/bottlecaps/releases

many thanks, mac wallet syncing up nicely.
i like to keep things local and all my windows machines are scattered across Scotland. This makes things much easier for me.

Alright, dumb question. I noticed there is a 1000 coin PoS reward cap. This means that we should limit deposits into the wallet to 12,180 CAP (365.25/15 = 24.35 staking periods; 200%/24.35 = 8.21% per period; 1000/0.0821 = 12,180 coins)? We can deposit this amount multiple times into the same address, right? The main thing is that it shows up as a 10k or less position in coin control?

Thanks Smiley

this makes sense, and thanks for doing the maths on it  Wink

Hey guys I think there maybe a problem. Not sure what yet, but I just rolled back many blocks. Not sure what is going on quite yet. I did notice the checkpoints are not running. :-(. I am going to message flound and see if we can get thos back up and runnning.

Please be careful of deposits for the time being..

Yeh, seeing a lot of rollbacks...but my balance is still less than it should be. Not sure if that's because of PoS rollbacks or transfers though.

Was still impressed with the quality of the PoS processing today, appeared to go really well, good job all the same!

Edit: Negative balance on Cryptsy now...not nice...and they took my BTC too....

Everything was fine, noticed the greater POS rate after 3am est., but now resynced several hundred blocks and all my POS blocks minted in the last 6 hours are invalid.  It looks like POS has started up again though.

I think I found the issue.

We were flying great. And then the CP server issued a checkpoint on an invalid or otherwise not accepted block,  over 500 blocks after it happened.  This caused a huge roll back.

Not sure why this happened, but it couldn't have been worse timing. I don't run the CP server (perhaps this should change). We were actually doing pretty well without it.

Anyway a few things.
#1 until I make sure we are back to smooth running either with or without the CP server, please watch your sends and receives.
#2 You may want to check your debug log file. It could be riddled with Error messages regarding mem pool. A quick restart of the wallet should fix this.

The network and functions are working fine, this was an issue with the the checkpoint server.

We'll get this sorted quickly I have messages out to flound.

Woke up to a long-running, 2.1 wallet that was stuck ~200 blocks from syncing. Restarted it and it seems fine now.

That damn checkpoint server.

Yea... Its both a powerful tool and a terrible crutch.

On a side note, the network did respond pretty well to this. But as soon as I hear from flound I will be sure this won't happen again.

Until then, please be mindful of transactions. Especially ones involving newly minted blocks. (less then 500 confirmations)

Wow network stake weight is huge right now!

Over 1 million coins have recently been up for stake. Pretty cool. About 1/4 of the total supply.

As far as I know it is nearly impossible to reset everyones coinage, because it would either require advanced coding, or to force everyone to send their coins in new transaction.

The CP server being down and signing wrong blocks did mess up Crypsty most of all... Trades that occurred before the roll back screwed their accounting.

I'm sure everything will be fine on their end once they audit the transactions.

As far as for flound, he should be made aware of the consequences of the signing blocks when not in sync! Good job on everything Tranz, and for quickly messaging flound about this!
