Then again ban everyone who asks questions, and accuse them of being Serena or Mojo

Captain today asked me to find and propose a solution for emission and messed up economics, and now mods ban me

Wow

 Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh

Yep. We suppress all dissent now. You must be a mindless automaton to avoid being banned.

Ok can you or captain say if he's putting a new buy wall or not? I need to know for reasons... Smiley

Finally, someone else who thinks that DERO is undervalued given its promise and features, despite the efforts of the disproportionately scathing FUD brigade.

So if someone doesn't blindly praises, gets kicked?

I think anyone who reviews your case and reads your messages will see that you were being toxic, and no matter what was told to you in response to whatever questions you had, you refused to accept any answers and kept being toxic.

Yes, pretty much this. The irony here is that I rather forcefully argued for not banning JohnSmith two days ago, but then he/she/it proved that Kryptoid's initial ban was totally justified.

You ban people for not being positively praising your geniusness, even though captain agreed that there are issues and suggested I work on them..

Then again you say c**p about Serena/Mojo because they banned a bunch of people.. what a bunch of hypocrites

Anyway buy wall gone.. see you all at 1 sats Cheesy

...captain agreed that there are issues and suggested I work on them..

The way I read that convo, it was more like Captain was challenging you to prove your assertion by presenting a solution, rather than agreeing that there was a problem in the first place. This is a common tactic of his and one that usually shuts the complainer up. You being a notable exception, of course.

Then again you say c**p about Serena/Mojo because they banned a bunch of people.. what a bunch of hypocrites

I talk shit about a lot of people because internet. That said, I've only banned one person - versus the >50 by S&M - so it's a bit early to be calling me a hypocrite. Pretty much everyone except Sajo8 was happy to see you go, and Saj08 seemed more concern this was a return to the evil S&M days. But I haven't broken out the ball gag and whip just yet.

kek, I wonder who is embarrassing himself right now.

They have been tiny exploit hidden in Linux Kernel code in plain view to tons of reviewers and they didn't see it, why ? Because one character was misplaced and worked after compilation, thanks to C.

That character misplaced was identified further like an Elevation Privilege Exploit.

It's like in C if you forget parenthesis in some Macro you gonna fuck the calculus logic :
Code:
#define SQUARE_A(x) x*x
#define SQUARE_B(x) (x)*(x)

Replace x by 2+3, SQUARE_A will fail, not SQUARE_B.

Now try to take a simple project in Go and compile it on different architecture and computer with and without cross compiler, and check the result. Even if you have 1:1 code you will never get the 1:1 binary code.

There was never better place than 127.0.0.1 Grin

20 year exploit in bash had nothing to do with it's size dunkof. It was not in the kernel and even if it had been that wouldn't matter anyway as an exploit is just that and it does not matter what the fuck the size of it is!

After a moments thought I think I know what you are trying to say.
You are trying to say a tiny error in coding as in a small syntax error.
Is English your second language?

No, what I wanna to try to say : they are ways to hide exploits in Open Source code in plain view, not necessarily complex like a backdoor, just something to introduce a bug that could be exploited by a Malicious Actor further.

Well then why didn't you just say that?

That is obvious to anyone that has any experience whatsoever programming.

Dero Atlantis is intended to work with SSD.

You can still launch it with the --badgerdb flag on a HDD, but you have to sync it from the first block.
Hi,

If possible, use ssd and fast connection

Hello,
i have downloaded Dero atlantis. and input file Database (~6GB) to folder mainnet. but when i run derod-linux-amd64, it is syncing very slow

after ~2 hour, it synced ~100k block.  Huh

thank you, but i have HDD only. maybe it take 7 days to sync complete. :-s

Captain, I found your other side project/scam

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4693135

Giving up on DERO already?

Why not also make this one in Golang? Claim security and stuff and con some people to work for you too?

I mean if you want to scam more people at least you could have told me so I can get some profits too, instead of telling your newb board members to ban me
