A fair point; the premine amount is relatively high to many coins in percentage terms, but since there wasn't an ICO the premine is what will be used to pay for marketing, exchange listing fees, website development, other assorted bounties and, yes, to hopefully make the dev team filthy rich. Since I am a Libertarian at heart I don't mind the high premine percentage (~10% of total supply) and much prefer it to an ICO (or worse - masternode sales) where a huge amount of money is available immediately, leaving precious little incentive for the dev team to keep working. That's my opinion, anyway. |

Wow, this John Smith person is extremely relentless in their failed FUD attempts. It seems they will never quit, truly a toxic person and an obvious troll with nothing better to do, and with a clear agenda.

You guys should really stop talking about the premine being unlocked vs daily volume. Its a stupid argument. Before they cratered the price of Dero being stupid.. daily volume was over 100k a day. You're literally saying 'I don't care about the unlocked premine because today its doesn't matter and the future is irrelevant. What is today.. will remain forever!' If the price picks up and the volume returns that premine being unlocked could be a very big deal.. one that is completely avoidable by doing what you said you did in the first place. |

A fair point, but I would counter with: if word got out that the premine was being sold on the open market outside of the (sort of) planned releases the price of DERO will basically go to zero. There's just no way to unload a meaningful amount of the premine without causing the proverbial Panic At The Disco. |

Just an FYI, if I felt like pointing out the degree of idiocy I've seen consistently maintained in the last 2 months by several members of the dero community, I would do so openly.
Don't like the cypherpunk reference in my twitter? Sorry muffin, I'll change that for you posthaste.
Agree with it, or disagree, I couldn't care less. Though I do have to enquire about why I'm the only one in dero's community capable of actually reading and understanding the code (wtf community team?!).
I guess I'm still sort of an enigma to many of you :shrug:

People were concerned about Mt Gox Trustee unloading 400 million an blame that for bitcoins price drop but you're right someone dumping 8 billion dollars worth on the market would be totally fine lol. What I did hear though is no reasonable explanation for it not being locked. |
