I can not imagine why, they not leave us an update here. If they post and explain what happend every one will understand this.

I´m so unesasy about my money, but I still hope and pray that they give us an kick with any news on this date.

They have staff in the USA and in Australia, there is absolutely no reason why they could not work around the clock

I forgot about the Australian team, but this is some test that is being run in the states, because the chips are there... So this one for me is like the first good news since October.

It means they have applied power to the chip and are they are pleased with its electrical properties, but haven't tested any work yet.

There are two types of power usage:
dynamic - (i.e. productive working power logic gates charging and discharging to do work)
and
static (or leakage) - power that passes through a gate even if it is below the switching threshold for the gate.

As process nodes get smaller and smaller, the gate size (or the barrier that basically keeps the electrons on one side vs other indicating on or off) gets smaller and the chance of electrons improperly tunneling across that barrier goes up.  The stronger the electric field the larger the leakage.

I am not an EE... more of a well rounded nerd, but basically they are saying that at idle, the chip is exceeding expectations.  This is a good small step.  The next test is to see how it performs with real work load.  Hopefully they will have some numbers today.

Yes, this is very good news.  The next thing for them to do is start hashing with the chips.

And yes, if leakage is lower than expected that means higher GH/s/w or higher overall OC capabilities.

So long as the chips work and don't need to be respun, I'm guessing at this point we're a week or two away from volume production.

These guys are obviously unprepared. Knc chips came. And witjin hours they had a working unit.

Perhaps still no PCB to test it with. 1 week and half more. Let's see if they will delay again.
