Just for those who dont check their site, they now updated it and redid it. It would benice if they would show us the progress of their mass shipping in the order chain.

According to their site they only get 427ghash not the 500 or were bragging about before

I've put up the first release of cgminer that I've personally tested on real hardware with substantial improvements:

Con, don't you think HF is another blatant scam walking in BFL footsteps?
If you do, you and luke should probably just quit spending time developing drivers for their units.
Just put them to death by not allowing them to join any pool.

You and Luke have a huge power/responsibility over this, please consider not accepting every scammer's offer.

[OVER] RIDDLES 2nd edition --- this was claimed. Look out for 3rd edition!
I won't ever ask for a loan nor offer any escrow service. If I do, please consider my account as hacked.

I can't agree with this.

As much as I thought Eve was over the top, I have to agree that the best point of control is "don't pre-pay."

Once the hardware exists and customers have paid, we are deeply grateful to ckolivas and Luke.

Of course, what will happen in that scenario is that the deep pockets will own privately designed ASICs and none of us will mine.

Perhaps a feasible step, as the people putting up the money, is to require stock ownership with pre-orders.

I try to be respectful and informed.

Bitcoin: An Idea Worth Spending

Seems like it would be more efficient to just buy Bitcoin than rent an asic farm.

Always was (since Avalon batch #1), always will be.

^THIS

we will never be able to compete with this trend:

http://www.coindesk.com/coinseed-5m-investment-bitfury-mining/

Seriously! Miners won't be able to compete with a snake oil investment salesman?

Quote
“Mining is a cool thing, it’s a fun thing, but it’s not forever, difficulty is on the rise. Mining will always happen, it’s just not going to be as profitable.”

It's doesn't matter if one person purchases $5M worth of outdated miners or 100 people purchase same, there's no ROI. Miners know it. Miner makers know it. The snake oil investment salesmen know it. The only people who don't know it are those having more money than brains that jacked off all over themselves when they read an article or two about Bitcoin. Moreover, it's the people who don't know about Bitcoin that have collectively invested their hard-earned money into entities that are seeking investment opportunities like Bitcoin, and the snake oil investment salesmen are more than happy to oblige.

Pete Bartutti would be gobstrucked if he overheard "The New Liars Club" panelist pitch the mining-for-profit version of his "Cordeen School" routine for, at the end of the day, the investor-chain lose.

So still no word on mpp?

You know what I'm finding absolutely hilarious, that every ASIC company and large mining concern is using the same wire racks from Costco ...

http://www.costco.com/TRINITY-NSF-5-tier-XL-Heavy-duty-Wire-Shelving-Rack.product.11539192.html

It's like a badge of legitimacy or something, seriously, go check out pics of BFLs burnin rack, LRMs racks, numerous private larger mines.... Cheesy

My BJ arrived today. Just picked it up from FedEx (never got the tracking number and missed delivery earlier today).

@ninjarobot or anyone else who has gotten one of these can you post some pictures of the internals?  I'd be interested to see how the power supply is wired is it like KNC where there is just a paperclip jammed in the 24pin ATX connector?  or is it something more polished?

I fail to see the issues with this. They are incredibly practical, and the configuration allows for excellent cable management by tying down wires along the rails.

All my rigs are situated on similar racks available at the local Home Depot.

So what happens if it gets in a goofy state do you have to run down to your server closet and reboot them by hand?

There is not much to guess:
- Restart Miner - should restart just the miner program,
- Reboot - should reboot the OS (Linux),
- Shutdown - should turn it all off.
