Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin

I think this will happen anytime in the future, the actual Bitcoin like talking will always be more believing compared to other coins and ETH in particular. This trust will always continue to build more investors and crypto fans who like bitcoin that leads to major investments into bitcoins. So you see here, the value for bitcoin will always be higher than the ETH.

Are you sure? for now ethereum does have a better price than other coins, but it is so much different than the bitcoin price, so I think it would be a little difficult if the ethereum overtook bitcoin, and it would take a long time until ethereum could exceed the bitcoin price. But I hope the price ethereum and bitcoin will continue to rise, the more coins that have a good price, the better it will be in the future...

If you follow the market momentum, all the coins will increase. The value of BTC will remain high. Actually if you watch blockchain then you will see Satoshi Nakamoto alone exploit 2 million BTC, some information that Bitcoincore owns 3 million BTC. And many BTCs are frozen because users forgot the password or accidentally ruined it. The amount of BTC is around 10 million BTC. I'm not sure but new coins are growing very strong.

It won't happen in the near future. Definitely not this year, but in several years I believe more in ETH because most ICOs are planned as ETH token and future is in qualite tokens.

I think it's too early for speculation. I still believe, bitcoin will still have a future in the next few years. but not to close the possibility of ethereum can compete with bitcoin. let's wait what will happen next.

I think you underestimate bitcoin because of its recent drop. Well etherium its true it havent made that big of a drop but still .. bitcoin is the mather of everything .Everyone knows bitcoin and everyone knows that the final target of its invest is bitcoin.

Ethereum has lower fees, transactions are faster AND can support ICO's.

Bitcoin has high fees and Bitcoin is slow (transaction time minimum 10 minutes if you pay high enough fee). It isn't decentralized any more too - the transactions are made by few companies which can afford ASICs. Only advantage of Bitcoin is that it is more popular in the media and more people have heard about it, so more people buy it. Lot of these people eaven don't know about Ethereum or its advantages.

If more people would know about Ethereum it would be definitely winner.

Ethereum is growing very confident recently. People begin to gradually become discouraged in bitcoin and start using ethereum. The new ICOs also add strength to the ethereum. 

I'm sure that Ethereum has the capability to overtake Bitcoin but now today or tomorrow, it will take years before it happens and accomplish. Who knows about the mind of people; they may support Ethereum after the decreasing value of Bitcoin.

I am not sure that but not impossible. personally I don't use btc I am comfortable with eth.becouse btc transfer is so high than eth.so my opinion is eth may overtake btc but its not be easy.

Keen observation. Bitcoin is moving so slow in this fast pacing field. If one coin does not evolve, it will be obsolete and will go down in terms of value. The store-of-value shilling for BTC will soon be over since I didn't see why other altcoins cannot be a store of value if BTC can be. With constant forking, BTC is not a store of value anymore. BTC is undergoing inflation due to these forks that cannot compete with top altcoins.

you painted quite colorful prospects for the etherium. I also believe that the etherium has great prospects, but everything will happen a little slower than you say. To date, the etherium can make a big bar ahead, but it can not even reach 10,000 dollars.

I think it is possible but Eth can not stay long time at the throne of bitcoin, I think ETH ll pass btc after that Btc ll go very far again from etherum. Time will show us this but two best coins: Bitcoin & Ethereum.
