Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin

I think people have opinions of what but the whole world of crypto is based on bitcoin.  For ETH to takeover bitcoin people need to drop bitcoin all together.  It's not going to happen because there will be disagreements because how many people have invested on to the blockchain and coin.

I think we will see this in the future, but not for a long time. Remember Bitcoin has been around a lot longer and is still the flagship for all other altcoins. Whatever Bitcoin does, all other altcoins follow.

If we see from the price on this time ,i'm don't see ethereum will overtake bitcoin in the near way,nobody knows when? but from the another side maybe ethereum could overtake bitcoin in the near time.we'll know how ethereum give something new for us.for sure

I see the same too, Every new project is coming towards Ethereum tokens and pays in it and no one is now pays in Bitcoin. So basically ethereum is slowly overtaking over Bitcoin.

i hope so and hopefully during this process we can shed some wales created by BTC but this need to happen more often i.e. newer coins taking over, hopfully, if it happens over had over again with different coins we will have much less wales in the system, and once  decenterlized exchanges take over it will be complete

I believe in the potential of etherium and that it can really outrank bitcoin however that doesn't justify your decision to pull it out. So what if btc ranks second? As long as its value is still high, people will invest on if. You may be speaking of this as an advice but Im guessing you have a lot of eth at the moment that is why the more people you encourage, the demand will increase thus the price. Classic. I'm not against eth, I'm actually with you. I trust eth more than btc but it is still unacceptable for me to assume that btcs bubble will burst.

Yes,ethereum can overtake the bitcoin but it's not today, maybe in the next year or next time. Because it is impossible for noe that the ehereum overtake the bitcoin, we see the big difference in price it a very far difference. Ethereum has only low price but in other side it is stable unlike the bitcoin there are very fast changing of price. I believe that soon it will the next cryptos

I want, that any alts never move BTC from first place, but I think it will happend soon. Take look at 3dfx. There was first company who make 3d graphic cards. Where is it now? But now all know Nvidia. Possible the same will be with ETH and BTC

yeah, ethereum is not even going to start any event or airdrop. this coin surely could grow much bigger this time in 2018. well, i will buy some in the next few days. surely it will grow much more percentage than bitcoin. hope this year will be the year of alternante cryptocurrencies! cheers!

All of the answers you will receive will be speculation and personal opinion. There is no way knowing for sure. My opinion is that Ether will never be valued as high as Bitcoin. Bitcoin was developed as a store of value.

I believe that ETH has potential to overcome Bitcoins. But the bitcoin is always going to have more trust as compare to other coins.Take more time for etheruem to overcome bitcoins. It is better to have both these coins.  If there is an opportunity and money, this is the time to buy with a reasonable plan!

I think not because as you can observed ethereum price is also falling down the same thing happening on it like bitcoin so it's very unlikely for this take over because usually when bitcoin price increase or decrease the same thing is also happening in etherium.

I am a big fan of Ethereum and Neo. I think it is quite obvious that BTC is not state of the art any more. Still a lot of coins only trade against BTC. Then there is a lot of vested interests in BTC if you check who is mining it. What I dislike about BTC is, that well it has mighty enemies. Not only in politics and finance but also in the blockchain space. There was talk about an operation "Dragonslayer" a while ago and BTC always described as the elefant in the room. I do not see how BTC is holding blockchain back.

I think at the end of 2018 their prices will meet. Quite interesting what Eth Classic will do. Will it move simular as BTC CASH?
But then again, who knows how big Cardano will get?? It also depends how scalable the Ethereum blockchain will be. If you look at the Eth kitties, well that didn't go well!

is this some kind of joke?  Bitcoin is the father of all crypto currency and bitcoin came first in the market as a crypto so no way for eth to overcome bitcoin or kickout bitcoin for number one position.
