Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin

In the next year ETH will overtake BTC as the number 1 cryptocurrency.  I would unload your bitcoin while you still can.

To replace bitcoin in next year i think its impossible because many changer and many shop just receive bitcoin as the payment. As we know a lot of ico receive etherum as the ico calculation. If the etherum have a trade charge below bitcoin its not impossible anymore that bitcoin will replace by etherum because from the mining  point eth more easy to mining then bitcoin.

I also see it is impossible that next year the ethereum will overtake the bitcoin, there are still many things to be noticed when the ethereum will overtake the bitcoin. many stages ethereum stage to be able to make as the number one coin. considering the current bitcoin still has the strongest position in cryptocurrency will be very hard to beat.

Ethereum to beat bitcoin? Thats not gonna happens, Bitcoin will always be on top and ethereum is the second best coin. Just looking at the figures its too far from happening. Bitcoin price is too high to be overtaken. To the hopefuls who  are hodling ethereum its okay to be hopeful. But it is really far from reality.

In my opinion this is not going to happen. Bitcoin will always be the father of digital currency. When we say digital coin, one would think it Bitcoin because they are synonymous. Eth will go up but not to the extent that it will overtake btc.

I do not believe that. Because Bitcoin is the mother of all Cryptocurrency. All alt coins, including Ethereum depend only on Bitcoin. Did you notice that when Btc falls, all alt coins are also affected? That's a proof that nothing really matches Bitcoin.

It's not possible . Bitcoin base of crypto currency. Cryptomarket is calculated by bitcoin.Yesterday bitcoin Price dropped . Then continuously ethereum price dropped. This not possible in this year . Perhaps few years can be predicted.

I don't really think that Etherium will be able to overtake Bitcoin.... I've been hearing that almost everyday and still bitcoin remains in the top unchallenged, Bitcoin is the King of Cryptocurrency and bitcoin is the founding pillars of crypto currency it had already existed before the crypto currency craze and it is still remains. Etherium however had been replaced by ripple in the second place but it was able to take back its position in the second place... so with that being said, Etherium will just remain in the second place or evern lower but it could never replaced the first place where the Bitcoin stands unchallenged.

I see the same too, Every new project is coming towards Ethereum tokens and pays in it and no one is now pays in Bitcoin. So basically ethereum is slowly overtaking over Bitcoin.

Me too, I made your same reasoning. In the next months (or weeks),
anyway, with the Lightning network, maybe BitCoin transactions will go
faster than now, and the fees will be almost zero.

No crypto can take over Bitcoin. Btc is the king of crypto world no coin can take it's place not even ethereum.

Bitcoin will stay the same N1 in crypto.Etherium has a few strong competitors such as Neo,Eos and in the near future-Tezos,so I expect a great battle among all of them in 2018-19.The winner will take the most part of ICO market.

Maybe. But no one knows if the Ethereum will beat up the bitcoin, but as of now, the Ethereum beats the bitcoin markets and volumes. But I think it was temporary. I think bitcoin is preparing to getting bursts in this month. And I really trusts bitcoin.

This will take some more time. If bitcoin cannot integrate lightening to mainnet than yes ethereum will overtake bitcoin for sure.
We need lightening as soon as possible for bitcoin. Also need some more improvements for ethereum network too.
