Today my miner 5.5c lost both my Eth pools eu1 and us1 then started to mine etc but I hadn't set that pool up? so any ideas why?

There is a point at which the Phoenix miner does take a development fee. Is this what you are talking about?

From the 1st post in this thread:

"PhoenixMiner is fast (arguably the fastest) Ethash (ETH, ETC, Muiscoin, EXP, UBQ, etc.) miner that supports
both AMD and Nvidia cards (including in mixed mining rigs). It runs under Windows x64 and Linux x64
and has a developer fee of 0.65% (the lowest in the industry). This means that every 90
minutes the miner will mine for us, its developers, for 35 seconds."

No it wasn't that, it kept trying different pools because it couldn't connect for some reason. It tried about 5 times before settling on ETC, I'll give it another go later.
I am correct in only having to put my purse/wallet address in #5 pool I'm using and not all the others?

Thanks for your replies

Hi!!
Help me flash the MSI RX580 8Gb Armor (Samsung)

Flashed many times with different timings from the forums. There are 2 cards in the computer. The first Gigabyte RX580 Gaming (Samsung) - works perfectly after firmware (30-31 mhs).
The second MSI RX580 8Gb Armor (Samsung) does not want to work, there were periods that worked on 25-26 mh/s with native firmware, but after the firmware (with timings on 1750 and 2000), the entire SYSTEM was almost immediately turned off.

Now, even with the native bios firmware, for some reason, it also does not want to work. What could be the problem?
Maybe someone has the same cards and bios for them?
And also, what parameters do you set in the batnik, those who use Phoenix Miner?

Sorry for the broken English, I've already searched all the Russian-speaking forums!

Do I need a tablet for Phoenix Miner for 1080?
I can't understand, in Phoenix there is a parameter - straps.
If I install it, do I still need to run ohgodethenlargementpill separately? Huh
If necessary, please tell me what is your hashrate for 1080 and what are the overclocking parameters and what are the Phoenix parameters?

PS. Gigabyte Gaming 1080 card Grin

Yes, you can. But these are very old cards, I do not recommend buying them.
Especially now at these prices! On what to mine, you can calculate how much they give out.

I'm a newbie!Help.  Shocked
Zombie mode reduces the hashrate on all video cards?  Huh
Or what is it? And does Phoenix Miner save you from zombie mode?  Huh

Sorry for the stupid question, but I'm just learning Cry

New version 5.5c works great. I have been using your mining software since the beginning of the month. Maybe one of the first. I have had 0 issues with PheonixMiner and my 6 card rig seems to be about 1mh/s higher per card.

I tried Phoenix miner for the first time today. Everything is ok, except that -straps 2 doesn't make any difference in hashrate. I have a 1080ti card. I see in the log that -straps 2 is executed. I am running Phoenix as administrator.

No if your card has 6Gb or more you don't have to worry about that.
"zombie mode" is used to be able to mine ETH on a 4GB card. The term "Zombe Mode" comes from somewhere else, Phoenix does not call it that. But I suppose it is a process where part of the DAG file is stored in computer memory and has to be swapped back and forth over the PCIe bus when the GPU needs a certain part of the file.

I found two my old GPU's (AMD Radeon 4850 0.5GB and 6870 1GB), what kind of hashrate I would expect from these cards? And if I connect 2 GPU's to mobo, do I need the SLI bridge adapter for mining?

It simply won't work at all. You need at least 4 Gb VRAM to mine ETC and 6 Gb VRAM for ETH...

Not quite correct

for ETC you need 2.6GB VRAM currently

for ETH you need 4.1GB VRAM currently

Yes indeed.

But there not point to buy a 3Gb VRAM to mine ETC unless you already have the VGA and with a 4Gb VGA you can't mine ETH and there no 5 Gb VRAM VGA...

Theres the nVidia 1060 5GB https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/geforce-gtx-1060-5-gb.c3060#:~:text=The%20GeForce%20GTX%201060%205,GeForce%20GTX%201060%205%20GB.
I used to have this gtx1060 5GB version, I came preinstalled in a dell gaming pc some months ago and I sold the card and the desktop PC separately, this 5gb is very scarce, they aren't available for sell anywhere it's better to buy the 6gb versions they are everywhere on online stores

I'm looking for the perfect settings for rX580 8gb micron version, I don't want to risk bios modding as I'm already able to get 28mh out of the graphics card with 89watts, phoenix miner shows 29mhs some times and it goes back to 28

I'm having an issue with my two GPU's, one is an RX 590 and the other is an RX 580.  When I startup the miner I'm getting an error something to the effect of "stratum auto-tuning unresponsive for 51 sec. Fatal error, restarting". It restarts 4 times or so and then works fine. Any ideas?
