I earned 264 merits so that I have 132 smerit to send out but as you see, I only have 48 available smerit to send out. I sent out most of my smerit.
but why do you think that you have send out most of your available smerit, when you have 48 to send, it is something about 35% from all available, so it is not that you have send all, or rather most, it is closer to a half i did not look much on that earlier, but it is an interesting subject to see how users are sending their sMerit I sent out 63.6% of my smerit. Not close to all but more than half of all 132 smerits that I can send out. But what is wrong when I will send out more. I plan to send out more 28 smerit soon. It is a matter of time when I finish the plan.

It can be construed quite easily that gifting merits is part of a plan to manipulate the trust system, so err on the side of caution if planning anything.

There's no need to make people paranoid for this. Just Merit posts that you think deserve it. I sent out 63.6% of my smerit. You got me curious: I've sent 97,29%, and still have 406 sMerit left. Just Merit source things

I refreshed the page, twice and again 6664. Same on your profile page. Then all of a sudden it switched to 6668. So you were already at 6666 but for some reason the counter was stuck. Strange!

So you were already at 6666 but for some reason the counter was stuck. The Merit counter isn't updated real-time, but your Merit put me at 6666: Today at 01:53:50 AM: 2 from mikeywith for Re: Atomic wallet. Bitcoin sent to a Dogecoin address, how was that possible? Today at 01:53:23 AM: 2 from fillippone for Re: Merit & new rank requirements Too bad there is no screenshot, it would nicely fit my address 166666666LyMNrkpwwNCdUPzvDTh2tNDLu.

Update time on user's profile is nearly real time (I can call it is a real time update because if I click send merit, and visit a user's profile to check, there is 1 to few seconds to do click activity). Update time on the number above avatar is updated 1 minute each (maybe).

To my knowledge, these are added from friend to friend to merit .. What if I do not know anyone,.? ... because I looked at a lot of important issues and there is no minimum level of merit

You ought to make your point clearer. I’ve read your post thrice and cannot manage to make heads or tails from it. The "friend" thingy is a bit misleading and overly abused, and often one may read that merits often go to "friends". I have no friends here as such, although, overtime, there are profiles with which you may engage a little bit more than with others, likely because of some sort of affinity.

I have no friends here as such, although, overtime, there are profiles with which you may engage a little bit more than with others, likely because of some sort of affinity. Surely, members are going to vary in their thinking about the idea of having "friends" on the interwebs, and sure there likely develops some familiarity with the trustworthiness or even the creative, inspiring or informative nature of some posters with the passage of time. For example, I might see some posters who make mediocre posts that might come close to inspiring me to want to send an smerit, but the posts do not quite reach a level that causes me to act in sending such contemplated smerit, but at the same time, the members' names (name recognition) may end up in my head, and so I may end up sending an smerit to their posts at some later date(s) because I start to believe that such type of members are genuinely trying to contribute to the forum, to help members or to just bring up meaningful issues that help themselves, but perhaps just having some difficulties in expressing himself/herself very well. On the other hand, sometimes, I see a lot of mediocre posts from members, and I conclude that those kinds of members are NOT even trying to substantially contribute to the forum or even to raise questions that might even come close to being meaningful for other members (except for degenerate ones, perhaps).. and I might even tentatively conclude that such members are merely cluttering various threads with nonsense - so my negative impression of those kinds of members might cause me to expect a decently higher level of contribution from those kinds of members before I feel inspired to send any smerit(s). So, familiarity can work in either direction, but if members are actually attempting to make meaningful and substantial contributions to the forum or even legitimately seeking information for themselves (that might be interesting to other members), I see no reason that such members should not learn, with the passage of time to hone contribution skills and to inspire other members to recognize their contribution attempts by sending such "trying to contribute" members with smerits.

1) Self-Custody is a right. There is no such thing as "non-custodial" or "un-hosted." 2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized. 3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k

Yes, this is what I have gone through now. It seems that language is a barrier here to me but of course I can try my best to learn. This is another way of learning different language. I am happy to what I can write in english without using a google translator. This is why instead of joining into the local threads. I am more interested in it rather than writing language to which I almost use in a daily basis.

If you are not very confident in your English skills or what kind of impression that you are creating from forum members who might send you merits, then it may be a better practice for you to write your posts and then to edit them several times before you send them. And you can even wait until the next day to send some of your posts to give yourself an opportunity to read your posts again with fresh eyes. Of course, anywhere that you are attempting to establish a reputation, it is likely better to be more careful in what you post, especially if you feel that some of your use of the english language might be misunderstood if you were to just send it without reading (and perhaps re-writing) it a few times. I did a quick perusal of some of your recent posts, and they are not really bad.. and probably if you are involved in bounty threads, then that kind of involvement is likely NOT very good for your reputation here, even though you are completely free to involve yourself in those kinds of campaigns and threads, if that is what you want to get out of the forum.

Having the luck, or luxury, of not having a language barrier greatly help your chance of positive contribution to the forum, as you greatly increase your possibility to get exposed to good material available in the international section. Nevertheless you should not to siphon some of this material in the local board of your choice, in order to help those are not in your privileged condition, for any reasons this might be.

This is not logical that anyone can write in English but cannot understand or read anything in English. If you don't know English, you need not to enforce yourself to write it. You can express yourself in your native language in your local board and will still gain merits by the local fellows who understand your language.

You can express yourself in your native language in your local board and will still gain merits by the local fellows who understand your language. Writing abilities and reading comprehension abilities are not the same skills. There are a lot of people who do not practice good listening or reading skills because they are too busy trying to think about what to say or write instead of attempting to comprehend. Furthermore, not all writing is at the same level. Some writing is more densely packed with ideas than other writing. Even if a reader may understand all of the words of a sentence, sometimes the reader still might not understand the overall idea(s) presented therein. Sometimes a reader may need to read sentences or paragraphs many times before starting to understand their meaning(s). You do not need to go to school or college to learn these kinds of reading/listening comprehension skills, but surely exposure to more complex ideas or even various aspects of the sciences is going to increase reading and listening comprehension skills - as well as practice.. these kinds of skills do not come to individuals equally... and each of us likely have some strengths and weaknesses in where we are at and where we might be ready, willing and/or able to take ourselves.
