Well I'm trying to look on the bright side and convince myself and Black arrow that there is a small possibility of things working out in the long run. Amongst all the negativity, which I too am guilty of, I'm trying to look at things with more positivity and hope the positive energy rubs off on others.
Also, with the broken english and grammar in these updates, it's sometimes hard to determine exactly what they mean sometimes. Like when David said that the backplanes were fixed and in production, but they have handmade backplanes for testing....some of the info given is convoluted, ya know?
You're an idiot!! I tried to be a little less harsh but really just thought I'd simply sum it up. Especially since you've posted this twice after someone tried to explain it to you the first time. The PSU will not be included with compensation units and I'm baffled how you have related this part of the update to compensation units. Carry on living in dream land if you like! The rest of us, I believe, have come to realise that this is a failed venture with very little hope of any decent compensation and not a chance in hell of obtaining a refund. Lets face it, the compensation has reduced to being shipped at the end of the queue now even though we were promised shipping with our order. So we are going down hill while you are rising on your cloud of dreams which means soon we will all be able to stand at the bottom and watch you fall a very long way, back to our level. Wow man. I was just stating my opinion and trying to have a little optimism. No need to get angry bro. If you want to live in FUD land, be my guest, I'll be in dream land if you need me.

I have finally given in and requested a full refund. I've waited patiently through all the delays and failure to meet the obligations agreed but the compensation package is so bad that it's now a total no-brainer to refuse. I was expecting the 'surprise' to be the compensation being improved significantly and am now very dissapointed. I paid in BTC and I can see that the BTC has remained in the order-specific wallet I sent it to and has not been touched so I cannot see any reason why they cannot refund me in full, especially considering I'm only requesting a refund based on blackarrow's failure, not mine. I can't understand how they've been shipping 'on schedule' and 'next week' and 'soon' for nearly 5 months now, with no sight of my order. Early 1000's ordered direct in November, and paid in full.
I suspect we'll have to start a collating all the misleading statements and changes to the terms and conditions made after-the-fact in case we have to fight for fair refunds. This thread should be a good starting point I suppose.
Very disappointed in Black Arrow Software, sorry but I trusted in you and you've let me down guys.
I'm in the same boat. Finally requested my refund from MS. I was very optimistic (naive?) about BA until recently. It appears BA wants to get sued in to bankruptcy like hashfast. Like hashfast, blackarrow has a very capable chip which can easily ROI at the right price. I just don't understand why they would rather force us to refund instead of offering fair compensation. 6 chips per x1 and 100 per x3 is just sad. We all know that the chips cost less than $10 each to produce so why are you making us pay $60? Blackarrow is the only company currently attempting to sell chips for more than $0.5/gh. Are you forgetting that preorders funded this project? BA has the ability to make all their customers ROI but they chose to bullshit and give us the bare minimum. The excuse for why they couldn't price match is also hilarious.

You were one of BA's staunchest supporters before, but seems you've finally seen the light. These guys don't give a F about us, and it showed in their trickles of vague updates and piss poor compensation. I'd say even BFL_Josh communicates better then these bastards(lying scum that he is). I feel you man. Luckily we've both ordered through Minersource, so we have that refund option. Very sad for all direct Black Arrow customers, as they're shit out of luck without a lawyer or class action suit. Hope any straggler MS customers opts for refund or Gift card comp. Minersource is the only decent thing to come out of this Black Arrow debacle. They've treated me well and been very responsive. Total opposite from those BA ass rapists...

Sorry for your loss. What other miners do you own or have on pre-order?

Fortunately none other than my x1. I couldn't even bring myself to preorder the s3 because as with every competent company, bitmain will have no problem selling from stock if their hardware is solid. Hope any straggler MS customers opts for refund or Gift card comp. Minersource is the only decent thing to come out of this Black Arrow debacle. They've treated me well and been very responsive. Total opposite from those BA ass rapists... The thing is I really doubt minersource has enough funds to refund everyone. I'm a fan of MS as well which is partially why I held off on requesting a refund for so long. The other reason was because I thought BA would give us reasonable compensation like tripling each order or exchange miners for 10 x amount of chips.

Well depends, if you have the funds, I think it might be worthwhile. If you buy 25 boards, a discount of 5% applies = 195 euro each board

Sorry if you think it is not right to be posted here I do not think you are well informed: 7 Hex4M Minion based boards on a single TP-link

Thanks Marto, do you know why BA is stalling?
Why would the designer of the chips not be able to get them running? They MUST have had their customer hosting datacenter packed to the brim with gear for months and self-mining the crap out of it while telling us lie after lie?

Ofcourse they have been. Just because the miner isn't presentable for a customer doesn't mean it isn't good enough to sit on a shelf and hash away while they figure out the rest of it. They had working hashing boards a couple months ago. Do you think they would let all the Raspberry Pi's go to waste? They were originally going to ship them to their customers in a cobbled X1 but then had a miraculous breakthrough with their controller. I don't see any Pi's available to buy on their page. And for a company hurting as much as BA I don't see them not liquidating anything that's not of use to them anymore.

Do the Marto boards run off of CGMiner or do they use that weird Hex miner stuff?

Sorry if you think it is not right to be posted here I do not think you are well informed: 7 Hex4M Minion based boards on a single TP-link actually, I'm glad you have. I am wondering if you have stock to handle a crush of customers asking for 25 stuffed boards each and if you will offer a price break at 100 minions. so, what is the lead and what is the cost for people that may want to decide to convert their X-3 orders to 100 minion chips and convert them to working boards please be conservative on the lead/capacity issue. Our assembly service is2 weeks after the chips got here. WE have enough PCB's coming in end of this week

Not to discourage anyone... but in addition to getting the boards populated with the chips you need cooling (do the boards from Technobit include the fans?), a box for mounting, power supplies, connectors/cables. Some sort of front end that can communicate with all the boards, hosting... who is going to provide all that and more importantly at what cost?

So who has chips in hand they are willing to sell? Anyone besides BA directly I would consider buying their chips. Chips must be in hand.
We will have 400 chips on Thursday in hand.

Hey Flappy, are you the UK reseller?
Yes Dear FlappySocks, if you are the UK reseller, could you please send an update email to your customers like when you went to China to see BA? When do you expect the orders to be delivered? What options do we have? Do we get 3TH's as promised by BA? Chips instead of miners? Power Supply included with compensation unit? Are you able to offer refunds like MS is doing? That would be nice.

We will have 400 chips on Thursday in hand. Do you know what your price point will be? There seems to be a lot misinformation about these, has someone compiled a list of what is exactly needed for these to get up an running? Also, will I be contacted for my hosting or do I need to email you guys? Same price as BA's site at time of order. Technobit has it listed on his site what you need for each miner.
